I have to say the rdr2 community is the worst community you can be in. Doxxing, booting, stalking, griefing, etc etc. Maybe it’s different if you’re on the horse side of things on custom servers for PC, but otherwise it’s basically hell. I spent 5 years on RDR2 and the mental health toll it took was large.
RDO is garbo, yes, because Rockstar doesn't care. Custom servers are far more safe because they are ran by regular people. Mods & griefing aren't allowed. That is why many of us have moved from RDO to RedM, and why RedM has more players than RDO now.

Hey, I just wanted to say I completely understand. I've not played RDO for months, and have just joined the modded Rift server in the past few days and it is incredible. Everyone is lovely, there is no griefing, no pvp unless you consent, everyone is super lovely and kind, it's amazing. If you want to reignite your love for RDR2 and have a PC, I'd say definitely join :)
This video needs to reach more people. Too many people are so toxic in the sso community, theres many clubs that ive heard about addresses were leaked and its honestly awful. Like why would you want to do that, its not gonna help them its just going to spread. I love your videos and im so sorry for all that you've gone through. Your strong and ily ❤
I’ve been playing sso on and off for 8yrs at this point, started with starshine legacy, it is absolutely a comfort game for me. Although I see the problems with the marketing/development of the game and I don’t buy SC, but it is so devastating to hear that the community is so bad :(( I’ve only been in one club for some months and it was great, but other than that, I don’t even open the chat, I don’t have any online friends. Sometimes the game gets boring, I stop for some weeks and then I’m back. I couldn’t imagine what you talked about, the toxic dc servers and stuff😮 I’m so sorry you had these experiences and I feel like sso should pay attention more to these things (and a lot of other things of course)…but also I understand progressing from a childhood game :)

as a baby content creator i have begun to feel the stress and fear of cancel culture just as you spoke on. this community is one who can be more “throw daggers now, get the facts later” and i have seen this in action too many times to count. you truly never know what might set someone off and cause a domino effect. it is a quiet fear, but there nonetheless. lovely video, thanks for sharing your story.
i wish you well with your content creation! my biggest advice - don't get close to a lot of people too quickly. my biggest mistake was revealing person info to people i thought i could trust. content creation is such a tricky hill to climb, but it's definitely rewarding. i just wish many didn't have to be traumatized in the ways they were along the path, but i feel it's inevitable in this era of cancel culture and witch hunts. either way, your words mean a lot! you depicted the feeling very well
the sso community can be so rough it honestly doesn't feel like a community it feels more like a political nightmare. I still play but unfortunately don't talk to anyone which makes it super lonely. I've been in a club for a few years now and its 18+ but we all play other games whenever I log on its extremely rare that someone else in the club is on.

yeah, playing in swedish servers, I moved over to the only server that is very populated and wow, the ammount of innapropriate topics, drama, immature fighting, slurs, racism calling etc, that is happening in that server almost daily is sad to see, I try not to look at chat much cause of that but it usually happens later on in the night, as someone that has only played star stable on and off for some years I never saw this until moving to Air star. I had no idea star stable's community could even be like that.

i am more of a lone player on sso so not much hate around, hearing this it really does make a massive mark truly knowing how bad it was for you and im so sorry really is i have been playing for years and the amount of breaks i have taken is crazy its my childhood game and i cant seem to put it down just yet but overall the price is horrid on sso and some of the new updates its hard to get over LOL
yes same, the whole ui got me off the game for a long time, I just came back to the game, but I still never fully commit. I played sso for many years, it was a good game, but now it feels rather empty. I am also a lone player, I had a club once but I got kicked out because I didn't play the game.
Should name it Streak mark I will say from experience of toxic communities, I had grown to not get too invested in that, but at the same time, im talented at being blissfully unaware of drama. Sso kinda just died from being what it was once from 2013 to just this now and same goes to any community too so it can be quite weird going into a very happy supportive community then ones your used to, I am happy that you are doing what makes you happy and what your content will be. Keep being chaotic. This is the content I stand for.

I play Starstable for my own personal enjoyment, and Im saying this as a teenager. I don’t join clubs or engage in conversation with anyone, so I honestly had no idea this was going on. The internet sucks.
the part about clubs is SO TRUE I've been in one that had a full on dc server and it was CHAOS. we're talking drama with other clubs, leaked photos (one girl had her -private- photos leaked and shared with like 10 different clubs), 12 year olds catfishing people that they are older, rampant use and promotion of cheats, sharing insensitive topics such as depression (and pics) in general chats and let's not get into the nsfw channel they had.... i left after like a month bc i couldn't manage being in such a negative space (but i did meet my best friend through that club - we both left and never took part in the mentioned activities)
for my club i only add ppl i know irl and who i trust not just random people. And this has also explained to me more about clubs and im glad that u want to show people what really happens it helped me a lot and i support

i feel for the club one, ive been in so many toxic clubs and was always so scared to talk out about their behavior and clear lack of respect for other people because i knew itd be me against a whole group of people. i feel moving to rdr2 has brung me sm more comfort to speak out about the disrespect of people cause most the time it can be a friendly and understanding community.
I have been playing Star Stable Online since 2016, everything has changed and now I am currently moving on because it is just mainly made of drama. The online drama is upsetting. I ended up moving onto RRD2 due to the immaturity and drama I had gotten dragged into(mainly due to RDR2 being a dream game and having always been a dream game for me and ended up getting it for my birthday). Star Stable Online is currently changing and has a more fan base of children but the people who had started out in the beginning had been pushed away. But, I am pleased with how I now love a game!
this is how i’ve been feeling towards animal jam, it was my childhood game i played religiously, i came back to it recently and sure it was fun but it lost the sparkle of what it once was and i’m older so i see it differently, i see predatory marketing and a hollow community if you’re not a child, it’s all about worth, and buying the newest animal, clothing, den etc. it was fun as a child but it’s just not the same thing anymore and i’ve changed as well
star stable is a lot more childish now than before imo, i've lost interest for the game in recent years because it has become way too easy and the main story doesn't align anymore + the team has changed so much within the storyline etc, everything we old players have played through since the early days doesn't really matter anymore since it has changed to drastically. i like the game and i do play it still because of the comfort it gives me, but the main story quests never entertain me anymore and i really miss how the game was in like 2017-2018...it has lost its magic :(
I've *wanted* to play star stable since I was little and idk why but when I got a laptop at 14 I got the game, I quit soon after because I couldn't get star rider and had no intent in buying SC. Well after my free SR was gone and I have done all the quests I could have done without SR twice or more, I quit. It got really boring and there was only 1 person who was nice to me on the game and they were just a random person I met while waiting for a race. When my dad started dating my now step-mom her son (16 at the time) would play RDR and would let me watch so since then RDR became my new SS. I totally understand what you mean with someone yoinking your hard work that you were delibertly trying to be original. I do sometimes jump on SS for (idk why I just thought there'd be a reason but after trying to find it there wans't any reason) no reason. I also feel very odd that these clubs that seem profesional and well put together are like middle school friend groups. I think the way you put your content creation made so much sense. Your pints on the community is why I hang back when getting into new fandoms. Like the RedM server you’re playing on, I want to join but I’ve also been burned by communities I’ve been apart of in the past, so I’m hesitant.
Tbh I feel like SSO is now a pay to win only game, like, it's not like riding with friend and having fun no matter what horse you got, you just buy horses, buy tack, and that's it. I hear that clubs are often toxic and the players that can't spend money on the game don't get to do anyhing at all..? Plus the story isn't entertained, at one point you just get lost in the quest. That's my experience as an italian player, maybe the translations are bad, but the only that i appreciate about SSO is the graphics and the ideas for drawings thanks to the magical horses designs, nothing else

Like seriously most of these people in drama fights you'll see them sitting at Steves doing nothing. And most of the stuff they say is not even true about others. Like I guarentee you, get to know any of these "cancelled" people and they're just normal humans. I've been in an adult's-only club for 3 years and I refuse to ever join a "13+" club again. Teenagers are so toxic and I'm far into my 20s at this point, I don't have time for highschool drama anymore. I don't participate in this community hardly at all anymore because of how bad it has gotten. It's just frankly not worth the time or energy anymore. On the thing you said about people stealing your cinematic reels idea and not crediting you, I get that that sucks and everything, but you can't be upset with people for getting inspired by you! Just recording a video with reshade on and different effects is not hard to do, anyone can do it if they put the time in. And if they make that content all their own they don't need to credit you for it. That's the harsh truth. Imagine if artists who learned their style from other artists had to credit those artists every time they drew something. That would be rediculous. That reminds me when people told me that people were "stealing my training video idea". I first started making training video and talking type things (basically like a podcast) in 2016, but I never cared if other people wanted to do it because it was such easy content to produce and it was a great coping mechanism for me. So I actually encouraged others to make them since it was a good way to vent out frustrations about the game and also just talk about life and stuff. Now almost everybody does training videos! I encourage you to let go of people getting inspired by your ideas because if you post anything online, there will always be a person out there who will get inspired by it and create their own similar stuff. You have to expect these things on the internet and you simply can't control it. So it's better to embrace it! I am happy because now lots of people make content that I like, which is training videos, and I'm not the only one doing it anymore! So I have lots of stuff to watch and listen to.
I will miss you playing star stable and doing livestreams in star stable, but I respect your decision to leave star stable and started playing other horse games!

I was a beta tester for sso when the first testing came out. And up until them, I backed SSO and the community. However, after I (and other beta testers) got ganged up upon, bullied and ridiculed by the ambassadors and even (have to say allegedly), SSO staff themselves, I lost complete interest. And now? They're in a (again alleged) court case. I don't blame you for leaving, at all.
the discords.. its just so insane to me that people can be so cruel to others. i’ve seen people quit over being terrified about their addresses being leaked.
I used to play SSO all the time, buying, training, and enjoying being around my online friends. I used to be in a lot of toxic clubs, and yeah, you are totally right about how they *ARE* cult-like! I used to get accused of trying to upstage the freaking OWNER of the club because I had all my horses maxed and I would buy new horses, max them and just be there for club meets! The toxic jealousy was so undeniably petty and selfish for no reason. I was twelve being accused of cheating and trying to backstab my club mates, while they were easily high schoolers or older than that. Moral of the story, I cant stand playing SSO now because of people. If there was an option to play open world by myself, just me and NPC's I would DEFINATELY be playing more.
I feel this club thing so much 😂 Im in a group of leaders and its mostly like: "look how many ppl want to us, look how fame we are". But Im so happy I created my club 5 years ago. Its not toxic, nobody is shit talking and were sitting together in calls and have a great time. Not only in sso, also outside. And were not like 5 friends doing a club together. One of our latest videos on tiktok got 9k views in a short time. But what I love on the whole Situation is that the new ppl who are comming in are getting into the family and next year we plan do go on vacation together. Thats just a good example. But also were not in this whole competition from ssd. I dont like the pressure some clubs have from this. I want to spend nice time with my friends... But a ton of clubs are really really toxic tho...
For you, I have really no idea who you are. I've heard you mentioned on Rattle's channel a lot, I know you're a horse gamer, I know what Star Stable is. But thats about it. I tried to play Star Stable once and got softlocked inside the beginner stable and just never went back because no thanks. But I understand everything you've said about community. It's... it's really bad now. The online world is just horrible, which sucks. Because it taints all the good old memories of community we grew up with. You're not allowed to just be yourself anymore, you always have to act and play a role to seem "perfect and unproblematic" and still get bullied by strangers and friends alike. It's exhausting and tedious. I'm glad I made the friends I did before the internet turned sour, because they're still my best friends and the most level headed people I know. I wish you luck on your future endeavors.

I miss when RDR 2 was in the beginning stages when we had the best outlaw passes and they would come out with them regularly. I’m level 400+ once you have everything in the game it just goes downhill. It use to be the best game. 😢 I do love SSO though now. I just play alone and don’t talk to anyone. I have a small group of adult players I play with.
I feel bad for any kid that gets into sso it ruined me as a teen the community is so toxic I thought warzone was bad nope star stables worse I had major anxiety and depression issues during my time in star stable it got so bad I was having panic attacks due to the stress of the community in general being scared of what to post on Instagram or any social media platform about sso the sso community is the worst community! I haven't played in almost a year I'm currently turning 17 this year I feel free which is sad to say I spent over 1,000 dollars on that game for nothing a game that caused issues with my health If you're going to play sso be safe and I wish you the best

SSO is literally what I remember the best of my childhood. Like now it feels like a different game. Maybe I'll miss my childhood SSO but not the 2024 one. 😅
Honestly thinking about joining the graphics look great and my pc could probably handle it , I didn't realise it had horse training. I always avoided it not because I can't handle gore but I haven't been in the mindset to play it , If you have any suggestions that would be great
@@hansololouise So RDO online doesn't have that, but she's currently playing a redM server. Most of them are roleplay based so you will be making a character and playing as them while you're in. Some servers or "counties" may be more serious than others but there's a good amount of beginner friendly servers out there! As long as you play a civvy type horse trainer, you shouldn't see much gore or violence (and if there is any violence, you have the ability to flee the scene.) Many servers are also 18+ due to the game already being for mature audiences, so that's also something to keep in mind.
I totally get where you're coming about stolen ideas and the community. I can understand people taking inspiration bc I feel like that's the point of making art but sometimes it's so blatant esp when the content is original. ngl, I'm afraid of the community and sometimes I feel bad for feeling way feel like I should connect more but I've also been in clubs - one was a SSD registered comp club and wow they were aggressive against other clubs/players and didn't treat their members fairly. I lasted like a week before saying bye this isn't my vibe. After experiencing things like that it's hard to trust and it's nice to hear someone else talk about it bc I feel less mean for fbeing a bit more guarded. I love making content and really enjoy the creative freedom that sso offers, for the most part people have been wonderful but I do try to keep myself at more of distance I'm glad that you've found another game that brings you joy and a community that feels safe and welcoming. I love seeing how much fun you're having in your new videos and I wanna say well done for doing what felt right to you. I can't imagine how hard it must have been walking away from something you had been working on for so long and it comes through your new content that you made the right decision 🌸
The only time i ever get on sso anymore is when there is new horses. Its not the same anymore now im not saying oh i miss the old sso only, they have improved but removing stuff that didnt need to be removed. Raising prices and like you stated the marketing strategies. Its just not the same sso community i grew up with and has become so much more toxic and unsafe in a way. They arent acknowledhing that really either and takes years for them to do small things that are requested. I know coding and designing takes time and resources but for exsample it took how long for them to come out with the wild horse thing when old sso players were begging for it for years then new ones come in and start asking and its instantly added, im not hating on the new players either and maybe the old sso couldnt support the mechanics its just frustrating in a way. Feels like older players kinda get ignored im not so much into the community anymore i dont keep up on it really. So maybe thats just a me thing.

It sucks when people put so much time, effort and work into a vid only to see someone pretty much copy it and that video go top with high views all cuz it's by a more known youtuber. TBH, I love ya MC and RedM vids, as someone who also grew up with SSO and have slowly falling out of the game due to lost friends no longer playing, ect, it's nice finding someone who does still make content that's fun to watch linked to stuff with horses and horse games. the redm server i play, the rift, has barely any pvp unless consensual and not a lot of blood/gore :) but a warning, red dead in general can be a graphic game so you sorta have to accept that whilst it has good horse stuff, it's not reliable for just horses
i play sso still, and have done since it came out in 2011. i used to LOVE sso when i was younger, and whenever there was a double star coins weekend i would always beg my dad to buy some for me. however, as i've gotten older, i've found myself drifting away from the game a little bit more. i don't ask for sc anymore, purely because i don't need them - yes i still play, but i do not play for long durations everyday like i used to do. i'm older and i don't really have the time for it anymore. i'm desperate to try rdr2 because that's my type of game and it seems so cool (i've never played it before), and the graphics are far better than sso. sso - for me - is, like you said, a childhood game. i want to leave before my opinion on it sours too much, and i forget all of the good memories and the friends i've made on that game, but right now i'm just waiting for money so that i can buy rdr2 as a "replacement", for lack of a better word.

If I were to purchase RDR2 from somewhere on your link, what would you recommend? I want to focus on the horse riding and care aspect, but I'm also huge on exploration and goals, so questing is also a must. I see a lot of options there, that's why I ask. Also, maybe I'm just being paranoid but... what's the catch? Why are the games discounted?
This is a horse glitch, if its neck is like snapped backwards a little. Flee it and bring it back. Horses run differently if they're low energy but they're either alive and happy, alive and tired......or dead.
I've never played star stable, but you definitely got me more interested in horse games lol and specifically the red dead group. I haven't downloaded the mods yet cuz I'll need my boyfriends help ahaha.

Star stable tbh the community sucks it can be great the only reason why I still play I enjoy it, the horses are good and I don’t talk to people online all I do is rp with my best friend. I also take brakes when I need too. I been playing for 5 years I don’t know if it just because of that or what.

when i say straight up bullied i just mean unprovoked rudeness about my character and what I’m doing on the game, its just so uncalled for. I’ve been in numerous clubs and watched people do the same thing in events and stuff. i’ve been playing video games since i was a kid and these are the types of players that cause me to distance myself so far from the gaming community. i know there will be people like this in all walks of life, its just a shame star stable, a game that so many people grew up with, has turned into this. its not hard to be nice to people, i don’t get why others find it so difficult

I still play sso but not everyday, sso has changed through the years I only started playing 4 years ago but I watched alot of sso videos so I know what old sso was like, I wasn't able to play is for many years. I think I will stop eventually because of how to game has changed. And other games I've started playing are mobile games that cause me alot of stress 🤣

i've been playing starstable since i was 11 . with a break of 4/5 years i think . ive been playing on rift for 9 months now i think and it doesnt compare . Sso community is so toxic , everyone s so mean and nobody wants to help with anything but make fun of ppl and say harsh words. On rift ive found LOTS of nice , caring people and im so so so happy about it . I like SSO it is a nice quirt game to play when I'm not in the mood to think, I don't really care about some of the stuff SSO has done, at the end of the day just a game, It's the players I don't like, I would like SSO to make add a setting to turn off all players so it looks like your playing a solo game, I tried once blocking everyone I saw to see what would happen but you block list has a max, i think it was like 50 or 100 but i found it anoying, I keep asking SSO to add the setting maybe one day they will, I know we can mute the chat and mute other still like Friend inviets and stuff, but you have to do them setting EVERY tie you log in it's anoying,

I have to say the rdr2 community is the worst community you can be in. Doxxing, booting, stalking, griefing, etc etc. Maybe it’s different if you’re on the horse side of things on custom servers for PC, but otherwise it’s basically hell. I spent 5 years on RDR2 and the mental health toll it took was large.
RDO is garbo, yes, because Rockstar doesn't care.
Custom servers are far more safe because they are ran by regular people.
Mods & griefing aren't allowed. That is why many of us have moved from RDO to RedM, and why RedM has more players than RDO now.
If a game takes a "mental health toll" on you because of its players, maybe don't play it? 😅
I think the private/modded servers like what she's playing on have their own community which is a lot less toxic.

Hey, I just wanted to say I completely understand. I've not played RDO for months, and have just joined the modded Rift server in the past few days and it is incredible. Everyone is lovely, there is no griefing, no pvp unless you consent, everyone is super lovely and kind, it's amazing. If you want to reignite your love for RDR2 and have a PC, I'd say definitely join :)
This video needs to reach more people. Too many people are so toxic in the sso community, theres many clubs that ive heard about addresses were leaked and its honestly awful. I’ve been playing sso on and off for 8yrs at this point, started with starshine legacy, it is absolutely a comfort game for me. Although I see the problems with the marketing/development of the game and I don’t buy SC, but it is so devastating to hear that the community is so bad :(( I’ve only been in one club for some months and it was great, but other than that, I don’t even open the chat, I don’t have any online friends. Sometimes the game gets boring, I stop for some weeks and then I’m back.

I've been in a club for a few years now and its 18+ but we all play other games whenever I log on its extremely rare that someone else in the club is on.

yeah, playing in swedish servers, I moved over to the only server that is very populated and wow, the ammount of innapropriate topics, drama, immature fighting, slurs, racism calling etc, that is happening in that server almost daily is sad to see, I try not to look at chat much cause of that but it usually happens later on in the night, as someone that has only played star stable on and off for some years I never saw this until moving to Air star. I had no idea star stable's community could even be like that.

i am more of a lone player on sso so not much hate around, hearing this it really does make a massive mark truly knowing how bad it was for you and im so sorry really is i have been playing for years and the amount of breaks i have taken is crazy its my childhood game and i cant seem to put it down just yet but overall the price is horrid on sso and some of the new updates its hard to get over LOL
yes same, the whole ui got me off the game for a long time, I just came back to the game, but I still never fully commit. I played sso for many years, it was a good game, but now it feels rather empty. I am also a lone player, I had a club once but I got kicked out because I didn't play the game.

I will say from experience of toxic communities, I had grown to not get too invested in that, but at the same time, im talented at being blissfully unaware of drama. Sso kinda just died from being what it was once from 2013 to just this now and same goes to any community too so it can be quite weird going into a very happy supportive community then ones your used to, I am happy that you are doing what makes you happy and what your content will be. Keep being chaotic. This is the content I stand for.

I play Starstable for my own personal enjoyment, and Im saying this as a teenager. I don’t join clubs or engage in conversation with anyone, so I honestly had no idea this was going on. The internet sucks.
the part about clubs is SO TRUE I've been in one that had a full on dc server and it was CHAOS. we're talking drama with other clubs, leaked photos (one girl had her -private- photos leaked and shared with like 10 different clubs), 12 year olds catfishing people that they are older, rampant use and promotion of cheats, sharing insensitive topics such as depression (and pics) in general chats and let's not get into the nsfw channel they had.... i left after like a month bc i couldn't manage being in such a negative space (but i did meet my best friend through that club - we both left and never took part in the mentioned activities)

i feel for the club one, ive been in so many toxic clubs and was always so scared to talk out about their behavior and clear lack of respect for other people because i knew itd be me against a whole group of people. i feel moving to rdr2 has brung me sm more comfort to speak out about the disrespect of people cause most the time it can be a friendly and understanding community.
I have been playing Star Stable Online since 2016, everything has changed and now I am currently moving on because it is just mainly made of drama. The online drama is upsetting. I ended up moving onto RRD2 due to the immaturity and drama I had gotten dragged into(mainly due to RDR2 being a dream game and having always been a dream game for me and ended up getting it for my birthday). Star Stable Online is currently changing and has a more fan base of children but the people who had started out in the beginning had been pushed away. But, I am pleased with how I now love a game!
this is how i’ve been feeling towards animal jam, it was my childhood game i played religiously, i came back to it recently and sure it was fun but it lost the sparkle of what it once was and i’m older so i see it differently, i see predatory marketing and a hollow community if you’re not a child, it’s all about worth, and buying the newest animal, clothing, den etc. it was fun as a child but it’s just not the same thing anymore and i’ve changed as well
star stable is a lot more childish now than before imo, i've lost interest for the game in recent years because it has become way too easy and the main story doesn't align anymore + the team has changed so much within the storyline etc, everything we old players have played through since the early days doesn't really matter anymore since it has changed to drastically. i like the game and i do play it still because of the comfort it gives me, but the main story quests never entertain me anymore and i really miss how the game was in like 2017-2018...it has lost its magic :(
I've *wanted* to play star stable since I was little and idk why but when I got a laptop at 14 I got the game, I quit soon after because I couldn't get star rider and had no intent in buying SC. Well after my free SR was gone and I have done all the quests I could have done without SR twice or more, I quit. It got really boring and there was only 1 person who was nice to me on the game and they were just a random person I met while waiting for a race. When my dad started dating my now step-mom her son (16 at the time) would play RDR and would let me watch so since then RDR became my new SS. I totally understand what you mean with someone yoinking your hard work that you were delibertly trying to be original. I do sometimes jump on SS for (idk why I just thought there'd be a reason but after trying to find it there wans't any reason) no reason. I also feel very odd that these clubs that seem profesional and well put together are like middle school friend groups. I think the way you put your content creation made so much sense. Your pints on the community is why I hang back when getting into new fandoms. Like the RedM server you’re playing on, I want to join but I’ve also been burned by communities I’ve been apart of in the past, so I’m hesitant.
Tbh I feel like SSO is now a pay to win only game, like, it's not like riding with friend and having fun no matter what horse you got, you just buy horses, buy tack, and that's it. I hear that clubs are often toxic and the players that can't spend money on the game don't get to do anyhing at all..? Plus the story isn't entertained, at one point you just get lost in the quest. That's my experience as an italian player, maybe the translations are bad, but the only that i appreciate about SSO is the graphics and the ideas for drawings thanks to the magical horses designs, nothing else

Teenagers are so toxic and I'm far into my 20s at this point, I don't have time for highschool drama anymore. I don't participate in this community hardly at all anymore because of how bad it has gotten. It's just frankly not worth the time or energy anymore.
On the thing you said about people stealing your cinematic reels idea and not crediting you, I get that that sucks and everything, but you can't be upset with people for getting inspired by you! Just recording a video with reshade on and different effects is not hard to do, anyone can do it if they put the time in. And if they make that content all their own they don't need to credit you for it. That's the harsh truth. Imagine if artists who learned their style from other artists had to credit those artists every time they drew something. That would be rediculous.
That reminds me when people told me that people were "stealing my training video idea". I first started making training video and talking type things (basically like a podcast) in 2016, but I never cared if other people wanted to do it because it was such easy content to produce and it was a great coping mechanism for me. So I actually encouraged others to make them since it was a good way to vent out frustrations about the game and also just talk about life and stuff. Now almost everybody does training videos!
I encourage you to let go of people getting inspired by your ideas because if you post anything online, there will always be a person out there who will get inspired by it and create their own similar stuff. You have to expect these things on the internet and you simply can't control it. So it's better to embrace it! I am happy because now lots of people make content that I like, which is training videos, and I'm not the only one doing it anymore! So I have lots of stuff to watch and listen to.
I will miss you playing star stable and doing livestreams in star stable, but I respect your decision to leave star stable and started playing other horse games!

I was a beta tester for sso when the first testing came out. And up until them, I backed SSO and the community. However, after I (and other beta testers) got ganged up upon, bullied and ridiculed by the ambassadors and even (have to say allegedly), SSO staff themselves, I lost complete interest. And now? They're in a (again alleged) court case. I don't blame you for leaving, at all.

I used to play SSO all the time, buying, training, and enjoying being around my online friends. I used to be in a lot of toxic clubs, and yeah, you are totally right about how they *ARE* cult-like! I used to get accused of trying to upstage the freaking OWNER of the club because I had all my horses maxed and I would buy new horses, max them and just be there for club meets! The toxic jealousy was so undeniably petty and selfish for no reason. I was twelve being accused of cheating and trying to backstab my club mates, while they were easily high schoolers or older than that. Moral of the story, I cant stand playing SSO now because of people. If there was an option to play open world by myself, just me and NPC's I would DEFINATELY be playing more.

Im in a group of leaders and its mostly like: "look how many ppl want to us, look how fame we are". But Im so happy I created my club 5 years ago. Its not toxic, nobody is shit talking and were sitting together in calls and have a great time. Not only in sso, also outside. And were not like 5 friends doing a club together. One of our latest videos on tiktok got 9k views in a short time. But what I love on the whole Situation is that the new ppl who are comming in are getting into the family and next year we plan do go on vacation together. Thats just a good example. But also were not in this whole competition from ssd. I dont like the pressure some clubs have from this. I want to spend nice time with my friends...

For you, I have really no idea who you are. I've heard you mentioned on Rattle's channel a lot, I know you're a horse gamer, I know what Star Stable is. But thats about it. I tried to play Star Stable once and got softlocked inside the beginner stable and just never went back because no thanks.
But I understand everything you've said about community. It's... it's really bad now. The online world is just horrible, which sucks. Because it taints all the good old memories of community we grew up with. You're not allowed to just be yourself anymore, you always have to act and play a role to seem "perfect and unproblematic" and still get bullied by strangers and friends alike. It's exhausting and tedious. I'm glad I made the friends I did before the internet turned sour, because they're still my best friends and the most level headed people I know. I miss when RDR 2 was in the beginning stages when we had the best outlaw passes and they would come out with them regularly. I’m level 400+ once you have everything in the game it just goes downhill. It use to be the best game. 😢 I do love SSO though now. I just play alone and don’t talk to anyone. @@hansololouise So RDO online doesn't have that, but she's currently playing a redM server. Most of them are roleplay based so you will be making a character and playing as them while you're in. Some servers or "counties" may be more serious than others but there's a good amount of beginner friendly servers out there! As long as you play a civvy type horse trainer, you shouldn't see much gore or violence (and if there is any violence, you have the ability to flee the scene.) Many servers are also 18+ due to the game already being for mature audiences, so that's also something to keep in mind.
I totally get where you're coming about stolen ideas and the community. I can understand people taking inspiration bc I feel like that's the point of making art but sometimes it's so blatant esp when the content is original. ngl, I'm afraid of the community and sometimes I feel bad for feeling way feel like I should connect more but I've also been in clubs - one was a SSD registered comp club and wow they were aggressive against other clubs/players and didn't treat their members fairly. I lasted like a week before saying bye this isn't my vibe. After experiencing things like that it's hard to trust and it's nice to hear someone else talk about it bc I feel less mean for fbeing a bit more guarded. I love making content and really enjoy the creative freedom that sso offers, for the most part people have been wonderful but I do try to keep myself at more of distance

The only time i ever get on sso anymore is when there is new horses. Its not the same anymore now im not saying oh i miss the old sso only, they have improved but removing stuff that didnt need to be removed. Raising prices and like you stated the marketing strategies. Its just not the same sso community i grew up with and has become so much more toxic and unsafe in a way. They arent acknowledhing that really either and takes years for them to do small things that are requested. I know coding and designing takes time and resources but for exsample it took how long for them to come out with the wild horse thing when old sso players were begging for it for years then new ones come in and start asking and its instantly added, im not hating on the new players either and maybe the old sso couldnt support the mechanics its just frustrating in a way. Feels like older players kinda get ignored im not so much into the community anymore i dont keep up on it really. So maybe thats just a me thing.

It sucks when people put so much time, effort and work into a vid only to see someone pretty much copy it and that video go top with high views all cuz it's by a more known youtuber. TBH, I love ya MC and RedM vids, as someone who also grew up with SSO and have slowly falling out of the game due to lost friends no longer playing, ect, it's nice finding someone who does still make content that's fun to watch linked to stuff with horses and horse games.

the redm server i play, the rift, has barely any pvp unless consensual and not a lot of blood/gore :)
but a warning, red dead in general can be a graphic game so you sorta have to accept that whilst it has good horse stuff, it's not reliable for just horses

i play sso still, and have done since it came out in 2011. i used to LOVE sso when i was younger, and whenever there was a double star coins weekend i would always beg my dad to buy some for me. however, as i've gotten older, i've found myself drifting away from the game a little bit more. i don't ask for sc anymore, purely because i don't need them - yes i still play, but i do not play for long durations everyday like i used to do. i'm older and i don't really have the time for it anymore. i'm desperate to try rdr2 because that's my type of game and it seems so cool (i've never played it before), and the graphics are far better than sso. sso - for me - is, like you said, a childhood game. i want to leave before my opinion on it sours too much, and i forget all of the good memories and the friends i've made on that game, but right now i'm just waiting for money so that i can buy rdr2 as a "replacement", for lack of a better word.

Star stable tbh the community sucks it can be great the only reason why I still play I enjoy it, the horses are good and I don’t talk to people online all I do is rp with my best friend. I also take brakes when I need too. I been playing for 5 years I don’t know if it just because of that or what.

i don’t blame you for leaving sso, the community is so incredibly toxic. i’m 18 and play the game to have some cute horse game fun and the amount of times i have been straight up bullied by teenagers and young adults in game who are so disrespectful and rude it blows my mind. now i just log in to see updates and play around w horses for funsies lol i never check the chat or interact because all i see is negativity. thankyou for telling everyone about your experiences with it, its nice to know not every gaming community is as turbulent as the sso community
when i say straight up bullied i just mean unprovoked rudeness about my character and what I’m doing on the game, its just so uncalled for. I’ve been in numerous clubs and watched people do the same thing in events and stuff. i’ve been playing video games since i was a kid and these are the types of players that cause me to distance myself so far from the gaming community. i know there will be people like this in all walks of life, its just a shame star stable, a game that so many people grew up with, has turned into this. its not hard to be nice to people, i don’t get why others find it so difficult

This is not related to sso at all but how is your game set up like this? Like training horses, the bridles etc in rdr2? I assume mods but I would love a video on this.
I still play sso but not everyday, sso has changed through the years I only started playing 4 years ago but I watched alot of sso videos so I know what old sso was like, I wasn't able to play is for many years. I think I will stop eventually because of how to game has changed. And other games I've started playing are mobile games that cause me alot of stress 🤣

i've been playing starstable since i was 11 . with a break of 4/5 years i think . ive been playing on rift for 9 months now i think and it doesnt compare . Sso community is so toxic , everyone s so mean and nobody wants to help with anything but make fun of ppl and say harsh words. On rift ive found LOTS of nice , caring people and im so so so happy about it .

I like SSO it is a nice quirt game to play when I'm not in the mood to think, I don't really care about some of the stuff SSO has done, at the end of the day just a game, It's the players I don't like, I would like SSO to make add a setting to turn off all players so it looks like your playing a solo game,
I tried once blocking everyone I saw to see what would happen but you block list has a max, i think it was like 50 or 100 but i found it anoying, I keep asking SSO to add the setting maybe one day they will,
I know we can mute the chat and mute other still like Friend inviets and stuff, but you have to do them setting EVERY tie you log in it's anoying,
Thats why I treat Star stable as a single player game. No groups no clubs no drama
