Didn't she say her mother died from HIV in her home country, so how did her mother tell her she can't go to college because she doesn't have a social security number?
All I can say is, if they acted right when they came over here we would be right behind them. Unfortunately, they don't, and so they brought it on themselves.
First she said her mom died of AIDS then she had no one so she ended up in the states yet years after when she finished high school she said her mom said she can't go to college so which mom was that?
Didn’t she also state that her father was in an American 🇺🇸 prison? Is her father an American 🇺🇸 citizen? She may have a legal basis for citizenship through her father but I don’t know? She shared a sad story with contradictions.
For the life of me l don't know why we ever thought these immigrant would be on our side and they are divided in their own home land with all the tribalism.
I'm sorry, but her story seems inconsistent. I don't believe she has no family back in Jamaica, that's her home country. She doesn't have family here either in a country that's not hers. We're going to hear a lot of sad stories, in order for them to get sympathy to stay. Don't fall for it.
She reminded me of Samurai Jackson’s character, the dancing, singing dopefiend, Gator dancing and bad theatrics, just to butter somebody up to get something they want. In the movie “Jungle Fever”, with Hallé Berry. All I could see was Gator throughout her whole wretched performance!😂
During the Obama Administration we heard many sad stories. We need to retain our compassion while looking out for our own needs and interests. It is a delicate balance. We are going to start making difficult decisions. We won’t always like the outcome or the solution. Yet, we cannot afford to continue to kick 🦵 this can 🥫down the road 🚴. This Daca stuff was started under the Obama-Biden Administration. Aside from opening up the borders, one of the glaring failures of the Biden Administration was not finishing what he and Obama started with the Daca dilemma.
She probably does have extended family, however in many cases if your birth mother is not around, many kids are treated poorly, become unwanted and looked at as a burden. Just look at Madonna's adopted kids for example, all birth mothers died soon after childbirth, all chucked away in an orphanage and put up for adoption. The dads of those same kids even went on to remarry, and start new families.

I can feel empathy as well for Black immigrants, even though I am so enraged over their great disdain and disrespect for us as Native Black Americans. But I do realize it’s not all of them, but I also am aware that it’s a great percentage of them that disrespect and mistreat Black Americans. So many of them try to get into positions of power, mainly political positions and do the most against us. It’s pathetic. Even though I know all of this, other groups do the same and even worse with the intent of trying to please the present power structure, in which we all know who and what I am talking about. My question is, should we be angrier at Black immigrants than the original oppressors who set up this whole power structure?
Her story smells fishy. I don't believe her. She got on the plane at 8 years old, went to school, did a mom appeared? Sounds like a lie, but, like she says, she's sticking to her story, which someone helped her create the lie...my grandma always said...if she give one, give all or don't give non at all. She was referring to people who would give one of her 13 grandchildren a quarter, but didn't want to give the other 12, when we came with our hands opened. So, even though I can't stand DT, I say, treat them all the same, no exception, especially if they came her illegally. I was married to a Philippine, my father in law helped create lots of arranged marriages. For Greencards and citizenship, that's the main way many immigrants come to this country. It's big business. They need to stop citizenship by marriage also.
That's all that they ever do, USELESS CRAP, SO CAN WE GO TO HER COUNTRY AND GET, JOBS, EDUCATION. He*l NO ,NOTHING! I work in Hollywood, CA for a large Movie Studio, I am a CPA. I am Black. SHE WOULD GET ME FIRED TO TAKE MY JOB. EVERYONE THINKS WE ARE STUPID! I AM A TEACHER!
Story isn’t making sense. Maybe she had a second mom but, they did know she was here illegally and didn’t do anything to fix it. Not a hard one at all. If a parent robs a bank and goes to jail the kids don’t get to keep the money the parent stole. Not that her dad robbed a bank. The parents who commit an illegal act and bring their kids should be deported and the kids should go with them. That is not what birth right citizenship was meant for.

If the shoe were on the other foot and we showed up in droves to these immigrants' countries, they would want us to leave their country if we came illegally too. I dont care about anyone's situation on how they got here. If theyre here illegally, they gotta go
Hopefully she has family that can sponsor temporary protection status or something, or return to home country and use her education to advantage. The Jamaican Consulate needs to provide assistance and counsel. Interestingly, one of the early DACA situations was an Asian woman. She eventually married and became a U.S. citizen.
I knew of a black girl (friend of my sister) whose mom brought her over from England, had her living and going to school here. Built a life. Mom overstayed the visa. When she or high school mom said we’re going back. Girl was like “back to what❓”, no I’m staying.” So here she was illegally in the U.S. for years and years unable to get a real job or go to college. Couch surfing. I don’t know what happened to her. 😮
Yes, I see those Filipino HOSPICE Nurses ah, Wifives at my local Store, one around Her mid Twenties holds Her 70+ Husbands oxygen container! I am a Black Female.
The young lady has a sad and desperate heartfelt story. Most of the immigrants have sad stories. President Trump has stated that he wants to first deal with the criminals before addressing Daca recipients. Frankly, this issue is like dealing with homelessness. There are sad, desperate stories with multiple explanations for what happened. We can assess on a case by case basis or establish suggested scenarios for pathways to citizenship or at least legal residency. These discussions have been floating around for years. Therefore, Daca recipients should have some idea of what has already been discussed. This is why we need to close our borders. There are a lot of sad hardship stories. We will be hearing more sad stories just like we did during the Obama years.
My parents left the Caribbean in 1967, emigrated to NYC, and brought me to Brooklyn in 1971. I had no say in the matter. I was 10 years old. My parents did everything according to the procedure laid out by Immigration and Naturalization Services. So, I came with my Green Card / Alien Registration Card in my hand. This was not always the case. Lots of people came on student visas and remained. Some came on work visas and remained. Some came on visitor's visas and remained. If they were able to adjust their status, then they were OK. Some got married to get their visa. Nothing about the process is easy. Let's be clear, no one asks about the Asians that do this, the Arabs that do this, or the Canadians and Europeans that do this. The biggest number of undocumented peoples are coming in from Asia and Europe. I know for a fact that they have set up Amnesty programs for Irish people in this situation. You don't hear about that, however. Amerikkka lives to punch down. It loves to beat up on defenseless people, who are unable to defend themselves. Ask yourself this question, How did Melania Trump get her visa? Why was she included in the so called "Genius Program"? Who pulled strings for her? Is being a stripper and paid escort part of Genius Behavior? I will wait for an answer. Also, Donald's 1st wife, Ivana, was from the former Soviet Union. How did she get a green card? Aren't her children subject to the same Birthright Provisions as all of the people they are trying to deny? What about Baron? Isn't he an Anchor Baby? Amerikkka is a house built out of deceit and hate.
@modestkimm So if the mother lied to get her papers, doesn't that jeopardize the status of any children that she would have had? Just asking for a friend.

I'm beginning to see a disturbing pattern. Y'all seem to have problem with mainly Black Immigrants, not necessarily other immigrants like Europeans/Hispanic and Asians who make up more than 60% of all immigrants coming here? And what's up with this disrespect thing? I have many African and Carribean friends that I roll with, I don't feel disrespected by any of them, mutual respect is the key. People over generalize , is like white folks thinking the worst about us, y'all know how that feels. I know a sister that her Nigerian husband opened a hair salon for her after putting her through a beauty school. So maybe is just me, I know plenty of good black immigrants and I'm cool with them, let's stop the petty divisions y'all.
My very first experience with racism was from a Black American in high school, but I would never put down other black Americans down because of this one experience at 16. When I served in the military, they had my back. When I divorced my black American husband and had to raise my children by myself, they were there for me. So stop with the generalization and hate. I wonder what some of you would do if the boat had dropped your ancestors off in the carribean or South America?
@@Claribelle401 Many in fact (possibly most in the U.S.) do have ancestors who were dropped off in the Caribbean and throughout the Americas. I think that the problem with black peoples worldwide is that we focus so much on differences and too little on commonalities. The yts around this world come from various nations, different cultures and such, yet they know that their solidarity is key to global dominion and through their solidarity, they, as a global minority, rule over the global majority. We are as elephants allowing ourselves to be ruled by ants.
To be fair, I've haven't had problems with African immigrants in REAL life because mutual respect was shown, the ones I've met have been on code because THEY GOT IT almost immediately after being here instead of brushing the experiences we have in this country off. So I appreciate when others extend that same level of respect. I've noticed more disrespect from people from other communities especially when you check them on saying N word all the time. I think we all have to respect each other and stop letting the WS agenda control what we think of each other. Look at the comments in this video, there are people saying they're in the UK and they believe the agenda. Real life>online is always better.
This is a common story with immigrants, they always only have one living parent/relative that is sick or dying tragically. She should begin packing and saving then leave on her own terms to make a better life for herself.

Didn't she say her mother died from HIV in her home country, so how did her mother tell her she can't go to college because she doesn't have a social security number?
exactly, so she lied
All I can say is, if they acted right when they came over here we would be right behind them. Unfortunately, they don't, and so they brought it on themselves.
I’m glad they acted up, because even under the best of circumstances, immigration doesn’t work for us. Resources aren’t finite.

However, we have fought for the rights of just about every "race" only to be kicked when they overcome. We have hearts of gold and can be a little too trusting. As you mentioned, we are naturally empathetic. It is why we are going through what we are today.

This was one of the funniest videos I have seen in a while. Her rap was Hilarious 🤣🤣🤣🤣

How did she even get on a plane to come here if she had no one back at home?
@@ashasun6620I think she's lying
Story isn’t making sense. Maybe she had a second mom but, they did know she was here illegally and didn’t do anything to fix it. Not a hard one at all. If a parent robs a bank and goes to jail the kids don’t get to keep the money the parent stole. Not that her dad robbed a bank. The parents who commit an illegal act and bring their kids should be deported and the kids should go with them. That is not what birth right citizenship was meant for.
She said that her father was in prison. So, maybe he did rob a bank 🏦. She never said what her father was convicted for.

Hopefully she has family that can sponsor temporary protection status or something, or return to home country and use her education to advantage. The Jamaican Consulate needs to provide assistance and counsel. Interestingly, one of the early DACA situations was an Asian woman. She eventually married and became a U.S. citizen.

The parents are a big problem because of the decisions they make.
I concur re: Mutual respect is key.
All this divide and conquer

This is a common story with immigrants, they always only have one living parent/relative that is sick or dying tragically. She should begin packing and saving then leave on her own terms to make a better life for herself.

Facts!! Some of these people are probably from the country and don't know how these people really feel about them! They need some real education!
This is the whole truth!! We saw them as extended family even if our culture was different and would have protected them. Now most are indifferent, sad but true. I saw a video of BA women living in Bali, she went on a date with a foreign wyt man who hung around Africans. She said the man called her a N word, said that he was given permission by his friends who are real Black people from Africa and that we have no culture. Its a bit much when others are spouting that nonsense all over the world.
