The helper spring aka tender springs, really only take up the slack at full droop to ensure the springs don’t rattle around. Since they’re fully compressed and bound up with the car on the ground, they don’t actually change the suspension’s spring rate at all.

my old bosses dad had one of these colors nsx collecting dust in one of his shops guy owned like 200 cars and he just called it the racecar. i dont think he knew what he had. i still wonder if its sitting in there still its a shame if it is cuz it deserves some love. i just dont have the money to buy it or i would see if it is lol
I never understood the plastic/plastic wrapped spring perches - I would rather have aluminum from their other models. Also, why didn't the NSX owner just buy new OEM Top hats to avoid all the labor and then make it easier to revert to stock? Are they not made anymore?

You won't see much, if any, rust on an NSX. They're mostly aluminum, and most owners aren't crazy enough to drive them in the winter

Agreed, however some of the components in the Oem top hat were not available at the moment
