    I am a 54 yr old woman who has lived with Melas all my life from uncontrollable epilepsy and stroke like episodes,can't maintain body fat and find it hard to gain weight, I'm loosing eye sight and hearing loss all I want to do is sleep I suffer fautege no energy to start my day off

    what is Khondrion? its a hit compound for MELAS Syndrome patients in the Netherlands, why isn't it available in other countries?

      oh, big pharmaceutical companies don't want to make cures anymore. They just make disposable bandaids for broken bones. it's an awful truth. but wake up world. -Jeff in southern Japan commenting from my wife's RUclips. Thanks for explaining MELAS Syndrome, i survived Covid-19 last year due to boosting my own immune system with Meditation for 40 minutes per day during my work brakes. Teach meditation to your MELAS Syndrome patients. 🧘🎶☮️

    Very interesting presentation, gives great context to a rare disease. I just admitted a patient with a stroke like episode, and she had a low hereoplasmy on blood. Based on the pathophys I assumed there would be variability but didn't realize how poorly predictive blood heteroplasmy could be. Thanks for posting.
