It's an irony that often the better a tune is known, and the more ubiquitous in sessions and the like, the more it's likely to be viewed with disdain by some players. (Thus proving the saying "familiarity breeds contempt".) However when recording tunes for this channel and my website I have found that often its quite instructive to revisit these tunes with a fresh ear and an open mind...
