Oh yeah. Fishing has been great. Had a couple of slow days bc it got back up to 80 degrees but once that front came in, it set it off again.
Looks like one of those mornings where they bite like crazy and when they decide to quit biting it's over.
Yep. Tide went slack, bite completely stopped. We went to the cape to chase Albies for 2 hours. Came back and it was mainly greys
They're in the middle marsh as of friday
Sweet. We were obviously at Shack Jetty. I didn’t fish the marsh that much this year but the times I did it was loaded with Specks and Drum.
Ahhhh THAT rock jetty has trout. Radio rock has none yet.
Haha maybe. But was it this Monday? Last Monday? Early October?
lol they going be packed there next week . Think I’ll be one of them as well .

You’re right it’s 100% a local thing. But same tactics can be applied to other similar jetty set ups.
What rod and reel?
Fenwick HMG 7’ med fast. Daiwa BG 2500. 15lb braid and 12lb flouro leader. About 3-4’ of it.
