If you find any of Madam Nazar's collectible items before buying into the Collector role, you will still have those items even though they will not show up in your inventory until you do decide to become a Collector. When you finally do buy the Collector's bag, all collectibles you had previously picked up will suddenly show up in your inventory. On a related note, it is possible to have Gus craft trinkets for you even if you haven't bought into either the Collector or Naturalist roles. Gus will be able to see if you have the neccessary jewelry piece even if you're not a Collector.

For some reason, for quite a long time, I thought you could only do it in single player. Sometimes you can get about $1 and some food or tonics if you search both saddle bags...and if you can avoid being kicked to death by a spooked horse😅
Useless personal fact: I've barely advanced my character since they stopped updating the game. I was one of the first to play Online - and I mean really one of the first: I was there, the second RDO went live. I took vacation days from work to play RDO that week, and I was hardcore for about two years straight. Fairly hardcore until they stopped updating, then I just got depressed... because there were so many issues with gameplay. I've been stalled in the 340 level for years, as all momentum went to GTA. Great video... I didn't know a lot of that stuff.
I tried getting back into red dead online with a buddy of mine today after his GTAO account was wrongfully banned. We both encounter the same issues that we cannot call our horses despite them being alive and active, and whenever we go to stable to exit on horse the game freezes upon stable exit, same for both of us. Rockstar sucks man
The reason why the skins of Legendaries in missions is more valuable is simply because you *have to* skin them in order to finish the mission. You can only skin or sample them, not take the full carcass, while in freeroam you can. That was actually a fair decision by Rockstar.
For the moonshiner role; i unlocked it on my first delivery last week on ps5. Dont know why but im currently level 2 on trader and level 11 on moonshiner and didnt spend the 5 gold bars to unlock it prematurely
People ask what the best saddle is, I say they all are because upgrading stirrups makes all saddles good. When hitting L3 at proper times you pretty much never run out of stamina, and feeding your horse is super easy so really any saddle that reduces core drain is also kind of not worth it. So I tell people buy a saddle that you think looks cool. I use the Collector Saddle because I love all the trinkets that hang off it.
"Travelling from wilderness camp to normal camp always costs only 1$" weell unless you have the bug/glich that your game instantly crashes when you try to set up the wilderness camp... nearly 2k $ wasted for me then^^ since the problem is appearing since years and apparently there is no solution for it and R* wont do anything about it either

Yes, the black Shire horse. That’s my favorite one for story mode simply because it’s a big damn horse. I named him Charlemagne. And also use the rampage trainer to make him slightly bigger. Was very disappoint good night ed when I discovered that the black shire horse is not available online. Nonsense. Unacceptable.

its funny because hip firing a shotgun your most likely to kill an enemy than you are just aiming and shooting. i assume the pellets have to spread more to do more damage and thats why hip firing works more consistent for 1 hitting them while aiming just knocks the enemies down.

Also collectable flowers and alcohol bottles can be used as moonshine ingredients, particularly creek plum and agarita.
Another thing I found out the hard way is that knocking out legendary bounties seems to count as killing them :/
