Trick of fate.
Gabriel, an aspiring writer of Broadway musicals, meets Mark, a muscled stripper, who picks him up on the subway. They spend the night trying to find somewhere to be alone... forced to contend with Gabriel's selfish roommate, his irritating best friend, and a vicious, jealous drag queen in a gay dance club. The sun rises on a promising new relationship.

I was a 14 gay boy in Italy when I saw this movie...I still remember the tender feeling of being portrayed as normal in a picture.This movie helped me so much! I used to listen this song in bed for hours dreaming about my future and the possibility to fall in love. This year I'm gonna marry my boyfriend and It feels surreal.

Shot in three weeks, released 22 years ago, Trick continues to get new fans and keep those who have seen it before. It captures a time and place long gone and brings it alive in ways that are still relevant and charming today. I'd call that a masterpiece.

One of the sweetest and funniest films ever, I've seen it thirty times or more. All the performances, leading and supporting are spot on wonderful. A gay fairy tale that never loses its charm.

"Trick" was one of the first gay films I saw in my life and I loved it so much. I still listen to this song in January, 2021.
wow, everyone is waiting for their "trick of fate." one day all of our dreams will come true. this is the most perfect song to be played in a romantic movie and it suited this movie so well. it still brings me to tears; the movie and the song. just a brilliant production.

No idea why this song came into mind today. I saw this movie as a baby gay, not too long after it was released. I must have been 16 or 17. An entire life ahead of me. I'm in my 40s now and wouldn't change a thing. Life has had some good and bad times, but the best time to be alive is right now. Each day is a gift.
Temos a mesma idade. Quando esse filme.e foi lançando não cheguei a vê-lo na época de lançamento alguns anos depois já nos anos 2000. Também estou com 40 hoje. A vida depois desse filme tomou altos e baixos mas é interessante quando vemos um filme desses e nos ligamos com ele com o tempo em que éramos mais jovens.

I remember watching this beautiful🎉movie in the early 2000s, how I missed that era! This one is the best gay movie ever! They both are cute couples....
Such a fabulous movie with a captivating storyline. The plot was simple and ridiculous, but it's what made this film a masterpiece. Just classic. Definitely one of the best gay films out there.

This is one of my favorite movies (gay love stories). And this song is one of my favorite movie songtrack songs. At one time, when I was watching this movie over and over, I had all of these words memorized.

Although the cute actor later acted horror movie and scared me to death after he grew older, he really got me because of his beautiful innocent eyes such as those of deers.

It's funny how life works, regardless how big of a catch you think you are, there is no guarantee you will find someone who appreciates you. You know that saying, use it or lose it. After being single for all this years and not having an companionship, I find its getting harder to fall in love with someone .I am not sure my heart is just getting colder or dying each everyday or I am more realistic.
