To say I'm a little angry with how they have acted is an understatement 😑. This has undoubtedly caused a divide and that alone is unforgivable. That was not a balanced interview, it was slander hour with no evidence.
I hated how Oprah was on the news the morning after defending them as everything as fact. Meghan is using Oprah. I don't know how you can do that without questioning the other side.

I am a highly educated dark skin Black woman living in America. Meghan at first glance does not look black. I cannot understand why everyone automatically believes everything Meghan Markle says. We really do not know how Meghan was treated other than what she told Oprah. She was a senior Royal with power over her staff. Her staff is complaining she was rude to them and belittle them. Oprah now has a duty to interview the staff to get the other side of what really happened. I recall a report after her Baby Shower in New York where one of her friends reported anonymously that she was up all hours of the day and night "barking Orders"at workers back in the UK about paint colors and telling them what she says goes. Unfortunately for Harry he was duped. Meghan Markle only cares about Meghan and what Meghan wants. She is using her Duchess title to advance herself. She is angry because Archie did not get a title so she wants to get back at the royals calling them racist. She is a "feminist" who wants a title as Princess and Duchess. Meghan is a narcissist who is taking advantage of Harry who is emotionally and mentally weak. She is isolating Harry from his family so she can control him and tell him no one in his family cares about him that she is the only one who loves and understand him. Classic abuser and narcissist behavior. Now that Harry has tarnished the relationship with his family, Meghan can do what ever she wants as Harry has no one to turn to but Meghan and her mother. She will become verbally abusive to Harry and further destroy his mental sanity. One day she will tire of him, divorce him and accuse him of abusing her so she could have another Oprah tell all. She is using Harry. Harry also has some blame in this tragedy. Harry is not the only person who has lost a parent at a young age. He should find another platform other than his "poor me I lost my mother at 12" spiel. He is now 36 years old he needs to grow up. My son lost his father when he was only 8 months old on Fathers day. My Son is now 31 years old and is a very accomplished Lawyer who graduated from an Ivey League Law School. William lost his mother too but William is not using it as an excuse. Harry is a spoilt privileged brat still complaining why daddy won't pay his his bills.
Very wise words indeed. My late husband lost his father at the age of 9 and went on to have a successful career as a senior naval officer. Like your son he overcame the tragedy.

Oprah has been out of the picture for a while - up to now, she really hasn't had to deal with pushback by social media. But now, people by the thousands are re-watching at leisure and dissecting the inconsistencies in the interview, then getting together, pooling ideas and crafting a critical narrative against her that she never expected. I have done some research and found that Doria is a Licensed Social Worker who specializes in MENTAL HEALTH CARE and has done this for years! So why didn't her daughter ask for help, or how didn't she know that her daughter was having problems during their conversations?
For him to actually answer to the press like that ... off the cuff. That isn't normal for Prince William or really any of the royal family, is it? To me that evidences a deep level of anger, shock and sadness. And when I saw the clip of Prince William answering to that classless question, it actual hurt _me_ for him. Not because he's _royal_ or a _prince_ or a future _king_ ... it's because I'm a human being and so is he and I can only IMAGINE how horribly blindsided he must feel. And how *TERRIBLE* he must have felt, and how doubly awkward the black woman _walking_ with him must've felt to even hear that beastly question being asked. I felt *_horrid_* for them and about what has had to happen to create a climate where a question like that would even be THOUGHT OF. It's abhorrent, truly. To use racism as a weapon of spite, which is what I think is happening is one of the most offensive and horrific and *dangerous* things people can do.

Meghan said something about the only title that mattered was 'mom' - or words to that effect. If this is the case, then why on earth did she put on record and blast out to the world that Archie was denigrated by his father's family before he was even born, and that they weren't concerned about his safety? Archie won't always be a baby, and even as an adult, this will hurt him on both a personal level and because everyone will know his story. This isn't good parenting: it's using a child to further your own agenda. If Archie grows into an astute man, he will know this, too. Harry and Meghan go on and on about wanting privacy for themselves and their son. Privacy isn't all about taking photos: it's about words too. A thousand photos of an innocent baby will never hurt but just a few words can cause lasting pain. I just wonder at these two thinking for a moment that they are the right people to advocate for mental health. They haven't a clue.

What is more indicative of being a loving mother who puts her child first: hearing what you thought was a distressing comment about him and sorting it out in private with the child safely tucked up in bed, or airing it to tens of millions in an interview that will hover over your child's head, probably for the rest of his life? The most revealing thing about the H and M interview was to watch Oprah. Her avoidance of asking probing questions, her not asking for context, her lack of objectivity suggests she steered the interview to meet her own agenda. The difference is this afternoon Catherine arrived at the shrine to Sarah Everard dressed in jeans, a green jacket and her hair down with barely any make up. She arrived with no fanfare, walked among the mourners, left flowers and left. No one seemed to recognise her and there was no fanfare or fuss at all. Contrast with what Meghan would do - she'd make sure she was photographed in full make up, make a fuss about her arrival and go around hugging everyone .
Catherine is a genuine person, who has been slighted because of Meghan. The only person like Princess Diana is Catherine. Meghan can copy Diana as much as she likes, but Catherine is the genuine one.
No doubt this would cause Meghan to say that Catherine did it and received praise but if she did it, she'd get criticism. The difference is that, as you say, no one seemed to recognise her - even I didn't. She looked like a normal person on the street. Clearly one person did and used his or her phone to video her but she appears to have realised it, didn't turn so her full face could be seen and then quickly disappeared up the street, away from where the flowers were being laid.

There were actually a fair number of photographers there and the person snapping Catherine has a pro camera because of the rapid shutter firing, but great they didn't make a fuss or ask her an impertinent question. I worked at the Royal Marsden Hospital for a couple of years. Diana used to slip in, in her jeans, and sit with, and talk to, patients. It wasn't publicised and it was genuine. I can see the same realness in Kate, which is what the Royal Family are about, not Celebrity babble and publicity.

Very disappointed in Sharon Osborne, there is no way she is a racist and she stood up for herself very well on that talk show, even though she was out numbered. Harry’s comment that “time heals” wounds in relation to his relationship with William just further emphasizes Harry’s arrogance. He fully expects to spit in his family’s face, label them racists on a global stage, and then it all be forgiven with time. In the UK the Commonwealth is part of our family, we may not visit each other but we gather for the Commonwealth Games every few years, which I always look forward to. There was a horrible cartoon of the Queen on the front cover of the French satirical magazine, Charlie Hebdo. It depicted her kneeling with a gleeful expression, on Meghan's neck. The intention was to bring George Floyd to mind. If Harry every gets his brain and his soul back, this is what he's going to have face up to having helped create. His family being denigrated; his sister-in-law needing security; his grandmother being humilated on the front cover of a magazine and aspersions being cast on his entire family. And that's just the immediate, central effects - we don't know the extent of the fallout yet or the harm that may come from it. Add to that the hurt he caused the people of the UK, regardless of their race, colour or creed. He's not just used his own family to further his personal goals but also the people he's claiming to want to serve - having only ever 'stepped back'. He's still young, but if Meghan moves on, as she surely will, he will be left with all this damage sitting squarely on his shoulders. Maybe it will be too late for him to realise that it doesn't matter how many bathrooms you've got in your mansion if you can't look at your own face in the mirror.

Please don't beat-up on me for saying this: There was an interview with Harry long ago by a Ms.Levin in which the young prince came across most beautifully & was far, far different from the person he is now. He has radically changed in a most negative way after his marriage to Ms. Markle and being separated from his family and his country. He is redeemable. All he needs is a loving, kind wife and to return to his family. He is not very strong emotionally or the brightest bulb and his present wife has all the qualities of a monster who will throw him to the wolves if and when it suits her. I listen to his old mates who really loved him for his empathy, good humour and trust - they cannot believe it's the same prince they once knew.

@@globalcitizenn Anne's children do not have any titles at all. All of the Queen's other grandchildren, other than William and Harry, work regular jobs and pay their own way in the world. The only great grandchildren with a title at all are William's children, because William is the direct heir. It seems Harry has gotten a swelled head at some point in his life, and started to think he has what he has, not because of the institution and his role in it, but because of something inherently special about himself. He feels entitled.

When my eldest daughter was pregnant and we found out She was having a Girl, We were so excited because the Father had Brown Eyes and in our family we only had Blue and Green Eyes and having a Brown Eyed Baby was so exciting! Her mother is a certified mental health worker and Harry underwent years of therapy, so help was there. 4 she said Catherine and the Royal family didn’t welcome her....In her engagement video she said Catherine had been very welcoming and the Royal Family were like the family she never had. 5. The accusation of racism....I’ll refer you to the previous answer. The Royal Family were like the family she never had, and Charles was the one who asked the gospel choir to the wedding. He has since kept in touch checking how the choir are doing. 6. Her passport was taken away and she couldn’t travel....She travelled abroad for her baby shower and to meet friends at an upmarket eatery...7. Archie didn’t get a title because of his race.....Only the first son of the Prince of Wales, children are entitled to the title Prince/Princess. Harry is the second son so Archie isn’t entitled. The statute for who gets what was written over One hundred years ago and is not up for debate. Archie will get a title when Charles is King.....This wasn’t in the interview but it’s either 9 or 10 of her staff who have left in quick succession, which goes toward her character and belies her victim narrative. Look I’m American and can’t stand those two. From the very beginning she seemed very disingenuous to me. My 17 year old daughter hit the nail on the head. She said that all the issues Megan and Harry had / contrived were born out of one of the most deadly sins... Envy... Jealousy was oozing from every pore. Harry always has had to play 2nd fiddle to William. William spent more time with his grandparents than Harry, William from an early age was and is in training as our future Queen. Plus Harry's heritage has often been in question and he's grown up with that. Meg couldn't stand having to be subservient to William and Kate, she didn't like Royal etiquette, having to curtsey, the hierarchy open demonstrated at public events and she hated not being able to do whatever she wanted.

What is annoying me to no end is this notion that we have to like her because she is black. Ethnicity should never be the factor to determine if you like a person or not. That is removing from a person their individuality and personality and reducing them to being ,in her case, a black person and nothing more. Reminds me very closely of what slavery was. A person's colour, ethnicity should never be the primary , the fundamental reason for anyone to be appraised by others. I believe Harry will regret leaving his family and also minimizing his children’s bounding with their cousins. It's interesting to note ,however, none of them seem to last for long just like all her relationships. People keep using the word narcissist with her name. I have a question. Since Meghan is only 25% or so 'of color', why does everyone need to refer to her as if she is 50% or more black? She is clearly more white than black. Furthermore, why should there never be any acceptance or 'celebration' in her white genetics? I have never been a racist and despise seeing it but Meghan, yeah, she hasn't experienced true racism in my opinion! I am getting rather fed up with having being white represented as something 'bad' in the media and it's a form of 'reverse' racism that is becoming acceptable. It's not! Her mother was gone for most of her upbringing. I would say that culturally, Meghan is white, no matter what her DNA says. Thinking about what you said, now that many have had their DNA "done", people are astounded to find they have a part of one percent sub=Saharan African, a lot of people would have to change their racial classification according to the old "one drop rule."

I have seen the DNA results of lots of people who are at least as dark as Doria, and yet their Sub-Saharan Africa percentage is less than fifty. Meghan could be no more than 25% in my estimation. I'm curious as to the rest of Doria's ethnicity because her features and physicality are so unusual.

My Son is now 31 years old and is a very accomplished Lawyer who graduated from an Ivey League Law School. William lost his mother too but William is not using it as an excuse. Harry is a spoilt privileged brat still complaining why daddy won't pay his his bills.

Meghan said something about the only title that mattered was 'mom' - or words to that effect. If this is the case, then why on earth did she put on record and blast out to the world that Archie was denigrated by his father's family before he was even born, and that they weren't concerned about his safety? Archie won't always be a baby, and even as an adult, this will hurt him on both a personal level and because everyone will know his story. This isn't good parenting: it's using a child to further your own agenda. If Archie grows into an astute man, he will know this, too.
Harry and Meghan go on and on about wanting privacy for themselves and their son. Privacy isn't all about taking photos: it's about words too. A thousand photos of an innocent baby will never hurt but just a few words can cause lasting pain.
I just wonder at these two thinking for a moment that they are the right people to advocate for mental health. They haven't a clue.

The difference is this afternoon Catherine arrived at the shrine to Sarah Everard dressed in jeans, a green jacket and her hair down with barely any make up. She arrived with no fanfare, walked among the mourners, left flowers and left. No one seemed to recognise her and there was no fanfare or fuss at all. Contrast with what Meghan would do - she'd make sure she was photographed in full make up, make a fuss about her arrival and go around hugging everyone .
Catherine is a genuine person, who has been slighted because of Meghan. The only person like Princess Diana is Catherine. Meghan can copy Diana as much as she likes, but Catherine is the genuine one.
No doubt this would cause Meghan to say that Catherine did it and received praise but if she did it, she'd get criticism. The difference is that, as you say, no one seemed to recognise her - even I didn't. She looked like a normal person on the street. Clearly one person did and used his or her phone to video her but she appears to have realised it, didn't turn so her full face could be seen and then quickly disappeared up the street, away from where the flowers were being laid.

I worked at the Royal Marsden Hospital for a couple of years. Diana used to slip in, in her jeans, and sit with, and talk to, patients. It wasn't publicised and it was genuine. I can see the same realness in Kate, which is what the Royal Family are about, not Celebrity babble and publicity.

In the UK the Commonwealth is part of our family, we may not visit each other but we gather for the Commonwealth Games every few years, which I always look forward to. Angela Levin's interview of March 8, 2021 hit the nail on the head where she explains that there have been many in the Royal Family that have been provided whatever professional mental health help they require...Harry included. Being an American, I do NOT understand Meghan's "cry for help" being denied when her husband obviously knows the people that helped him and could do the same for her.
If Rachel had requested help from a Dr she would have offered help immediately. Of course the route she says she took provides no proof so she can play on her mental health. She has shown emails to her friend but in this day and age emails can be tampered with. Rachel's good at giving private information to friends. 🙄

Race, mental health etc are the hot topics today that can destroy someone if you go against the narrative. Precisely! I had a feeling she would play a race card and mental health card - and she did. I am not surprised by her, she is incredibly transparent in her character and ambition. But Harry... to go as far as to allow her to rip into his family, into his elderly grandparents.... I find that shocking.
There was a horrible cartoon of the Queen on the front cover of the French satirical magazine, Charlie Hebdo. It depicted her kneeling with a gleeful expression, on Meghan's neck. The intention was to bring George Floyd to mind. If Harry every gets his brain and his soul back, this is what he's going to have face up to having helped create. His family being denigrated; his sister-in-law needing security; his grandmother being humilated on the front cover of a magazine and aspersions being cast on his entire family. And that's just the immediate, central effects - we don't know the extent of the fallout yet or the harm that may come from it. Add to that the hurt he caused the people of the UK, regardless of their race, colour or creed. He's not just used his own family to further his personal goals but also the people he's claiming to want to serve - having only ever 'stepped back'.
He's still young, but if Meghan moves on, as she surely will, he will be left with all this damage sitting squarely on his shoulders. Maybe it will be too late for him to realise that it doesn't matter how many bathrooms you've got in your mansion if you can't look at your own face in the mirror.

There was an interview with Harry long ago by a Ms.Levin in which the young prince came across most beautifully & was far, far different from the person he is now. He has radically changed in a most negative way after his marriage to Ms. Markle and being separated from his family and his country. He is redeemable. All he needs is a loving, kind wife and to return to his family. He is not very strong emotionally or the brightest bulb and his present wife has all the qualities of a monster who will throw him to the wolves if and when it suits her. I listen to his old mates who really loved him for his empathy, good humour and trust - they cannot believe it's the same prince they once knew.

The only great grandchildren with a title at all are William's children, because William is the direct heir. Her mother is a certified mental health worker and Harry underwent years of therapy, so help was there. 4 she said Catherine and the Royal family didn’t welcome her....In her engagement video she said Catherine had been very welcoming and the Royal Family were like the family she never had. 5. The accusation of racism....I’ll refer you to the previous answer. The Royal Family were like the family she never had, and Charles was the one who asked the gospel choir to the wedding. He has since kept in touch checking how the choir are doing. 6. Her passport was taken away and she couldn’t travel....She travelled abroad for her baby shower and to meet friends at an upmarket eatery...7. Archie didn’t get a title because of his race.....Only the first son of the Prince of Wales, children are entitled to the title Prince/Princess. Harry is the second son so Archie isn’t entitled. The statute for who gets what was written over One hundred years ago and is not up for debate. Archie will get a title when Charles is King.....This wasn’t in the interview but it’s either 9 or 10 of her staff who have left in quick succession, which goes toward her character and belies her victim narrative. This is now under investigation. I don’t read the papers, but do research things. What I’ve stated is readily available online.

Look I’m American and can’t stand those two. From the very beginning she seemed very disingenuous to me. Plus Harry's heritage has often been in question and he's grown up with that.

Part of the problem I believe is nothing to do. You can't exactly get a job stacking shelves in LIDL? However with technology nowadays ie being able to work online and with other Grandchildren making a living in a variety of ways, I don't think it will be such a problem with the Archies generation.

What is annoying me to no end is this notion that we have to like her because she is black. Ethnicity should never be the factor to determine if you like a person or not. That is removing from a person their individuality and personality and reducing them to being ,in her case, a black person and nothing more. Reminds me very closely of what slavery was.

A person's colour, ethnicity should never be the primary , the fundamental reason for anyone to be appraised by others. In Meghan's case, because she is such a public figure claiming racism right and left every time there is a criticism of her, we have to like her, period. Because if we don't we are deemed racists.
This dynamic from the couple , the social media and the tabloids takes away from this woman her personality, her individuality, her actions, her character, her behaviours and any responsibility she has for herself and said actions and behaviours.
This is dangerous because it reminisces of what black slavery meant, some people judged others by the colour of their skin, they declared them to be sub human and to be like any other animal that could be chained, sold, used, their human identities and individuality ignored, just because they were black. This is what p****s me off most of all and this debacle was caused by this woman and her husband and seconded by millions of people without a second thought on what it means.

My comment is more on the reactions this interview is causing all over the world and how you can't even say anything about it because you either agree and are pro Meghan or you are called a racist. I grew up being told that race is not and should not be a factor to decided by opinion of another person, yet this is what the world media and public opinion tells me now, I have to be pro Meghan and to like her because poor Meghan is black. Yes, when I have been calling MM a liar I'm immediately called a racist. Even a conversation with my son, he said "you do realise she's of colour mum". Yes I do realise that but does that mean I can't call out her lies, does that mean I have to like her? " it's infuriating to say the least.

I think also it will be a heavy burden Maghan has brought upon her own shoulders, that will most likely backfire her family in the following years. Apparently she asked the Q for a wing in Windsor castle, she probably said she'd feel happier, safer at Windsor. The Q said no to the wing but found and updated property within the grounds. Frogmore cottage would be a dream come true for me. Frogmore house is where Queen Charlotte lived, it's where h&m had their wedding reception. I think M thought she might get that, but didn't. The crown updated an apartment in Kensington ( not good enough) then frogmore cottage was completely gutted, still not good enough.🙄

Alan You have hit the nail on the proverbial head. I had no idea just how many money making ventures she has tapped as a duchess until recently. It's interesting to note ,however, none of them seem to last for long just like all her relationships. People keep using the word narcissist with her name. I think its possible that may be very close to it. Mental illness is horrendous, but the damage it does to others and the wake it leaves is really horrendous ,too. Seems the surrogate children will have just as tough a time as Harry in the future. I have a question. Since Meghan is only 25% or so 'of color', why does everyone need to refer to her as if she is 50% or more black? She is clearly more white than black. Furthermore, why should there never be any acceptance or 'celebration' in her white genetics? I have never been a racist and despise seeing it but Meghan, yeah, she hasn't experienced true racism in my opinion! I am getting rather fed up with having being white represented as something 'bad' in the media and it's a form of 'reverse' racism that is becoming acceptable. It's not! NO racism for any race is acceptable, and that includes towards whites.

@@jimmyH1986 While this has traditionally been true here in the (southern ) US, I feel that the culture in which one is raised is more important. Meghan was not raised among black people. Her mother was gone for most of her upbringing. I would say that culturally, Meghan is white, no matter what her DNA says. Thinking about what you said, now that many have had their DNA "done", people are astounded to find they have a part of one percent sub=Saharan African, a lot of people would have to change their racial classification according to the old "one drop rule."
I'm a mixed person and I'd say Doria is about 80 percent black and Meghan is about 40 percent black

I have seen the DNA results of lots of people who are at least as dark as Doria, and yet their Sub-Saharan Africa percentage is less than fifty. Meghan could be no more than 25% in my estimation. I'm curious as to the rest of Doria's ethnicity because her features and physicality are so unusual.
If I had not been told she is part black & I didn't know her I'd never take her for anything but white.
