For me, it's the Jag. I think it looks the best, sounds the best, and has that little "something" that sets it apart. I see Porches almost every day, and they blend into an unremarkable "just another Porsche" thing to me. I also see lots of TT's, and they just look sort of cheep to me. I've only seen a handful of F-Types, and the leave a lasting impression on me. As for performance, well I wont be racing at street lights, going to a track, or pushing it to the max on the US highways, so being just a tick below is not really an issue for me, and all three are more capable than my capabilities. Just my preference, but the Jag just has "it".
I have a TTS which I bought two years ago. It is a nicely balanced car. It's great on long drives and drives through the back roads. I have sometimes experienced a slight hesitation when taking the curves aggressively. This hesitation can be bothersome at times. You are the first reviewer to note something going on and suggest that it may be an electronic throttle control of some sort that is dialing back the power. I think you might be right. I will look at that "feature" differently now.
As I reside in Canada I would choose the Audi for the AWD. I have a TTS on order which should arrive next week. If money were no object I would get the TTRS as it is fast and has AWD.
This is a tough one for me. I live in a snow climate - Boston, MA USA. I have a Audi S3 now...love it. I really love the look of the TTS and it may be my next car. The Cayman makes my heart beat faster but no AWD and so much more exp...just don't know. The Jag, for me, is too big and even though I appreciate the design, it's don't think I'd be happy with it long term.
Jaguar F-Type -Design ,the Jag looks the best. .Porsche-Cayman-Handerling & driver involvement. the Cayman drives the best Audi-Technology. the Audi has the best tech
ki flex ***** Completely agree with you. Jaguar has really hit a homerun with the exterior design. The Cayman has more fun factor. Turn off all the electronic safety measures and it will let you do almost anything. The Audi is a good daily driver. Very sedate, it predictably under steers and the interior is predictably Audi. As Thomas would say, "a good solution" and I would agree. The blue on the Cayman is also my favorite (same as the first car I owned). My only problem with all these cars is my inability to get in. You have to be very flexible. You become part of the car.
I've had a 20' TTS from new and it has been a brilliant car, but I'm thinking of going for the last of the V6 F-Types which finished the same year. Will I be delighted or disappointed?!
How has the TTS held up for your over the last year? I am a Porsche (older) car guy but the TTS has my attention and am interested in any feedback you might offer. Thanks!
@@universitybiz I have a 2017 TTS..have had all of the previous models. The TTS was 1 year old when I bought it, with 8K miles...I saved 15K...came with a full 3 year warranty (from dealer)Yeah, I like it a lot. Better handling than the previous TT's, at 296HP, just enough for an old guy...wonderful on the twisty roads...but I am biased..have thought about getting a 2 year old Cayman..but I like the underdog TTS and to me, it is a little bit more under the radar also. Very comfortable..
i had sc subaru brz now i ordered brand new 428i convertible i also watched your review of 428i convertible loved it i kinda wished you did some 0-100 times tho nd wished the car was m package :) anyways love this video as always! id also choose the tts sounds nice looks nice totally the winner
Edd Martin thanks, appreciated! Actually we dont always do that due to safety reasons. Only doing that when we really got the terrain for it for 0-100 or even 0-200. Safety first for the whole crew. :)
If you're comparing a flat six with a 4 cal you have to put the Alpha Romeo 4C in there as well..Plus isn't the F-Type an automatic. The jaguar should be compared with a Maserati Ghibli maybe? It's difficult comparing "sports" because there are so many different definitions. Muscle cars can be sports cars, Hot Hatches can be sports cars, Exotics are a completely different engine layout typically being mid engines...so like I said it's almost better just comparing different model cars of the same company or at least very similar.
Du hast zwar einen brutalen Akzent :D, machst deinen Job aber sehr professionell und gut! Wie würdest du den Sound von Cayman und TTs generell vergleichen in wenigen Worten? Beste Grüße aus Frankfurt
I'm sorry but this car should NOT be compared to the TTS they are in completely different price brackets. the TTS goes up against the base Cayman, which have the same price.
I've noticed this pattern for all the porsche comparisons. They always compare porsche's of a higher cost against cars that cost 10s of thousands of dollars less. It just seems like porsche can't compete against models in their own price bracket.
Pascal Aschwanden while it's true that TTS is below the price range. But you gotta be stupid to think Porsche can't compete against its price brackets. Almost always (unless very bias or different subjectivity, aka such as muscle heads or purely horsepower to money ratio) porshe will win against any sports cars within that range. If you don't believe me go drive one or buy one. I had the same mentality as you before until I drove them.
One of the Germanesque things i have even seen.. had to fight to keep awake during your driving dude. Sorry 😆 please try to keepnthings a little more dynamic ?
+musclerent Totally not, listen to my conclusion carefully. It is based on facts. And thing is that the Audi is WAY less expensive although the driving dynamics are great.
+Autogefühl haha that is a very German way of looking at things 😂. rarely does anyone buy anything based on a check list. It's all about emotion, desire, cost and how you think others will judge you.

100% agree. The F-Type has a special feel.

I would go with the Audi TTS ,more bag for the buck , Technology in the Cabin superior .I do like the other two especially the Cayman.
TechExplorer indeed TTS ist best price/performance
i like it how they go in much further detail than other channels.

As a Cayman owner I'm totally biased :) glad a lot of ppl here love it too!

ki flex also a good summary

If I had to pick I would pick the V8 F-type coupe but if I had to pick convertibles. I would pick the Porsche Boxster over the F-type convertible.
You had some great views in this one! Great camera-work!
MrCarGuy20 thanks!!
Jaguar F-Type, hands down!!!
way to go Thomas, great view as usual , for me only Porsche...the best design and best ride...
Fadi Lafi thanks!
Jaguar FTW

I would pick the TTS it looks more sofisticated and not too flashy.
I've had a 20' TTS from new and it has been a brilliant car, but I'm thinking of going for the last of the V6 F-Types which finished the same year. Will I be delighted or disappointed?!
If you want a good daily that is generally practical too (for a sports-car) I'd take the TT any day
Id take the Porsche and the Jag! Oh in fact i did just that, i bought both, 981 boxster s and a f type v6 s. Fantastic cars.
1- Porsche Cayman 2- Jaguar F-Type 3- Audi TT
Excellent information and photography. Great reviews.
+younggotribe thanks, appreciated !!
Just bought a new TTS then loaded APR ECU and TCU tunes a week later. Vbox 0-60 is 3.7 seconds !
How has the TTS held up for your over the last year? I am a Porsche (older) car guy but the TTS has my attention and am interested in any feedback you might offer. Thanks!

Jaguar V6, besttttttt sound
+Arvin Peopleinlove indeed best sound!
and best looks

Porsche all the time!!!
May I know which one have the softest suspension over bumpy road? (Audi TTS or Jaguar F type 3.0L v6) Thank you
Depends on the suspension you have for the TTS, need adaptive, then better
Cayman GTS, no contest.
I would pick Audi TTS with no doubts at all .......
Prices in Spain in 2020 of a 2016 car with 25.000km
F-type: 45.000€
Cayman GTS: 65.000€
My decision is clear...
wow!
Great review, and all three look awesome on the video.
Thomas is such a class act. That said, we now know the real winner of this episode is the.... Audi TT-RS!
+Simon Elof 👍👍🏁🏁
Great review, thank you.
+James Wilkinson thanks for watching!

+Moritz Emig alter cAyman: knackiger
Porsche all the way
Personally I own the TTS tuned to 370hp with 4wd. It’s a red roadster model and it’s an absolute rocket but I’d rather own the Porsche.
@@imprala_ yeah that’s bullshit, any Porsche model is incredibly expensive and there’s no such thing as a ‘woman’s model’ Porsche.
I have the Audi TTS. Its a wonderful car.
I would be happy to own any one of them xD
Alex Vennos =)
I like all of them but the cayman is wow I just wish it had flat bottom steering wheel
I like your tests most of all, gratulations. Its so neutral.
BTW, its polish second name ;)
thanks ! yeah it is :)
:)
the GTS any way, any day
For me it's the Cayman all the way. I actually prefer the exterior over the F-Type by a slim margin. Now if I can just save some pennies...
Out Of The Three I'd Have
Jaguar all the way!
The jag any day
I'm sorry but this car should NOT be compared to the TTS they are in completely different price brackets. the TTS goes up against the base Cayman, which have the same price.
Why be so strict with that? So we had the Cayman as GTS, I couldnt order another base model just for that. Doesnt make the biggest difference

Thomas are you from Poland? bc your last Name sounds very Polish :)
Not from Poland myself, but ancestors :) greetings from Gdansk, Skoda Fabia test drive coming up from Gdansk area :)
Audi TTS is the best
+James Bond As a daily driver I agree.
the ugliest one
wowowowowowow u must be blind
I've always loved the sound of a V8. But I think the Germans have taken the aural prizes here
One of the Germanesque things i have even seen.. had to fight to keep awake during your driving dude. Sorry 😆 please try to keepnthings a little more dynamic ?
are you wearing makeup? im sure Your wearing makeup haha. As always very professional vid :-)
+Thomas GLover heh no - but thanks that I obviously dont look that bad yet ;-)
Porsche Cayman
Do I sense some German bias in the tests?
+musclerent Totally not, listen to my conclusion carefully. It is based on facts. And thing is that the Audi is WAY less expensive although the driving dynamics are great.
+Autogefühl 👍
+musclerent thanks =) On the factual side, the F-TYPE has no chance, but on the emotional side, it is still my favourite
+Autogefühl haha that is a very German way of looking at things 😂. rarely does anyone buy anything based on a check list. It's all about emotion, desire, cost and how you think others will judge you.
OMG
