Very mature of her. We have the right to criticize our parents in how they brought us up and treat us, but we also need to take responsibility for how we treat others. You can either try to break generational trauma or pass it along.

Damn this is some very insightful advise, bravo! I have the best mom in the world but she has a tendency to say some very hurtful words to me as a kid. As an adult I tried to tell her about the things she said to me as a child that hurt me mentally and she just brushes it off as me misremembering or that I need to grow up. As a parent I'm very careful on things I say to my kids.

@@NRV0this happened to me too. My mom treated me like this and it was abusive. Im still living with trauma and haven't adjusted well to adulthood. Unfortunately I don't talk to her anymore. She can say a few things and I get super angry so it's actually not safe. It's important for our generation to break the cycle. Or else we'll pass on that trauma to the next generation. It's up to us to be aware and make that choice.

Miyoung’s obviously thought about this a lot, and did her homework on her family tree’s history, so IMO how she interacts with her parents is nobody’s business or choice to make but hers. She’s very wise.

miyoung's the favorite child bro. she's said this before that her sister actually had the short end of the stick when it comes to how their parents treated them. she knows this that's why she can't really complain much on how her parents treat HER bc they've done a lot worst to her sister.

It's always important to remember that your parents lived a full existence before they had you. That doesn't excuse or forgive everything, or in some cases anything, but it does explain why they are how they are.

Sometimes they just guilt you and just use you and it times to get out of the environment. Like its not bad and you don't have to feel guilty for not helping your parents 24/7 and be at the beck and call. I feel bad but sometimes its just for the sake of peace in the mind to leave.

Thats something ill never exactly let go of in the back of my mind and depths of my heart, but im still pretty decent at giving patience and grace cuz I really like being better than them.
    In a petty way.

I find miyoung's "content" voice amazingly annoying but she is very insightful and mature and her normal voice is very soothing to listen to in this clip. I only ever saw her in other people's streams and never really wanted to watch her but after this i think i might actually like watching her stream more than anyone else in their friend group. She's her.

I personally don’t like when she repeats often (pet peeve of mine 😅) but as someone who used to never talk, she seems to have been bursting out her bubble recently and I love that for her. Also I don’t think it’s a “content” specific voice I think it just depends on her mood.

Asian parents are strict , my parents force me to always help them from their small business , and always blame me and threaten to kick me out of the house or hurt me if i refuse , this kind of abuse goes on for some time but , when i tell them to just kill me now , because even school is hard for me , not just in the house , they stop ,
I dont know how they become aware of it , but these kind of parent is super narcissistic and they only care about money and status even not caring about their own son , a self centered parent
