Hey all. Hope you enjoy this video today. If you did, make sure to check out the whole flight with Loganair on the inaugural flight from Guernsey to Edinburgh!
I just flew on one of these. The flight was nearly at capacity, but we still had some rock n' roll at V1- Rotate out of DFW. When the wheels pull up, there is a definite and solid clunk. Nice plane. A true workhorse of the regionals.
That takeoff video was altered. In fact, the whole video looks fabricated, dude. 1) There is no such thing as an ERJ 145, let alone ANY ERJ that is capable of anything other than moderate acceleration. 2) Maybe it's because iPhone cameras are crap, but the 'footage' looks computer-generated and 3) next time pick a more believable aircraft that isn't as under-powered as that one.
Timothy Ogden did you consider the plane may have been almost empty? The 145 does not have a lot of excess power at MTOW but with lower loads will accelerate well
@@themiswalkthroughs4474 Yes, I do realize the ERJ 145 exists. If you actually go back and READ the entire sentence in its entirety, you would see that you mis-read it. That's what I get for proper utlization of the English language and the punctuation that makes it so descriptive. Go on. Read it again.

I've been on of these on Inter Caribbean Airways and boy could you feel the acceleration...

1:25 engine start
15 seconds or so to rotation, yes, pretty smartly off the ground.
Certainly kicks you back into your seat.
Wow
What engines do they have?
Rolls Royce AE3007
That’s pretty normal
