Hi Rob! Keith here in Florida USA. Thanks for putting up this video. I hope you will put up more repair videos to your FZ1. I have a 2002 FZ1 and I am interested in any and all repair videos as I will be attempting to do all my repairs. Thank you again!
Hello, Thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately I had a camera and sound malfunction so only managed to recover this footage. I still have a lot to learn with respect of video recording and backup.
Do NOT use the old bearing to drive in the new one. It will get stuck and you’ll end up driving the new one out just to push the old one out that’s now on top of the new one leaving you no way to drive it back in all the way. Use the correct tool to drive the new bearing in. You’ll thank me later.
Is that Michelin Pilot Power 6’s that your using now? Would you let me know your thoughts on your tires? I just got a set mounted on my 2006 FZ1, but hadn’t put more than 20 miles on them yet. Good video dude!
Hi, No unfortunately. They are road 5s and give really good grip. It’s great to ride on good rubber, confidence inspiring. I am a little jealous of your road 6s though. I will have to get some more miles under my belt first though.
@@mammothmotouk what color are you going to shoot? I’m contemplating on doing a color change on mine. It’s the liquid silver from the factory now. I had a Honda Magna that was a 1988 and it was a darker red metallic. Had Magna sprayed on the tank in charcoal grey metallic, that was one of my favorite colors so far.
You are missing part of the job. Removing and reinstalling the wheel. There are small and long spacers, and I'm not sure which one is on the brake side and can't install the wheel back 😢

You can see the needle bearing @ 9:57 mark. He didn't change that OR the other wheelbearing on the other side of the wheel.

Are your tires the Michelin pilot road 6’s? How do you like them so far? I just got a set on my FZ1. Not broken in yet.

That’s a top secrete star the moment but it should, as long as I don’t mess it up, be mint.
If are going to use music, please level your audio, the music covers your voice and it is overshooting
Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it.

Hi you missed 2 bearings out mate
Hi,
Thanks for the comment. At the time of filming, I had camera issues and lost most of the footage.
I thought it was still worth posting though.
Hi mate when are more videos coming. Many thanks
