These 2 brought back what the Celtics are all about. Since 2008 it has been a joy, pain and privilege to watch.
Definitely agree with Paul on 13:17 the presence of the older players always motivates the young ones especially with this group. They need those moments.

@@kanajingly8957 The beef with Ray has been squashed. #20 is going to be retired eventually for him. He was a huge part of those squads and low key should have won Finals MVP in 2008.
As a Celtic fan for over 40yrs...I NEEDED THIS🍀❤💯. The Ticket and The Truth coming home to embrace the culture of THIS generation was 🔥..I remember when the C's tried to trade for KG in 2006/07 and he would NOT waive his trade exception to come here (we were one of the worst teams in the league that year)..that off season we drafted Jeff Green and immediately traded him for Ray Allen, went back to the table with Minnesota over the summer..he spoke with Paul & Ray and agreed to the trade..I knew that day (when they introduced all 3 at a press conference) and KG kept looking down at his jersey smiling..that the "energy was about to shift" (JB) and it did..which is why KG holds the C's closer to his heart than "Sota"..even though he played most of his years with the Wolves..he got inducted as a Celtic, because of experience with the organization, (plus "Sota" did him wrong, during..after..and his comeback, they made promises that they never intended to keep)..his number is retired in the Bean (No# 5)..but No#21 is NOT retired in Minnesota.
KG and P - you left a great mark on that franchise and this city. Love to you.
NBA fans must understand that the Celtics and the Lakers are on a whole different level than any other team. Lot of history, titles, legends who played on these teams. They are the teams that saved the NBA during the 80's and brought the interset back in 2008 when they met in the finals again. Their rivalry is one of the greatest in american sports. They not only belong in the NBA, they are the NBA. Even though i am a Bulls fan, i have huge respect for these franchises.
As a C’s fan and fan of KG & Pierce…this is gold content.

As a C's fan, this made me smile. I've watched the C's since I was little and you would always see former players in the stands. Pierce is right, it's important to carry on that legacy. This year's team reminds me of 08 and 86 when your teams were stacked. Hopefully, we can raise that trophy this year. They could use a little fiery peptalk from Garnett.

Paul Pierce is the reason why I started watching the Celtics. Yes I hopped on the bandwagon in 07-08, but I was 7 or 8 years old😂 I was young, dont give me crap🤣 but I loved the C’s ever since then. Lets go C’s!!!!!

The Truth speaking the Truth here! He is absolutely correct that they need to be around alot more! Really hope to see KG around more along with Ray and Rondo as well! Don't really think they realize how big of a footprint they have left on the organization and how much of an impact just their presence can be for this still very young team! Just gotta think JT is only 24 yrs old and JB is only 25 yrs old those guys was kids and grew up watching KG, Pierce and Ray! I remember watching them win it in 2008 and KG hugging Bill telling him I got one of my own! Just hope to see JT and JB hugging KG and Pierce after they win it all!
This 08 Celtics Team and what came after till they were done showed me so many great things in Life. The Attitude and what it means to give it all for a common goal. True Team Spirit and will forever be my favourite Squad when it comes to Basketball. Especially KG and his whole personality helped me a lot in my Day to Day Life.
I love seeing the OG's comeback to where it basically all started. The memories, classics, history, and just taking it all in...and the fact they get to get with the now and future of the league is so dope.

The best!! Straight up. So hype watching this. Being born in Boston. Knowing about the traditions being a Celtic fans since I knew my own name. Then seeing my favorite player to be Larry Bird. And then KG came out became a Celtic and blead green like me. To see him go back and take that position Paul as well. They are the new Bill Russell's walking around that place and that's who they need to be Paul was exactly right. Cannot wait to see the people who helped build this new generation keep giving back like this and lifting up the players. Banner 18 let's go. Love you KG love you Paul

love it. just watched this today 4/15/23...as a Celtics fan, I ALWAYS want to see these 2 Celtics greats wherever they are at and on whatever shows. They are just 2 of the greatest to every play the game. Garnett, from watching the games and going to Celtics games, this guys should command everyone's respects, because he ALWAYS put 110% efforts night in and night out. I wish we had him way before. and Paul, he is truly the truth. a fantastic facilitator, superb IQ; creates his own shot; and dominates games. I'd trust Paul to take the last shot on any tie games, with 2 seconds left in the 4th quarter to win the game, over Lebron anytime. Danny Ainge also deserved some credit for putting that squad together. I'd love to see them come back again and bring Rondo as and Ray.

It's good to see Paul and KG go back to Celtics facility and talk to the players and coaches but I think they should have did that last year when they made the finals
I agree was pretty disappointed to not see them around last finals but slowly and surely I think more and more former Celtics are coming back around with Eddie House and Scal both working with NBS Boston sports, Perk has been more and more atBoston games usually as a guest in game commentator with Scal and Pierce has been at more and more games which is good to see. Kinda feel like a big part of this episode you can see Paul really trying and pushing that on KG who seemed kinda reluctant some what. Which is disappointing considering KG always has mentioned how much the history of Celtics and playing in the Garden seeing those banners was the greatest inspiration and motivation. As well as how much Russell and others Celtics legends was there and around the team for him that of all people he should realize that he kinda owes it to and oay it forward for the new generation to do the same for them! Hopefully P got it through his head and we do see KG as well as others like Ray and Rondo around more!

I'm 40 yrs old and I remember watching bird, mckail,parish, DJ. And the next group came in walker and Pierce, barros then pierce, kg and Ray now jb& jt smart ya I said smart!! Chevy she want about him but he brings a whole different energy to the franchise. But anyway I can't help but smile through this whole video! And I can only pray this group could pull it off cuz they definitely have the talent. But it takes more than that to win on the biggest stage! And I hope they do so one day I can be watching this video 20 years later and see them visiting the next group of men and let their presence be felt!
