I'm so sad. I used to have Sonic Rush a long time ago but lost the game cartridge. I never got past the first act and my sister never got past the first boss so we never got to see the rest of the game. I've tried emulting the game but destroyed one laptop once and listening to some of these songs just makes me cry in realisation that I missed out on the golden age of 3d/2d Sonic on slightly modern consoles.
Have you played it by now? If not there's an emulator pack named WinDS PRO (the win is only for windows, there is LinuxDS PRO and McDS PRO) the thing it has an emulator named Desmume that emulates a DS and you can get the rush rom on emulator games
Why is this soundtrack so good? This is the style modern sonic games should take while classic has it’s like, own style I can’t describe. Definitely not a bunch of shit synths and stanky guitars.
While I prefer this style, I'm fine with whatever style they go with, as long as it's done well. Forces wasn't done to well, namely because it was to short.

I always liked to headcanon that Huge Crisis was essentially a rebuilt Metal Harbor and that the base was literally named "Huge Crisis" in universe because a huge crisis is basically what caused G.U.N. to lose the original base to begin with.
best fucking level from this game, it's quite hard but it's never unfair, and the level design is really good. and of course, the music is some of the best in the entire game.
Still seeing how the G.U.N.’s robots are the only enemies (still besides both Eggman and Eggman Nega who are the primary enemies to both Sonic and Blaze) in the Huge Crisis still leads me to think/believe that either Eggman or Nega Eggman or even both took over the G.U.N.’s aircraft carrier and hijacked the G.U.N.’s robots. Which is why both Sonic and Blaze (before they finally became friends and allies some time shortly after as at the end of their fight in Dead Line) had to fought against the G.U.N.’s robots to defeat them in Huge Crisis.
i dont feel this stage is as hard as some make them to be, i hate the ending sections of Night carnival and altitude limit was a mistake, damn lasers, what i dont like about this one was more when youre forced to defeat enemies, it just stops you entirely, and its fun to mess with the boost animation when you enter the carts from the right
Nah that sky one with all the grindy lines and it the floor was basically non existent and the end boss of that act was a Jet boss. That shit was hard asf
