In US having 3-4 kids is pretty common. In India people have only one kid and having two kids also is a big thing. May be because of economy or girls have started working and they feel it is difficult to take some time off from their daily schedule to raise kids.

but the so called filthy rich like celebrities or industrialists they don’t care nor does the lower or poor class. They want more kids so they can either run the business or in case of those below poverty line bring in more income.
Only middle class which is the backbone of any society with its values , morales, education, hard work, creativity etc is thinking about restricting having kids.
