    This is great! I’m not even swapping I needed to shorten the axel on a car as hot wheels cut it too long from factory ( it was a Porsche 911 GT3 and it looked goofy AF with this hideous wheel base)

    Where did you buy the rods and tires?

    • @3rdeyediecast644
      @3rdeyediecast644  2 года назад

      The tires i get from the hotwheels premium cars and just remove them myself. The rods are brass i got from hobby lobby but if you are going to use the crimping method you can also use a paper clip 📎 the more thicker ones so the wheels are stable . I will be making a new video soon using brass tubes

      @@3rdeyediecast644 thanks a lot! I’m trying the paper clip method now. I’ve been debating on weather to destroy a premium for the wheels and finally did it and my Subaru came out awesome! I also drilled out the exaust and added a custom one with a part of a pen

    Didn't understand why you cut the axel in half when you could've just cut the end off and repurposed the axel on a different car (we're all different). I do understand they are cheap to replace though. I buy a LOT of my materials at Michaels craft store......super cheap for all your h.w. needs
