- I used 6v dc as power input.
Led - and ground pin are connected together.
Trigger (two types)
1.Non-repeating (doesn't count movement when led is on)
2. Repeatable (counts movement when led is on and output duration increases)

What did you do with gnd? I did not understand that part.
Sorry for earlier reply it was for another comment. Gnd meant the negative terminal of the module, we will connect it to power supply ground(negative pin)Also the led negative goes to power supply ground / negative pin.
What is the Maximum volt i can give there ?

My output in LED is always showing High... Could you please tell me how to resolve it
cases :
1/Adjust the timer pot,may be it's set to maximum.
2/ Use more than 4 volts. 5v is good.
3/ Change the jumper connection.
4/Or Your module is defective .

After connecting pir module led is continuously getting on off without any motion
remove the jumper completely and test it . . same issue with me but solved now . . .may be it ll help you as well . . . good luck

To the author: Do you have a schematic of the connections? I am not sure the setup with all the wires connected. From your other replies, you are using 6 volts to supply power? Is that correct?
why others use relay if it is working without what the use of that relay
1. If you want to control AC - stuff like 110/220 Volt - bulb or even some appliances
2. OR if you want to run some DC motor
Directly it is barely enough for some Led but even then good to use some NPN transistor like 2222N
Can i use a 12v siren instead of led?
Yes, you need to use transistor/mosfet to turn on the siren.Follow the diagram

ABID Inc. Sir I did your simple test and when I connect it to the 5volts power supply it stop the current and when I wave my hand to it, the led light doesn't turn on. What is the problem sir? Please help me, this is for my project in school.

This module has no sensitivity, a few tens of centimeters at best.
Some Chinese clones,cheap sensor from ebay has this problem; I've seen.
All these HC-SR501 modules are Chinese-made, including the one shown here.

What kind of power supply you are using? What's the voltage?
