Hammock Camping Interrupted By Urgent Call

- I headed out to the mountain for relaxing overnight hammock camp at a location I found several years ago that I refer to as The Mountain Pond. Once camp was set up I went to place the game cam for overnight to capture wild life that frequents the body of water. Cell reception is very spotty in that area so when I returned to camp I checked my phone to find that I had 2 missed calls that came in 1 1/2 hours earlier from someone who rarely ever calls me so I called him back and that's when the night on the mountain changed from calm and relaxing to urgent!

Why the hell didn’t you call 911 when he called you. Or why didn’t he call 911. It doesn’t even make sense. Very stupid
I'm glad George is doing ok. Not being able to breathe is very distressing. I've been in that position before. Once I was waking up from surgery and suddenly couldn't breathe, luckily the recovery room staff were amazing and kept me calm and fixed it!
I know how you feel. I've hot congestive heart failure and having a hard time breathing is a constant aggravation. Where I work they had me cutting some material that puts off a noxious odor. Little do they know I can't tell because I can't hardly breathe to start with 😂 so I guess it makes sense to put the guy that can't breathe on cutting the stinky material 🤣. Take care of yourself.

@@earndoggy the job or jobs I was work8ng on isn't complete because I ran out of material and won't have any for 2 weeks. Then I'll be back on it finishing up a 3000 piece order and starting another 3000 piece order. Takes 102 sheets to complete an order
Never hesitate to call an ambulance. EMTs have the skills, tools and medicine that can save someone's life when every minute counts.

Definitely not click bait My friend that I have coffee with During the week sometimes Is a 78 year old 24 Vietnam veteran Who did three tours in Nam I take him to the VA sometimes when you watch the video you will see the emergency I will be talking about as he was just released from the hospital today he was having heart failure
@@randomadventures2.0 I'm sorry to hear that. I'll be praying for his speedy recovery... My Dad dealt with VA constantly, he was a WW2 Navy Disabled Veteran so I hope they take good care of him... I'll definitely be watching, God Bless you both

Thank you for putting your life on hold to help a veteran. My dad is a Vietnam vet 68-69. He's in his mid 70s now and he has his days. I try and help.out when I'm able (and when he let's me 😅). A few weeks ago I helped him get a lawn mower running that had set for several years. Gear box was locked up, fuel line was gummed up as well as the carburetor plus we had to get a new battery. It was hot that day so he spent more time in the shade than I was able to. But hey he is my dad and he raised me so I guess I owe him that much (and more 😉). Again thank you for helping out one of our veterans and I hope he makes a good recovery.

Jesus looks at how we treat others who offer us nothing. If we treat them with love, we treat Him the same way. When you cared for George, you cared for Him. That's who we are supposed to be as believers. That gives Him the glory!

No matter what anyone is doing, when someone calls needing help, drop everything. Life is too precious. And as one person commented, always call 911. The EMTs and also all of the the firefighters are trained for these situations. Glad George is doing better. Take care and looking forward to your next video.

When you brought Mrs. 2.0 her coffee, she was talking a bit to us, but you cut her right out of the shot😮….. with only half her face in the picture, then when she was walking you to the door and saying goodbye, you just kept the camera on your face completely cutting her out of the shot….. need to watch that camera 😮

I had a mate have an asthma attack at a bucks party, understandably no-one was sober enough to drive - except me for some reason. No mobile phones back then and no phone service out where we were, so I drove him. I was sticking to speed limits, obeying traffic signals and he gasps "you realise this is an emergency and you don't have to stop"...We were in a Datsun 260z...so I floored it. Got to the hospital in no time (no cops for an escort either). He was OK in the end but several hours on a nebulizer to get good again. In the meantime, some guy has come in escorted by the police with his ear bitten off, he's registered in but clearly drunk, once the cops leave, he staggers off back in the direction of the club for more scotch because his ears starting to hurt again.

Take a look at the description it just States emergency and I know with my past issues at may appear to be me but I received a call and had to break Camp immediately it turned out it was a life-or-death decision for a 78-year-old Vietnam veteran who never calls me

Praying for George's continued recovery. You are a caring friend to rush to his aid. This past weekend, I had to go out of town to attend a cousin's funeral. The weather was abnormally hot and I still feel tired from the trip. We're finally cooling down with a few rain showers here in Washington State on the eastern side.
