Excellent video I'm definitely gonna do this and may tweak it just a bit and do a u tube video on it. I will give you all the credit.. This looks like it will be awesome thanks for posting and tight chains brother
Would a smaller hole like a couple of 1/2 inch work just as well? Want to try this but dont want to drill big holes in my posts or buy another expensive bit.
Very nice set! I just finished my nb trappers education course today and plan on targeting a few coyotes this fall! Just curious as to which trap you would choose for this set?
I thought I seen this set up in the "Idaho Trappers Magazine" you wrote an article for. At the time you said you were thinking about using a set from that magazine and if you did you were going to give credit to the person that wrote it, is this that set up sure looks like it?
No, Jay this one i have been using for a while now, the one in the magazine was the one where the guy cuts a short stump in half...that one is still in the making.
Thanks for watching sharing that set ! I'm going to give this a try. That's a great change up set. 👍🏻🇺🇲
Hope you enjoy
Great idea! I have the perfect spots for doing just that set.
Perfect! Let us know how you do. Thanks for watching
That’s an awesome idea brother! I’m definitely going to try that when I can ! Nicely done 🙂👍👍👍
Thanks 👍

Great looking set. Another one to add to the list. Later and thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
I Love the fence post leaning comment....made me laugh!!!!
Good Stuff boys! We love when your son is in the video 🙂. Keep the great information coming.
Thank you! Will do!
Nice video. I’m a NB expat living in Ontario and just getting started trapping. Thanks for the tips!
Glad to help
I died laughing when you said “ you, you right there holding the camera”. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Awesome set im going to be trying that set this year thanks for that
No problem 👍
Nice set.. I like that...good video
Glad you like it
Do you degrees your traps and use the blue stuff for dye and the wax before you you use your traps
I have a more wooded area then pasture… I guess a tree would work as well as a post eh?
Thanks for the video 👍🏻
can't see why not....although the post in a field is already a natural attractant

can't see why not, it's purpose is to hold scent, but i do feel that the hole does have some eye appeal as they get closer
Screw a small piece of 2X4, it has eye appeal and your not drilling holes in your post. I was thinking the same thing when I seen your comment.

typically a duke 550 pro if i'm looking for coyote
@@NBWildman thank you very much!

@@NBWildman Nice, I use to use the one you show for bobcats. Tight chains
👍👍
what do you put on the rag ?
in this case a fox gland lure
What’s your favorite trap for this set?
if i'm after coyote i use duke 550 right now, but the MB 650 is great as well
