Wow, your hopes and dreams list is LONG! Seems like you're making good headway on it though. Lovely fabircs. for your upcoming projects. Thanks for joining the vlog tour - excited to see what you make!
Lovely fabrics and plans, especially love the jersey with the autumn leaves and flash of blue ❤. I'd go Pietra trousers for the twill as I have made several in non stretch. Being short too, the cropped length is full length on me. I'm joining you on the batch cutting as my machine is off having a service, hopefully I'll have a nice pile of ready to go projects by the time it comes back 😊
For the tartan trousers, simplicity 1377. I'm not sure if you can still get it but it's gorgeous as a tartan trouser. It's elasticated waist and easy to add a full bum adjustment if needed (which I did for my wheelchair trousers because I'm sitting a lot).
Some great plans Sam. I’ve just finished the Adrienne blouse in the autumn golden leaves fabric. And I love it!! I’m definitely getting braver with colours. I’m thinking of maybe the Winter in London trousers in twill to go with it. I really liked that green jersey draped across you and the tartan/check fabric is 😍😍 Looking forward to seeing all your creations. Have fun. 😀
My advice, for what it's worth, is to wash your cotton twill at least twice before you cut your trousers out. I bought two colours of cotton twill from a reputable store and made two pairs of True Bias Lander pants (favourite trouser pattern of all time) and both pairs shrank upwards. I loved those pants but lengthening them was very tricky because, in quite a short time, the edge of the hem had faded.
My Sew House Seven Free Range Slacks in a stripe, due to the shape of my legs, made the stripe twist and that annoyed me. A slight knocked knee adjustment now done on the pattern. Otherwise love the pattern and have made four pairs. I’m not a dress person either, only wear them on hot summer days.
Love that Autumnal fabric. 🧶🌈🍓💙
Love the idea of the patchwork sleeve jumper! gorgeous! it has to be the new Tilly Drew!!!😍
Love your term “ wardrobe orphan “ x

Oxbow pants or Belleville Jean pattern is my suggestion for your twill ! Some very joyous fabric there !
Thank you
