To anyone about to meet your significant other's parents: You've got this. You're going to be amazing. Just be confident.
One can also try to care less about what they think... potentially... sometimes.
Sometimes it's not that tense of an interaction, sometimes the parents are more chill, sometimes the partner doesn't really care if ya get along with their parents or not, etc.
I haven't had a tense and formal experience like this at all, and now I'm 30, so I feel I wouldn't really care to be too subject to this situation, unless my partner was really into family stuff, which I'm not.
