Just wanted to say, i took a long break from hollow knight after i beat p3 because i couldnt beat pure vessel, but after you started uploading hollow knight, I decided to go back in, and I just recently beat P5. I got the platinum trophy thanks to you, Absolute radiance, is the absolute bane of my existence, and I screamed so loud when I finally beat her that my roomate ran into the room thinking I was being murdered. So if I did it, so can you.
It took me a month-ish to beat pantheon 5. From what I've seen this is the case for a lot of people. I appreciate anyone that is truthful about the p5 struggle because its honestly fun to see other people suffer the same way I did.
Something i highly recommended doing is equipping the heart charm. It’s probably very hard to switch your charm setup right now but the 2 extra masks you get from the heart charm were a game changer for me. Best of luck with P5 i believe in you 🙏

My tip for absolute radiance is using the quick focus and deep focus charms along with any soul building charm. It makes the platforming section so much easier since you can take your time and heal to full rather quickly and safely.
Hey some things that helped me to beat p5 Quick Focus is great against Nightmare King Grimm. You can easily heal in the spikes or flame pilars attack using it. I usually put it in place of Umbreaknle Strenght for that boss wave. This means no Strenght Markoth, wich seems bad but allows you to farm more soul to spam him with spells on the second phase. Against absrad try to sneak some heals on the plataform phase (don't need quick focus for that) the easiest way is against the radial beam attack, dodge the third one and heal. You can do it against other attacks too, just don't try to heal if she uses the orbs Against the last phase you don't need to throw the orbs offscreen, some people like doing that but if it's hard for you there are other ways, I personally don't do it and still can beat it really consistently You were not struggling against the first phase but it's still good to know that you can descending dark in the spikes to make them disappear, a lot of times you get to damage her, dodge her attack and get rid of the spikes for 1 spell, wich is super worth it

My winning run happened after taking a break right before the hard section by just pausing the game and coming back later that day, maybe you could try that. Also I def recommend experimenting with the healing build, it helped me beat it significantly sooner than I would have otherwise

Personally I ran the traditional shaman stone, strength, quick slash, grubsong, steady body. At the beginning I wouldn’t use soul at all so I can heal before the second phase and use spells during it. Also try hitting the radiance quickly by double jumping and rapidly slashing upwards, you can get a lot more damage in. You can also heal a bit during the beginning of the climb phase. That’s all my tips. Also I agree they should cut out like 50% of the bosses in order to make the runs shorter.
I have 2 tips from beating the 5th Pantheon. 1. Falling off the map only deals 1 damage, so if it's the only way out of getting hit, 1 damage is better than 2. 2. For the last phase, the energy balls disappear when they go off screen, which they often go over the screen if you pogo off of her.

You could try to get bindings or possibly all bindings on previous pantheons which will get you lifeblood to help for P5 or you could try beating bosses on radiant in the hall of gods but yeah point is do something else other than P5 you need a break bro 🙏🙏
