I was so pissed over the years as Sonic Team completely dropped the ball on Blaze's character and tainted her perception forever with Sonic 06, regardless of it being non-canon.
The sound chip and speakers of the DS weren't of super high quality and the cartridges didn't have that much storage space. So the song would have to be compressed and then would have been distorted by the sound chip and small speaker. This song was made with that compression and distortion in mind so it is odd to hear it clear in it's original format.

The sound chip and speakers of the DS weren't of super high quality and the cartridges didn't have that much storage space. So the song would have to be compressed and then would have been distorted by the sound chip and small speaker.
This song was made with that compression and distortion in mind so it is odd to hear it clear in it's original format.
