Good point and also wise advising not to discriminate against negative emotions particularly anger, rage...they don't like to be insulted or pushed away either. All they want is to be listened and express themselves. This is why that it requires to stop and sit down to breath in awareness. No rush. No expectations. No precipitation. No sense of time. No goal. No aspirations. Just staying there dwelling in the present moment. Amazing experience

Still not really clear how to achieve such an insight and the capacity of exploring roots of anger in order to transform such energy into wellbeing. When suddenly anger or any other strong emotions cover me i start breathing, however, i do not feel that smth changes. Like im doing something wrong...

Dina for me it's not so much trying to control anything. But giving it space to process by just acknowledging its presence within you. It's all about our relationships with our emotions. So not trying to control. It is the healing process.

I love this talk! She is so honest and vulnerable. It’s comforting to know that even practicing monks sometimes have difficulty being with their strong emotions.

Plum Village has so many amazing people. This is the first time that I have the honour and joy of listening to Sister Hài Nghiêm. A deep bow to you, Sister. That was truthful and beautiful… (Perhaps I’m wrong but I'm guessing that you’re from Flemish Belgium, like myself.)

The experience I have about anger is that ANGER IS AN ENERGY. ALL ENERGIES CAN MANIFEST THEMSELVES UNDER DIFFERENT FORMS INCLUDING A FEELING. Although the anger is in that feeling that is not the root but just one of the forms anger manifest itself. Very important to hold there through the awareness of the in and out breathing.

I try to hold the anger like an energy, but I become ill and must express it in yelling and cursing. If I do not I become more ill.
