Just a kitchen tips, you can put a kitchen cloth under the chop board to prevent the boards keep running 😅
哥哥好乖 識氹返爸爸❤
Yes, a shame he didn’t like the food 😂, but very sweet behaviour 🥰
Really like this episode of idioms! I feel your pain Gladys! People speak so many idioms in daily life and this episode has been very helpful and thanks for recipe for chicken broth! Will try tomorrow in fact!
非常好❤而家成日同local 同事傾開計,佢哋講得好開心,我就唔好好知佢哋噏乜😢不過好彩佢哋好好人,有時講講下都會簡單啲講翻傾緊乜,我好多謝佢地咁體貼🥰

Idiom makes you more localised. It may be hard to practice if you are not in the same culture. Do interest to learn more it.Thanks Lawrence and Gladys for your preparation🫶🏻

@@thereynoldsfamily yes, sure, very useful
would be perfect if you could have a final recap of all the phrases at the end of the video, often forget the new phrases very quickly
This is a great comment. We can take this into account for future videos on the Casual Curriculum ☺️
It’s really useful, I want to learn more !
Happy to hear that! We will continue to bring out more episodes for the Casual Curriculum 😄
好正!期待下一集,講下平時有咩閒計可以傾,男性同女性各自講咩話題多?好多時講工作冇問題,但一傾閒計就諗唔到嘢講🙃
Nice comment. We’ll be sure to revisit more conversation tips in future episodes 😃
Please teach us more idiom🙏🏻
👍🏻
有冇開線上英語班😍🙏
Thanks Reynold’s family. Two idioms in this episode are very best described my situation now. I am now under the weather as I had a car accident last Wednesday, stayed in hospital and was discharged Sunday . That I really bit the bullet that I was found fractured in my chest bones and internal bleeding in my brain 😢
Wishing you a speedy recovery
Pray for you😢
Pray for your speedy recovery
Very sorry to hear about your situation 😥, but wishing you a Swift recovery ☺️
Please introduce more local phases. Thanks.
02:01 一開始倒個個高湯係咪姐係史雲生個啲雞湯??
謝指教,母語者會避免用slang 同idiom 對非母語者
Another one teachers use a lot in school: ring any bells ? I was confused but actually what they mean is asking you if u remember this. pls do more of those cuz these appear a lot in daily life.
the only idiom i knew before coming to the uk was "raining cats and dogs"😂
Yes, correct use of a good idiom there. And glad the Casual Curriculum proves helpful 😊
I like this series! I want to improve my spoken English. I was failed in my interview because of my poor spoken English. I'm so sad.😭
Don’t be afraid, do more conversation in English in daily life, you’ll improve soon.💪😊
Third ❤
just a little comment, if we can have those idioms and its meaning at the comment to recall again. It would be reli wonderful for our further learning.
Nice idea. Thanks for sharing! 😁
(4:30) 喺 砧板 下面放條濕毛巾,咁 砧板 就唔會周圍跣架喇!安全好多。
This is a good tip. Will be sure to do this from now on. Thanks! 😁
@@thereynoldsfamily You're welcome. 🙇
What’s the differences between Broth, Soup, and Stock? I searched on the Internet but there are so many opinions, I can’t figure it out 😂
Good question! A broth is traditionally more meaty, dense and has a range of textures. Soup is traditionally smoother and the ingredients are blended. Stock is more water based and mixed with flavouring to enhance taste and can contain raising agents to increase the thickness of a soup, broth or sauce 😊
First ❤
I thought Spill the beans meant 倒瀉籮蟹😂😂😂😂😂
I thought the same 😅😅
@@stcl29🙌🏻😂
有冇人都係得右邊耳機有聲?聽得好辛苦
Left sound track is music
Right sound track is voice.
Little bit weird
Odd. We have checked this with headphones too. Will look into it further. Thanks 😄
收音不好-細聲! 好細聲
收音很弱,但音效卻很響!
Interesting. We’ll look into this 🤙🏻☺️
西式湯吾得,不如中式湯,例如:蕃茄薯仔瘦肉湯等等。
愛飲湯人士
Definitely a culture thing. I prefer Chinese-style and Laurence prefers thicker, creamier Western style ☺️
no sound?
Hey. Did you get sound in the end? ☺️
Still no sound
@@thereynoldsfamilyyep ig it's fixed
only sound from right earphone, very strange
睇唔到落去,sorry聲音太奇怪,遲啲用電腦再睇過😅
唔夠喉!
西人病了時喜歡飲雞湯,中國人感冒時,多數避免食雞,文化差異?
雞湯補身,最少喺香港,未聽過病咗唔食得雞.
A Chinese herbalist advised not to eat chicken when you catch a cold.
不同民族的人對雞和病的關係有不同的見解,有一次我家的小朋友出水痘chicken pox,我的菲傭姐姐好心地勸告我們不要給他吃雞,當時我不以為然,讓他吃了雞,後來水痘變得嚴重了,不知度與吃了雞肉沒有關係。
感冒發燒唔好食雞,但其他既病就要食雞去補返
每次見到你老公教英文,都有個感覺覺得佢係果挺 "懶醒" 既鬼佬(對佢有少少負面感覺)
