Just bought a Honda CR-V LX on Saturday. I love it so far. Surprised at some of the features that came standard that I didn't ask for or expect to get. I went through TrueCar to negotiate a price. I'm happy.
Your right that car is very well equipped for the price. The only thing that really makes it look bad are the steel wheels. The door handles are cheap looking but not as much as the wheels are.
Yeah I bought this new on a used car budget. Very disappointed. I don't get why this car is so popular. Yes, I threw some cheap alloys on it cause I was embarrassed of driving on four spare tires. It's functional, but that's about it. Imagine what $20K buys used. Sure there is not warranty, but there is a car you can actually enjoy and not feel embarrassed driving it.
While Hyundai comes to mind first as a competitor (Tucson). You can get a Sport FWD for the same price as this unit here and probably cheaper with incentives.

Gecko Jeep Wrangler (1 of 124 made in a 2 door Sahara), Hyundai Genesis (not rare but very uncommon), and my Elantra GT (Rare in my area fully loaded plus lowered 2" with all the appearance mods = 1 of a kind). Point being why buy a car that everyone has?!

I agree with you before my mom and dad got their accord sport there were rarely accords and then after the accord sections were always empty and everywhere you turn there is an accord. It's pretty cool though tbh lol
he is full of shit the kia and hyundai merk this SUV I have sat in and test drove all three and the kia has the best Audi like drive experience and hyundai has a sexy exterior and a beautiful interior
The LX is a joke, the Touring is a HUGE joke, it's a spit shined turd. Get an EX, or just get a nice used Acura SUV better yet. THat's what I'm doing next time. Lesson learned.

Not all people care about rims and if you live in a place with bad roads or wooded area aloy wheels suck for holes and myd and crap.
