DIY Crossbody Bag: Crafting Adventure with Free Pattern!

- Today, I'll show you how to make a stylish crossbody bag. We've crafted it entirely from veg-tan leather, dyed in our UK workshop. The front leather is approximately 1.5mm thick, while the back is about 2mm. We've coloured it with Norsol oil dye in a rich horse chestnut shade, applying two coats for depth. Afterwards, we nourished the leather with neatsfoot oil and added a topcoat of leather sheen from Fiebing's. This bag features both hand and machine stitching.

Hello from Canada! Just found your channel today. Thanks for the free pattern -it looks like a great project. Thanks for the great tip about putting a light inside to see where to stitch!!! I only hand stitch so is it safe to assume that I can install the strap rings/clasp before I stitch the back and front together? Looking forward to what you post next.
Thanks buddy! Nice to meet you. When you hand stitch you can fit o rings before, way easier I think next one I will fit loops so I can stitch them in before
Great Video. Thanks you for sharing the pattern.
Greetings from Germany
Thanks!

Nice! Do you do anything to the flesh side of the leather after dyeing? I always use Tan-Kote to prevent color bleeding.
Thanks! on flesh side I use moss back or tokonole
