I’ve been 17 years old and revving my throttle on my 125 (jokingly of course) at the lights to a guy in a GTR at the lights and he saw it as I intended, wound down his window and said “too much power for me lad” then proceeded to smoke me at the lights; I still gave it full beans from the get go though just for the giggles, it’s all about having fun guys 🤣👍

These good driving manners would be considered street racing in Germany today and the car would be impounded over this video because he filmed the plate and you could see they were doing twice the speedlimit at one point, it won't matter that it was perfectly safe. Owner would have a small chance to dodge the law if someone takes the wrap for him or a decent lawyer convinces a judge who doesn't own a car that doing twice the speedlimit is not that dangerous.
His riding style and acceleration management is extremely smooth and steady - he rode that bike like his job was a professional film cameraman, and you can see this isn't image-stabilised, it's just him. Great riding.

I would imagine it would be hard to keep up with much of anything on a 125. I wish I had read the description before I wasted the time watching this. I was expecting something exciting like a R6 chasing down the Atom, not some light spirited tailing by a scooter. I'd like to run across one of these while cruising around on my FZ-09.

I've seen a Top Gear episode where an Ariel Atom was pitted against a performance motorcycle with professional drivers on/in each, and it wasn't even close. The Atom smoked the motorcycle on their test track.

If you really listen. You hear all the air hitting the biker. Plus not really able to get low in the corners. That thing is two feet off the ground w ground effects in ever aspect of the road.
Dude you need to learn how to anticipate when he was going to floor it. Driving around like that, you should almost be on the throttle before they are. If not, you don't have a chance even if you where evenly matched.

Atom and bike 'racing' in a busy urban area..... not clever. The Volvo that 'pulled out' in front of the bike wouldn't have happened if the bike wasn't going so fast. If you want to race, do it properly on a track.

You can't ride real bikes until you're 24 in Sweden. 125cc is max if you're 16/17.

I’ve crossed 100mph on an Aprilia rs125. The derestricted, 33bhp version. They’re actually almost too light for that speed. But I loved that bike.
