After his last day with Esports area they were on top of the NA leaderboard with 37 points. Sentinels (the winner of the split) was in second with 32 points, as well as NRG who was one 29 points at the time who also passed them. Esports area finished third but to say that when Knoqd joined the team got better and had better results is not true. That team has never been the same without Versult and Knoqd is good but it's not the same. They are not even going to lan.

Great video! Really threw me back to the drama of Early Apex on Xbox! As someone who played through these seasons and finished #21 Pred in season 5, I remember Playing with Slayers, who now plays for the EU Pro team E6, on his grind for #1 Pred on the worlds edge split. He was constantly the victim of direct DDosing from the #2 Pred who was desperate to do anything to get #1, and resorted to Ddosing Slayers and his friends so that they couldn't use the internet in their houses. Luckily I was never targeted, but I witnessed it first hand and the ones doing it even admitted to it over xbox messages. It goes to show the lengths people would go to back then to be #1 Pred on Xbox. The best part? Slayers Still got #1 that season. :)
This has been out forever, and I was apart of it. Yeah I'll admit it but it wasn't how you think, it was like the last day of the split and the number 2, and 5 pred we're teaming so they could pass Xynoa , then they told them they would team right back, before long there were 12-15 people wearing all green skins and 12-15 wearing purple, I hate when this story gets out and people are never aware of the actual context tho it's still wrong it wasn't them who started it, it was actually a guy who went my the name Miley0sirus

@@Mvlvch the ddossing came from one guy mainly that everyone knew, his name was HawaiianXpunches , basically he forced the top players to play with him or he would just doss them and he also dossed players who killed him in game depending on if he was in a bad mood or not, he had my Xbox account wrongfully banned for two weeks due to abandoning penalty, but yeah Xynoa wasn't dossing and neither was Skittles, but I can't say 100% if they didn't tell this guy to doss certain players because that's probably something very sensitive. But HawaiianXpunches did doss and was known for it, and even managed to bug my router for 2 hours once , so I had no internet for that long.
bro I think you have your audio set too low. It's fine, but it's much quieter than average yt video audio on my end.. Idk about recording/editing audio, but it sounds like the lows are overpowering the mids/highs to the extent that I had to manually turn down my subwoofer Dope video, though. Yeah there was so many different communities back at the higher end levels of apex early days. Knoqd was known as one of the best to touch an Xbox controller and one of the most dangerous wraith players so it was weird to see the OG grinding community come together with the OG exploit community

Im curious how far ahead was Xynoa & Skittle in S4 pre cheat war? you mentioned Need a Soda's little group does all the dirtiest shit ever to get top 1/2/3, but were apparently pretty far behind Skittle & Xynoa, additionally you mentioned that the play times for both Skittle and Xynoa were odd also, I know you speculated in this video that Need a Soda's team started cheating first, but it kinda seems like Skittle & Xynoa were cheating first or just cheating better if we assume Need a Soda and his crew were cheating before they decided to cheat via teaming.
FYI, there was another method he was using starting in season 11 that was guaranteed max RP every game without fail. Not a fan of skittle cakes but most of his RP came from this method and it was essentially a private match where he was just handed RP. Games were about 5 minutes long, max KP every game.

I understand that teaming is cheating but I don’t consider it on the same plane as hacking. Plus he was already punished for it when he got banned on Xbox. The little inconsistencies with the audio if your voice (random hard drops in volume), quality of alot of the in game footage, makes it annoyingly hard to watch 😬😬

There’s a difference between gaming the system and altering the game for singular wins. Yeah gaming the system is scummy, but at least you’re still in the confines of the game. Cheaters have an impossible advantage, so it’s pretty realistic to get completely random people (not planned people, which is another point) to gang up on them. In fact, since they aren’t on the same plane of egregiousness, a more realistic comparison is hacking to fight hackers, not teaming to fight hackers. All that to say, yeah what a shaky defense.
A lot of the information is wrong. For instance. In the console war, it's true they only teamed on the last day of the ranked split so that they wouldn't lose their spot. They were not griefing TSM, if you ever watched Xynoa or Skittles stream they would always drop Frag East that's why they dropped there. They were most comfortable fighting there. Verhulst is a fragger not an igl. Lol. Also, you never mention Skittles got #1 pred on PC. I feel like you should have stated that.
Console ranked in general has been tainted because of cheaters. Even way back in the Halo 2 ranked days you got a bunch of cheaters the higher you ranked up. It's worse now because so many people wanna be the next big streamer and will do anything to achieve that goal.
So he cheats on console and switches to pc to exploit the hundreds of different ways you can cheat on a different platform….. and makes lots of money doing it In the current state of apex I promise you he was still cheating just doing it like the rest lol
when I got into apex, originally on Xbox one season 2 and 3 , I always would do pretty well in fights with much higher level players even though i hadnt played any video games at all on any platform for at least 5 years. this video now is showing me why haha
Have to admit i used the glitch too in a few games but stopped right after and kicked all dashboardes out of my fl.. i am not willing to cheat myself and even stopped ranking this season in order to keep my honor for myself. If you still see an incredible bad S3 Pred, you should know whats going on.
I cannot help but laugh being one of those ranked grinders back in the day I was rank 10 season 2 of ranked and was top 50 pretty consistently. That being said Xynoa was really insane at the game great player but was definitely racist. Regarding skitttles i think that he was using a XIM adapter on console but could never really confirm it. The only evidence I really have for that is his unnatural switch from controller to mnk. Its one thing to switch but to be that good? Kinda sus to me. Lastly Need A Soda. Anyone who knows Soda personally is laughing their ass off right now. Soda is probably the most notorious ranked grinder on xbox back in the day and it isnt even close.
Also, I would like to add that nearly EVERYONE who was in the top 50 was dashboarding with the notiable exception of Xynoa and Skittles. They were actually known for not dashing. This is an alt so I'm comfortable enough to say that I too was a dashboarder and it was a real problem. I mean so bad that I literally had over 100,000 RP at one point and I wasn't even in the top 10.

I was playing apex 8+ hours a day at this time. I didn't normally play ranked (usually solod pubs), but most of my friends were pred ranked grinders and would talk to me about this stuff. Need a Soda has always been hated by pretty much everyone, and most people considered him pretty good. But everyone had a lot of respect for skittles and xynoa's skill. I would constantly get told about how they would just walk over people, and how they were just leagues and leagues beyond anyone elses skill level in the game. I would play ranked every now and then with my friends just to be able to chat with them and relax a bit. I ended up actually being in the game of the clip that went viral where skittles was in artillery teaming and I died to them. Ranked back then (at least on console) was a lot more like comp is today. It was very end-game focused all the time - People were a lot smarter about what fights they would take, and overall the skill level was a lot higher. I think skittles took a lot of that experience into comp and that's why he is one of the best players in the world right now.
I'm actually a close personal friend with William. I built his PC, and even during that process, let him stream and play using my computer while his was in the process of being built. First of all, William is a great guy, he doesn't have a single grain of malice in his heart. Secondly, of all the times I've seen him play(personally), never once did I ever see him cheat. Sure, he teamed to get back at Need a soda from stream sniping him and Xynoa_, but that was the largest extent of this "cheating"

As someone who played with and against him alot during that time some of this just isn’t right. 100% no question use to have soooo much proof he was cheating the whole season lol He definitely was teaming at the beginning of the season to get to number 2 with xyona and fruf. Also you could still back out fruf would be the one to back out if things went bad like about to lose a fight. They would 6 man caustic crypto path and have full servers up to 12 man were they don’t fight until there the last 4 teams. Also it's definitely more of a problem on pc to cheat. Yeah you may have strike packs but nothing like the hacks you can get on pc

A lot of the information is wrong. For instance. In the console war, it's true they only teamed on the last day of the ranked split so that they wouldn't lose their spot. They were not griefing TSM, if you ever watched Xynoa or Skittles stream they would always drop Frag East that's why they dropped there. They were most comfortable fighting there. Verhulst is a fragger not an igl. Lol. Also, you never mention Skittles got #1 pred on PC. I feel like you should have stated that.
Console ranked in general has been tainted because of cheaters. Even way back in the Halo 2 ranked days you got a bunch of cheaters the higher you ranked up. It's worse now because so many people wanna be the next big streamer and will do anything to achieve that goal.
So he cheats on console and switches to pc to exploit the hundreds of different ways you can cheat on a different platform….. and makes lots of money doing it

when I got into apex, originally on Xbox one season 2 and 3 , I always would do pretty well in fights with much higher level players even though i hadnt played any video games at all on any platform for at least 5 years. this video now is showing me why haha

I cannot help but laugh being one of those ranked grinders back in the day I was rank 10 season 2 of ranked and was top 50 pretty consistently. That being said Xynoa was really insane at the game great player but was definitely racist. Regarding skitttles i think that he was using a XIM adapter on console but could never really confirm it. The only evidence I really have for that is his unnatural switch from controller to mnk. Its one thing to switch but to be that good? Kinda sus to me. Lastly Need A Soda. Anyone who knows Soda personally is laughing their ass off right now. Soda is probably the most notorious ranked grinder on xbox back in the day and it isnt even close.
Also, I would like to add that nearly EVERYONE who was in the top 50 was dashboarding with the notiable exception of Xynoa and Skittles. They were actually known for not dashing. This is an alt so I'm comfortable enough to say that I too was a dashboarder and it was a real problem. I mean so bad that I literally had over 100,000 RP at one point and I wasn't even in the top 10.

I was playing apex 8+ hours a day at this time. I didn't normally play ranked (usually solod pubs), but most of my friends were pred ranked grinders and would talk to me about this stuff.
Need a Soda has always been hated by pretty much everyone, and most people considered him pretty good. But everyone had a lot of respect for skittles and xynoa's skill. I would constantly get told about how they would just walk over people, and how they were just leagues and leagues beyond anyone elses skill level in the game.
I would play ranked every now and then with my friends just to be able to chat with them and relax a bit. I ended up actually being in the game of the clip that went viral where skittles was in artillery teaming and I died to them.
Ranked back then (at least on console) was a lot more like comp is today. It was very end-game focused all the time - People were a lot smarter about what fights they would take, and overall the skill level was a lot higher. I think skittles took a lot of that experience into comp and that's why he is one of the best players in the world right now.
I'm actually a close personal friend with William. I built his PC, and even during that process, let him stream and play using my computer while his was in the process of being built. First of all, William is a great guy, he doesn't have a single grain of malice in his heart. Secondly, of all the times I've seen him play(personally), never once did I ever see him cheat. Sure, he teamed to get back at Need a soda from stream sniping him and Xynoa_, but that was the largest extent of this "cheating"

As someone who played with and against him alot during that time some of this just isn’t right. 100% no question use to have soooo much proof he was cheating the whole season lol He definitely was teaming at the beginning of the season to get to number 2 with xyona and fruf. Also you could still back out fruf would be the one to back out if things went bad like about to lose a fight. They would 6 man caustic crypto path and have full servers up to 12 man were they don’t fight until there the last 4 teams. So “they weren’t cheating they just aren’t fighting each other “ that shit was so fucking annoying details are off but overall for not being there it’s pretty accurate
Yeah I just remember getting in their game one time during season 4 and holy shit I never saw a caustic play like him and then xynoa clutched up running 2 r99’s against the last 2 squads as a solo and I was amazing until a few weeks go by and everyone’s talking about how they cheated but there was no denying how skilled those guys were
