Its so exciting running the first log through the mill. Beautiful machine you have. Top notch company, Woodland Mills. Thanks for sharing and subscribing. Look forward to chatting with you again. Take care and see you on the next one.
@@stevenray1059 I'm sorry to here that. Pandemic plans didn't go accordingly for alot of people, myself included. Glad you got something. Mine's on order. Is it addictive as they say?
Hey David. I just threw this video up so friends and family could take a look and haven't checked back, so sorry for the late response! Like you, I had been researching mills in my price range, and kept coming back to the Woodlands. After many hours of researching videos and forums and a year or so of him-hawing, I decided to finally pull the trigger and make the purchase. I can't tell you how smooth and fast the transaction went.... the Woodland Mill folks are super helpful and kept me informed the through the whole process. Assembly was basic, but you have to keep your eye on things for sure because the instructions are also basic...LOL. The material quality is actually much better than I expected for the price. Unfortunately, a few days after getting it set up, the weather here in Central Alabama turn crappy then the flu set in, so I have only run a few logs through it. I haven't had a single issue up to this point! Cut mostly pine and some oak and it performs fabulously...so far. And man, is it addicting! LOL. Umm, the only thing that is a pain or I would like to see changed is this model does not come with the adjustable legs like the other models, which makes for tedious leveling of the deck or foundation so that the rails stay true and level. Would have been much nicer to be able to simply make minor adjustments to legs. Mine will eventually be mounted on a trailer, so this shouldn't be an issue then. Other than that, I wish I hadn't waited so long to buy it and after familiarizing with I can very well see myself upgrading! Good thing is these hold their resale value so well. Go for it, you won't be disappointed.
I second that! My first mill was a woodland mills HM126. It was a great mill for the money. Even though I never intended to make money with it, it paid for itself several times in the year and a half i owned it.
Nice video! Maybe you guys can help me, for my first sawmill I'm hesitating between the HM122 and the HM126 (adding an extension either way) I've seen the difference between them on Woodlands website but I'm wondering what advice would real life users have? Thanks in advance!
you are quick with that mill, good work.
Thanks Ben. I've had for awhile now, and only gets easier with time. Still no complaints with it!

Nice mill. I'm feeling the satisfaction.
Nice mill! I am considering a Woodland 122 myself. Thanks
Hope you've done it! I am waiting for mine to arrive (on back order). I have $15k worth of lumber ready to be milled. Was a no brainer.
So did you get your mill?
I actually have a circle mill. I cut short logs with it. The pandemic messed up my plans for the Woodland.

@@evypr0ductions Size. If you have trees over 22" than get the 126. If not, the 122 will do ya.
What size engine on the mill?
Should have got a Norwood
