Audio Error around the 1:27 mark, it's the only one to my knowledge but still I made a mistake when swapping out lines! which is yk, my bad again lmao

Great work! it's so cool to see the increase in quality with each installment. While I enjoyed the recent anime, I still wish we had an actual adaptation of the comics, so I'm grateful for the work you're all doing, as this is the next best thing!
I'm so excited for when you get to volume 5 and 6
I found about this dub project just a few days ago, and seeing this video come out almost right after I had gotten done with the already existing issue dub videos gave me whiplash but was a treat to see!

Boy, I just saw Metric live last night for the first time. It's totally like what you imagine The Clash at Demonhead. The first seconds of this could be totally the reaction of people last night. It was like being in the Scott Pilgrim universe, and it was awesome.

@@subspacestudiosI really don’t like it. While I respect the work you put into this, Envy is supposed to be white. If this was done to a black character like the one princess from the princess and the frog, people would be angry. Don’t get me wrong the art’s beautiful, but if feels odd changing Envy for no reason, so just looks uncanny.

Hell there was an African American man in one of the comments saying he did not like the change. Maybe for the future don’t unnecessarily change the race? Again I mean in this in a very respectful manner.

Why Envy's black? Any problem of her being white? Just for know
her actress is black + bryan always said he wanted more representation in the series and wishes he would've added more rep, so we felt like we would change some of the characters around based off that

as a black man myself I don't like representation, just leave characters as they were instead of race swapping, Just make new characters if you want "representation" dc and marvel wants race swap everything. Just bring back original black characters like static shock or bring back spawn or make brand new black hero's.
@@narutomaster500 kind of difficult to just make a new character for such, considering we didnt make the comic. Scott has explained in another comment why Envy is poc here. I totally understand your opinion, but the channel won't suddenly change the characters just bc certain few dislike it. Especially since the representation makes a lot of people so far happy, thank you for your input though!
