Nice, detailed unboxing video. After flying with you, can definitely tell the sim helped. You flew manual mode great. You know my complaints with DJI on this release. I feel like they really nickel & dimed the community with this drone. No real controller, no 'fast' charger. 🤙🏾
Are you using Liftoff with Mac? I had Velocidrone and had to do some security bypass to get it to download. I want to get into FPV but I know that is a deep rabbit hole. It won’t be long before I want to start ripping through with faster drones. I really dislike that they are making people buy the Motion Controller over the FPV Remote. That is the reason I haven’t pulled the trigger on the Avata and accessories in my Amazon cart.
I also got the FPV Controller 2, but I kind of like the Motion Controller for the Goggles 2 head tracking feature. It's fun, a bit like VR. But yeah, kind of a gimmick, but also a bit of fun. I do think DJI should have a combo with the FPV controller as an option instead though.
Hi Chad. I've been thinking about getting one of these. You mentioned liftoff as a flight sim. I have windows 10 on my home computer and a android s21 phone, can you use the flight sim with these platforms? Did you practice on your home comp or phone? Seems like a big screen would be much much better. looking forward to seeing you with Chris soon!

I believe windows 10 was an option when downloading. Not sure sbout android. I'm using sim on a Mac.

I have never flown FPV in my life. Now that I have the Avata, I’ve flown it multiple times and it’s really easy to use. Love it.
