What makes it better? The Chassis that Sarah pulled the data core from to allow BT's Data Core to be installed into, was the Titan meant to be given to Cooper once he completed his Pilot Training. (Cooper's Titan used in the Pilot Sims had the same serial Number as the Chassis that Sarah deploys for Cooper to install BT's AI into.) That means the Titan built for Cooper came with a Legion Module.

Well it seems pretty obvious atleast to me. Look at the eyes of all the other titan classes, they are almost all built in or not the same shape as the sere kit, so in battle atleast it's safe to assume that the only pilots who even could get the smart pistol are those with a vanguard class titan. I don't imagine monarch would count as it's the IMC's reverse engineered version of a vanguard class and considering how it's canon that they don't know a lot about actual vanguard class titans like briggs' titan or BT, odds are Monarch isn't equipped with the sere kit. Not to mention it is meant as a last ditch effort as the smart pistol does take a considerable amount of time to lock on and any good pilot will be able to kill you before you can complete the full lockon, so that's another reason. I also highly doubt the militia or IMC can afford/would be willing to spend that much money on a sidearm for every single one of their pilots. Those pilots who do have access to it as seen in this would also basically need to sacrafice their titan/the ability to pair up with or use said titan, and given how important titans are that is not something that is worth it considering most pilots atleast in canon are meant to have good aim or not need it anyways. I do not consider multiplayer canon (see: Ash being alive) so claiming the smart pistol boost exists atleast in canon wouldn't really work, not to mention it is a temporary boost anyways and throwing away money like that would add up very quickly. Ultimately when considering the costs of it, it simply isn't worth it especially for the pilots who use a legion class titan considering it's core is basically a much better smart pistol which is also a much smarter call anyways.
when i thought they killed BT i was filled with sadness and Rage. but when i got the chance to get back up with his final aid from his old body That's when the villian fucked up. i was on a warpath because he hurt my friend.
@@OvranoPhanekh it had unlimited ammo in the level you get it not mp as balancing but every vanguard pilot should have one standard instead of it being in the titan for emergencies it's like op imagine the r97 as a aimbot gun
@@PlinkyVR in "real life" it wouldn't have infinite ammo given the fact it still goes through magazines and has to be reloaded. realistically it would be expensive as smart bullets work by each bullet having its own onboard computer to adjust its flight path to hit the designated targets, they're basically tiny missiles. it makes more sense for it to be an emergency weapon because in the event a pilot, one of their best assets, is in a particularly bad situation they would need a weapon to get them out of it faster than a regular weapon.

The Titanfall 2 is such a good game, but it got launched at a very bad time i played it from the start, that means from its launch.
Seeing the auto-pistol from the first game be used so amazing in this stretch of the game was not only hype-inducing, it made me feel powerful
