we don't have the option of a Waldorf school in our area, i di love the natural approach but knowing how my Son thinks the Montessori method worked so well for him, his Preschool teacher begged us to keep him in Montessori as his learning path was so incredible , as she put it " he will be extremely bored at a traditional school" and she was right! we have him at a Montessori Farm school and he is incredibly happy!

It's so interesting how you described why your daughter wouldn't work well in a Montessori environment. Ours wouldn't either for pretty much the same reasons. When you give her an educational type Montessori toy, she will always take the single pieces and start "cooking" them for her dolls instead of using it as intended 😆 then be busy in her own pretend world for hours. I can relate so much to what you describe here.

haha i love that!! Yeah I mean I do think it can work and some kids reallyyyy thrive in it (I was one), but I also watched a family member who went through it with me really end up struggling later in life.
I was just having this convo with my mom about it the other day, they pushed so much on him when we were in school, and he did pretty well through elem-high school but then in college/his 20s is when you truly see the impact of education in the 0-7 range IMO and... well it wasn't great for him lol. When I saw that stuff in my daughter I knew i had to pull her.

This is so interesting! Thanks for these observations! It’s so easy to get caught up in a system that works for so many children and has so many devotees and not be able to see how it’s actually not a good fit for EVERY child

I'm sorry to hear that your daughter didn’t have a great experience in a Montessori school. I think that she would have still flourished in the environment with the right Montessori teacher. As you have found out, in Montessori, we follow the child. If that teacher had truly "followed" your child, they would have seen her creative interests and fed that need...

@@confidentlymom I found out about HD a year or two ago (5/1 emotional Manifestor over here! 👋). I’d love to know how you’ve been applying the concepts with your kids. My 11-month old is a 4/6 splenic projector and I’d love to cater to his HD as he grows.

@@lorraineroberte9237 Awe that's amazing!! How I'm applying with my kids may be an entire course lolol I've thought about making a HD parenting course for years now and just haven't done it yet... But I would do just the video on digestion/cognition here for parents.
Ahh i keep meeting manifestors lately after never knowing one for years!!

@@confidentlymom I will HIGHLY encourage you to do a video over HD (5/1 Ego Authority Manifestor here). It seems to be gaining popularity amongst the spiritual community, and would be a great integration into a Waldorf curriculum, I believe!
