I’m 35 years old and haven’t played videogames for more than 15 years. Last month i decided to buy a PS4 and try a new game. I saw a trailer of RDR2 and I wanted it to give it a try. Man where the f was I all these years. What a game. Every element is phenomenal.
Every single time he shows Arthur's eyes, I somehow can feel how he feels, just like humans, that's how fucking good this game is, and it's scary yet beautiful.
I love the story and how Dutch went off the deep end, but also what makes it a good plot is that you see everyone else’s perceptions of Dutch throughout the game. It makes you feel like you’re there
The combination of bloodlust, head trauma, a dead best friend, and a sycophantic Micah are the reasons why Dutch finally went crazy and betrayed John and Arthur.
HOLY! The wobbling wagon gradually falling apart is truly a shock to me. Can't believe they made the process of collapse from shot wheels this amazingly realistic!
“If you start a fight in the saloon” *proceeds to throw dynamite into said saloon* “the next day the saloon will be closed” I don’t think it was closed because of the fight guys

Never ceases to amaze me. This is what we want out of every game. Intense detail. Makes it so so immersive for the player. Blows my mind the amount of time and effort that went into just tiny details such as these
@@deceitfultears it sucks as a game. The combat is just as clunky as it was in the first red dead,riding a horse is made to be the most tedious thing ever,the game treats you like a child by making it so that you can’t be creative with how you approach missions

1:37 The bell atop the abandoned church isn't ringing because of the wind. Bolger Glade is haunted and the bell ringing is another example of of Rockatar's love for including paranormal activity. If you return to Bolger Glade at night when it's foggy, you can hear the sounds of the battle that ravaged the area.
The subtlety of the paranormal encounters in RDR2 is what makes it so spooky. I hope Rockstar adds spooky stuff in GTA6 and in their upcoming medieval open-world game.
It’s not normal how insanely detailed this game is. I played it when it came out back in 2018 to 2020 and on this day i still found details i never saw. Great work rockstar
I love it! It's like a real movie you can interact with. So many unbelievable details... miles away you can see foxes playing with each other when you look through the binoculars or an eagle hunting other birds... wherever you look there's life. It's hard waiting for probably 10 more years till RDR3 will be released (I pray for it) but it'll be worth waiting. I'm sure. I love it.

Yeah man same but that being said hopefully they are working equally as hard on gta 6. If it plays like rdr2, and has as much detail, then we may have an even bigger masterpiece on our hands.
My Arthur was kinda fat in the earlier chapters but got extremely slim towards the end, felt it was fitting as it gave more emphasis on his physical decline from his TB.
The creators of RDR2 thought of every single thing and am not even exaggerating 1 bit as am playing it for the 3rd time and I still feel like am playing a new game. This is nothing short of a masterpiece that’s a given at this point I think.
Bro the reflection thing is INSANE, like I wouldn’t have really noticed if it weren’t a thing but having it makes it just that little bit more magnificent of a game

I'm sure others noticed it already, but when the bell rings because of the wind the bird back ground/left/top out of the bell, looks like it is actually flying into some wind a little bit. Like it's meeting a little resistance
The fact I’ve never noticed the reflection in Arthur’s eyes is a testament to the dedication that Rockstar had when developing this masterpiece. Something so small and trivial that if you don’t look for you probably won’t see it is insane. Here’s hoping GTA VI is getting this much love and care.

When people ask why GTA VI is taking Rockstar so long, don’t say they’re milking GTA Online. Just show them this video. They’re making their world as believable as it can be before they even consider releasing it.

If any of you have trouble with mounted combat there’s a trick to that. All you have to do is turn your horse in place shooting from whichever side opens up as you spin. So you don’t lose control of the horse while you’re shooting and end up crashing into a tree trying to shoot behind you. Makes your horse harder to hit as well.
Also the effect of Arthur’s weight is being bigger means less damage taken but more stamina is used being slim means you use less stamina but take more damage.

Man, this game has serious implementations of human anatomy. The way Arthur gets fat and skinnier is proof enough.

If you talk to Jack after you have dealt with the shop owner who has a guy in his basement, you'll hear Arthur tell Jack to stay away from the water.
Arthur says that to Jack regardless of dealing with the shop guy.

Mine started off thin and got even thinner toward the end because of his sickness. It was really apparent in his face.
My Arthur was Built Like a tank at Adverage weight 4.5. Seeing his loss in muscle mass really went well with the story.
My current play through has Arthur being an asshole because I want him to start slowly trying to redeem himself as he gets sicker.
He wasn't fat at the beginning he was just very bulky
