    I think the 125 / 150 class is the most fun bike out of the 2 stroke class. MX bikes on trails are tons of fun. I think its a good idea, if you can , a 300 for the gnar and a 125 or 150 for the fun factor on trails that let you hit the pipe

    Can tell it’s not stock by how you have enough low end to lug it around and the power still picks up and gets into the mid without slipping the clutch. Ride my 125 in the trails as well and go up a lot of steep stuff here in Colorado, had to throw a 51 tooth sprocket on it but if you carry momentum and work the bike right, you can get thru some gnarly stuff. Riding a 125 hard, being in rhythm/flow is so satisfying

      Is your 125 a yz? Because YZs are known for down low power. Obviously not as much as the bike in the video, but I don't think you should really need to keep it on the pipe to make it up an incline.

    I think that it really comes down to personal opinion, I had a yz144 with a PC pipe force reeds and all. It had decent power but unless you want to be constantly at around 15,000 rpms then its not a good bike for you you have to keep it pinned CONSTANTLY. If you are a decent rider in my opinion it would be way better to get a 250 2t with much better torque compared to a 125 and not much heavier.

    • @Bryan_327
      @Bryan_327 Год назад

      either you weigh 250 lbs or your bike is not doing well power wise. a 125 has good enough low end tourque without slipping the clutch. if your a good enough rider and your not a heavy rider. only people that hate on 125s are heavy riders or people who ride 450s expecting it to feel the same.

    It's terrible for tight, steep, technical trails, ZERO traction, the rear spins. The X model is the one to get by far. Yz125 for track.

    I have had 250 2 strokes and 125s. I had more fun on the 125s than the 250s

    Enjoyably on a 125 yea, enjoyably on a 250 hell na. I ended up selling my 250. Too heavy and gritty for trail riding

    Will a 2-stroke handle the trails?
    Of course they will and BETTER than a 4-stroke STREET bike......
    I started doing it in 1987 with my 1978 Yamaha YZ80..........before most of you kids were even born yet.
    4-stroke dirt bikes suck and are EPA garbage......get the memo!

    Horrible trail bike. No low end power. 125 needs lots of work before being enduro ready. Just get a 300. I personally ride a 250 just cause I like riding a snappy bitch
