In this video I unbox and review the newly released Marvel's Warbird or Ms. Marvel as I know her. This figure is a Marvel Legends Target Exclusive and one that I didn't think that I was gonna get. Let's see what's going on and let me know what you think!

I thank you for not doing what the other 8 RUclips influencers did in their channels complain about the figures “Boobs” it started to disturb me hearing 40 years olds non stop referencing how they need to see huge boobs on female figures they have to be ultra sexy etc
I’m Gay I I’ve been collecting action figures for so many years and the last thing on my mind collecting a male action figure is a size of the bulge on the action figure or how nice their butts are

I want to really thank you for this comment. I read this just as I was walking out of work. I try to make my videos more of comparison and talk about what I like rather than just swinging arms around and spinning necks.
When I first thought about doing RUclips it was really because I felt like the people were talking at me but not too me. I started this trying and hoping that I could be more original and just connect with people who maybe felt the same way.
I laughed when you brought up the other influencers talking about body parts. It's crazy cause I always felt the same way, it's so true. I get women in real life lol so I'm not worried about those parts. Honestly I'm more concerned with smaller feet that don't stand right, skinny arms that snap and so much hair that I can't really pose the head. I think that's way more important. You are so on the money though. Tells you a lot about what's on their mind right?

That's definitely one of the things I love about your channel is that you do comparisons to other figures. You have a very upbeat attitude which is refreshing as all hell. I find RUclips lately a very dark and negative place and here is your channel like a light at the end of a dark tunnel

And I agree with you about the boxes I've kept the box that Miss Marvel came in I love the artwork in the back

This was Ms.Marvel's costume when Chris Claremont took over her book back in the day. Best Ms. Marvel costume ever.
IMO this is the original and ONLY Ms. Marvel. All that MCU stuff is excluded!

This figure looks great… I just wish these exclusives weren’t so hard to get. Like do they want our money or not 😂
I agree 100%, are you trying to sell figures or not. I hate that they make a secondary market for now reason. There is no reason to make exclusives imo. These figures are already hard to get. Plus the preorders alone already proved that there was a demand. Sometimes I just don't understand the marketing part. Maybe I'm missing something.
Ms marvel is the ONLY version of Carol Danvers I love. She’s a staple of the company. And her being super articulated is 🔥. Good review, but it doesn’t sound like you like her. Lol.
I agree with that 100%. This is the only Ms. Marvel that I like. Don't get me wrong, I really like the figure and I think she was done well. I also like the fact that she feels really well put together. What I don't like is that I have seen this figure for close to and even past 100 dollars. I think that part right there is ridiculous. Especially for something that just came out and is fresh off of production. I feel like Hasbro did us dirty making this a Target exclusive.
the head sculpts on this completely carries it. bows my mind the same company that made these heads made the cooked Invisible Woman head from a couple years ago.
The heads sculpts are deff the high point of this character. Especially since I like both of them. Usually I know right away which one I'm going with and which one is going in the closet. With this one right here you can go either way and be good.
Sometimes I feel like they just get lazy and feel like they can just put anything out. Hopefully with the fact that they don't have to make lackluster figures for horrible movies this year they can concentrate now on Quality over Quantity.
Great figure breakdown, bro! I agree, it’s a nice figure but not worth the struggle or paying secondary high prices for, but lucky I got one. I’m using her to display as fodder for Rogue, too 😂 Keep up the awesome content! 👊🏽
Thank you! I appreciate you taking the time to comment! I lucked out at 3am so I was able to put one in the cart. If it wasn't for that then I probably would have passed. I do think that she's a great figure but I wouldn't go out of the way to pay what people are asking for. I have 10 figures on my regret list that would come before her.
Definitely the best costume for the character (though I always thought it should be midnight blue, not black)
Good sculpt too, but my gripes are that she's way too short/small, and neither of her heads can look up, which means flying poses are very limited.
That bothers me about almost all of the female characters. The hair always makes the head movement super limited. The only way around that is to have them flying higher and looking down. At least she flies cause if not it would really be a problem. I do love the figure though! This is the only version I rock with!
I had an overwhelming feeling of “meh” after opening mine, and I’m not sure why. Objectively, it’s an upgrade over the previous release from top to bottom, but it just lacks…”oomph”. Now I’m looking at the previous release and wishing it had the articulation and clean lines of the new one, and I’m looking at the new one and wishing it had the presence of the previous release. Ugh. I’’m with you. If you can get her for MSRP or less, go for it, but this isn’t a figure you want to pay secondary market prices for.
That's how I was feeling myself. I like the figure but its not like we haven't seen this before. It's deff something I would like on the shelf but I have grails and regrets that I'm still looking to get that are going for this figures online price. I just can't see it. Hopefully they make more because a lot of people seem to want her, or maybe it's just FOMO. Hard to tell at this point. Thank you for commenting, I appreciate you!

Great review as always! Hasbro actually did a Mrs. Marvel/Warbird figure, but ironically it was a 3-pack Target exclusive that was packaged with Captain America and a really cool translucent Radioactive Man. A lot of people missed out on it because it was an exclusive, so that coupled with the preorder craziness that happened with Warbird this year, probably drove the price up even more. FOMO is real, lol.
I remember the 1st Toybiz Warbird in the giant man wave was Walmart exclusive in 2006 smh. Warbird has ALWAYS been a pain to get lol. I got all 3 but man each time was just terrible 😂

Oh that 3 pack was before my time then, no wonder I never came across it. I wonder why they continue to make her so limited in the first place? It seems like a lot of people gravitate towards this character.
I got the old warbird, this a definite improvement the hair is my only annoyance i want to tilt that head back for flying poses!! Otherwise great!!!👍
YESSS! That is one of the problems with most female characters. The hair gets in the way. They should make some type of hinge for that or something where we maybe can move the hair because that would make a difference.
I'm so happy to have her she fits perfectly in my main Marvel comics display
She deff adds something especially if you didn't have her already. To me this is the one and only iteration of the character. I don't respect the MCU versions.
@@ClevasMultiverse Same I only collect very few of movie stuff for Marvel I try to keep it close to the comic books, the early video games like ultimate alliance and Marvel vs Capcom games, and 90s cartoons

Actually this is the first time we're seeing this figure in all new sculpt and parts. Beside the hands, feet and arms, it's completely new, never before used pieces. That's why most people are excited for this figure, BUT hasbro knows that, that's why they made it impossible to get 🤦🏼♂️ greed.
My thing is if they want money they need to sell figures. Why make a secondary market that you can't make any money from, especially when last year was so bad for them. Like, whose running marketing over there?
Great review as always my brother. I’m happy you were able to get your hands on this figure. I’ve actually been wanting a Ms. Marvel in my Avengers collection for a min. I’m big salty they made her a Target exclusive. My luck and exclusives haven’t been the best to say the least. Lol. I might just take the L and get her on the secondary market. I know I’ve seen some exclusives find their way on Big Bad Toy Store.
Yeah my biggest gripe with this figure is the fact that they made her an exclusive and that made the price jump. They know full well that this character has not been in production like that and she is needed for a lot of collectors. They messed up when they did that. I really hate exclusives and I don't really see a need for them. These figures are hard enough to get when they're released everywhere, why make it even more complicated right?
@@ClevasMultiverseYou ain’t said nothing but the truth! I get so frustrated when they make a figure a lot of people want, exclusive. It’s sold out on the Target site. I currently can’t leave my house at the moment so I can’t go around and search multiple Target stores like I want to. And then you have to worry about scalpers out there finding them and buying them all up. Like you said, they need to stop making high sought out figures exclusive or at least produce enough to keep up with the demand because I ain’t tryna pay more money than I should. I ain’t ballin like that. 😂
She's a cool figure but I'm not blown away. Solid figure tho.

Sometimes a figure floats purely off of social media hype because it's street dated. This is a perfect example
I hate when they street date things, especially since depending where you live determines if they are even going to follow it or not. I also think this may affect people who live in dense cities more. I see people in New Mexico and little states getting things as soon as they arrive. Whats up with that right?
All the Gi joe classified figures have butterfly joints
I like G.I. Joe's. I just never got into them because I really don't know everybody like that. Only like the main characters. Not for nothing, Joe's should always come out the best when it comes to figures. Hasbro owns that IP and they don't have to pay for any license fees. That's why they come with so many accessories. They could actually come with more but they don't want to make the other lines look bad.

Hasbro made this figure before in a three pack years ago. It had Radioactive Man, Ms Marvel and Captain America in it. 2014 set.
I just learned something. Yeah 2014 was a while ago, no wonder I never came across it. 10 years is a long time for a do-over.

Nice review man warbird looks awesome but I did not get it in fact I did not get any of the 85th anniversary because a lot of these I did not need but I did kind of want it but I do not know if I could of gone it because well it is a hard figure to get
I totally lucked out with that Warbird figure. When I bought her Wolverine also happened to be available. It was Sunday morning at 3am when I checked the Target website and it had just gone up on the site. I lucked out for real, I can't even say it was me just the luck of the draw. She winded up being a great figure though and I think she's gonna go great for this X-Men Vs Avengers theme that I want to build.
I was finally able to order Warbird Saturday around midnight..& I should have it today or tomorrow..& I'm looking forward to it 👑
Here's a fun fact. I woke up at 3am on Sunday morning and I went to check my youtube and I saw someone post about Warbird. Then I was like oh yeah today is the release date. I went on the Target website and my local Target had 5 available. I ordered her for in store pick up right there. I went to the store at 10am to pick her up and they were all gone. That's how fast this went. If I would have slept through the night I would have never gotten her. Sounds like we had a similar time frame and that's the only reason that we lucked out. Congrats!

What I really hate is when that pre-order date just changes out of nowhere and then keeps changing. Congrats on the come up! These are figures worth having and I've been having my eye on them since they were announced. The only figure that got away from me this year so far has been Cable. Other than that 2024 has been pretty good! Did you open yours up already?

If we can't reasonably find it in store, couldn't even put in a pre-order because the window was too narrow then how can it be worth the hype? It does look great but in the end if i can't get it, I'll watch some reviews because i like the reviewers but i don't care beyond that.
I feel like they played it out like that on purpose which is messed up. They also had a really bad year last year. Why not just please everybody and make some money back at the same time? I just don't see it being good business.

In my heart I can't help but feel that it's because of Mz. Marvel or the worst movie ever, The Marvels. So now the original Ms. Marvel has to take a back seat to her own name. IDK that's what I think it is.
I'm actually very thankful...far too many characters with Marvel in their name (not to mention the company itself) makes it really difficult to get relevant search results. I don't hear anybody calling her Warbird in person though, and you don't have to either.
@@vittorioe At this point they forced it on us because somebody may think that we're talking about those newer characters they were trying so hard to push. Warbird is a RUclips name to me. In my room she is Ms. Marvel.
Good review! I was going to pick up a loose old one last week but I’ll probably grab her up this week.
If you can get the older one for the low I would still get that one too. I like having figures that aren't released like that. It feels better than having 20 wolverines. I never really took a look at the older ones. I wonder what the differences are?
@@ClevasMultiverse the old one looks good but with that glossy look some of the older figures had but pretty much the same. The new one has a slightly better look.
