I've been playing it non-stop since the release. I love the gameplay, the story, the atmosphere and cozyness. It's an amazing game... with disgusting gacha mechanics. And I don't mean that the gacha itself is disgusting, but the way it is implemented. No pity carrying over between limited banners, time limited crystals, very slow acqusition of crystals... What I'm trying to say is: have as much fun as possible collecting and crafting the ingame items and stay away from gacha or at least don't get your hopes up in getting many limited banner items without throwing lots of money at your screen.
They are adjusting to see how players react with current gatcha system, just keep complaining and give them feedback. The Chinese players also have this same complaints as well.

We have the same mindset on spending in gacha games. Although my bar is a little bit lower because with regional pricing and store discounts most games I buy are less than $60. It's absolutely insanse how players can buy daily packs and they don't think there is anything wrong at all, even if they can afford it. It's just one game!

I haven't played this new Infinity Nikki game yet. But I remember playing "Shining Nikki" back in 2019 when it was first launched on the mobile. Whenever the game release a new pretty outfit, a lot of girls would comment on their commercial video saying "Take My Money!" I personally have never spent any money in the game, but I played it for roughly 9 months, and I did enjoy it very much. I didn't think a dressing game can be so fun, but the game company somehow made it work.

Looks absolutely gorgeous. I’m glad people are enjoying it. Sadly I already have my one gacha game I’m fully invested in (Atelier Resleriana). Maybe the gameplay isn’t as varied and it’s not as beautiful as this, but I’m just a sucker for seeing all my fav Atelier characters, and the story is hitting all the right spots for me. The gacha is also fairly generous imo, way more than when the game first started. My team has developed a lot and it’s a lot more fun. Still, I might try Infinity Nikki at some point, if I get the chance ❤

I tried and played very little but first impressions were surprisingly good! I love the colors, aesthetics and graphics. My only complain is that I wanted a 60fps mode.
I see several comments here saying pretty much the same thing "I'm a straight guy, I play this haha" and it reminds me of a story. I knew a guy back in the day, VERY straight and masculine, he only played female characters in all this games. His response? "I love watching a female character 😎😎😎😎😎😎 I don't want to look at a dude all day" haha 😂
Any time I come across an unashamedly feminine game with any depth whatsoever, I get really excited. Far too many games aimed at girls/women are really shallow. There are definitely exceptions, of course!! But not enough of them. Here's hoping it will come over to the Switch successor!

I love this game. The problem is I played it too much and completed almost everything there is to do (almost 100h in 😂). I mean there’s lots of content, but since it’s so new it’s kind of limited in a way…I’m still playing it tho I’m so addicted. Can’t wait for a big update with new stuff to do, like the housing system that was previously announced, I’m so excited about that!
I've been thinking of trying it. I like games that let me customize the look of my character and I love having a photo mode, so those both interest me. The game also looks very nice, so it could be a fun time. Since it's free to play, I'll give it a try soon, but I'm not spending any money on it if I can help it, unless there's something I really think will add to the game. I did the same with the card game Hearthstone. I played it for years and only bought the DLCs and a small amount of card packs. Other than that, I just grinded to get the cards I wanted. I played it daily to get the gold and get card packs that way. It was incredibly slow and I didn't get all the cards I wanted and other people often beat me, but I still had a lot of fun.
I agree with everything you said. When I first heard about it I had no plans to play, dress up game right, I don't want to play that. Then I saw some actual game play and that was it, it is everything I want in a game. I have stopped playing everything else. To be honest I think I have become a bit obsessed. And I haven't spent a cent. Spend enough time in the game and you're going to get all the bits you want. Really, how many clothes can one girl have? (I'm sure my Nikki has more clothes than I currently have in my closet 🤣) Plus I think I prefer finding sketches and then collecting stuff for the clothes that I can make, over the gatcha clothes

Feels bad because I know I will like this game a lot, but the completionist side of me will want the gacha stuff as well. An executive producer of the game is the previous Breath of the Wild director, so that might be a reason for the 'shrine' whimstar stuff and the open-worldness. As for money, I have only bought the direct purchase. $6 so far. Cause I have a rule for myself to try and only spend overall how much a game could cost. Would this have been 60 or 70$?

Runs bad on my S23 Ultra, crashing constantly, but runs good on my pc. I gave it a go when the game launched, but couldn't get into it, guess this one's not for me. Plus I don't need another gacha game to add to my list right now, too time consuming.
This game looks very good, but I'll have to pass on it because its an Online free to play Gacha game. I've been burnt one too many times on these types of games after putting a lot of money in them, i.e., game dev shuts the game down due to lack of whales. :(

I’ve been playing as a F2P player and totally loving it! You just have to go into it with the mindset of not being fooled by the gacha mechanics.

The UI is so much like Genshin. Even the artful for the flowers and fruits you have to collect. Same goes for the map. :)
