Me too. There is something about him that pulls me so strongly. He's incredibly attractive, but it's not from simple appearance, it's in how he sings and moves and feels the music.
+Kekkai: I know exactly what you mean. I saw YTG when they played in Eugene, OR and Sameer's voice was amazing and he has this alluring quality about him in how he moves with the music. And when he busts out his falsetto, it's truly captivating and beautiful.

I saw Young the Giant in concert a while back. While I really enjoyed that, I love the acoustical In The Open series. This is my idea of what *real* music is. I would love to be behind the cameras, listening live.

I don't really care about Billboard Statistics, for me this is the best album of the year...... period. I treasure it in the same golden shelf together with Keane's Hope and Fears.....and that's a lot to say......
I am not sure how others found the CD, but Eros, Waves and Teachers really grew on me, after I listened to the CD top heavy for four months. Did not expect Eros in the open, but now that it is here, well, it is another knockout.

I love how you guys always put the lyrics in the descriptions... I usually prefer the studio/audio/original version of a song but this is a FIRST for me.... I'm glad I stumbled upon 'In the Open' version because I like it even more than the orignial version!! There's this serene & calming element to it, different from how a studio version is refined to be perfect. 'In the Open' versions, it brings out the dynamics giving a different vibe to the original song without compromising the original sound of how its been made.
