I chose 6 before I had come across this so I'm happy to see it in the list, it's a great spot. I'm a sucker for the farm and scarecrow areas and this one has a lot of cool views of neighboring buildings/village/water etc and it is a great central location to the world so I haven't even had to move for anything.
One of the two castle plots to the south of Farbane Forest's Infested Graveyard (not to be confused with the Desecrated Graveyard) is accessible by a Mortium-style ancient stone bridge, and the connected plot has another such a bridge at the back. Would be an awesome place for a castle (or castles!) that can match the bridge's bleak and foreboding vibe. Plant some Weeping Willows and you could have your very own mini-Mortium.
I built mine in north west dunley next to the Quartz mine, its two seperate plots seperated by a bridge with a water fall at the back(west), the view is foggy but the valley behind looks like is has a giant lake below to the west, and to the north you can see gloomrot. You can occasionally see lightning as well. I use both plots its a shame it's not one. The plot facing north has its own bridge access.
I fully understand that these are for PVE and are for aesthetics - But I want to leave an extra tip for those who like PVP servers. - These are not very functional on a PVP server - the only one that would work a little bit would be number 6 and 9.... - The best PVP plots consist of a single entrance (and rarely 2 entrances) - and along with that the best ones are two stories high. - This is ideal to take into account because plots have more importance in PVP servers.... - In a PVE server you would basically just choose the nicest one you like... - BUT in a place where you have to defend castle almost none of these works and in fact the terrains like the one you mentioned here in number 10 are usually one of the worst (in PVP). - Since it is open on all sides, it is not even one floor high and anywhere they can place a golem and easily reach the heart of the castle... - BUT I REPEAT. - This is not a hateful comment... - Your video was spectacular... - It is just a comment that complements the idea leaving a tip to those people who want to consider a terrain in a PVP server. :D
@@XoloQueue all the ones you mentioned do not work so well in PVP (except for 6 and 9). - if you want to make a video of good PVP terrain - I will be happy to help you. ♥
I didn't know about the first Silverlight plot since I almost never get to build there, but defiantly think I'm gonna need to try my hand building there at least once. One of my favorite spots to build fresh out the gates is in East Farbane right next to the snowy mountain. It gets snug fast but I just love seeing the fishing hole right across. If you don't mind me asking, what is in your opinion the hardest place to build? There are some plot spaces I really struggle to see in a way to make it nice and unique and wonder if you have ever felt similar.
Right now, I am currently struggling with the plot in southeast silverlight hills. It's so big and oddly shaped. Makes it hard to fill up all the space in a way that makes sense. I also struggle with building on the more narrow plots. There's a horizontal and vertical one in Dunley that are hard to build on.
I've built on 2 and 8! I love seeing a list of scenic plots as most of the guides only cover "the most epic, defendable PVP location!!!!" and that just isn't my vibe :')
I built my second castle on my first play through on 8 so I could mainly use it as a jail for farming blood from the silver town just south of it. Also to practice building towers from one lvl to the other. Happy hunting gamers!
In North Wesr Silverlight, there's a bi level plot i have built upon. I like the proximity to town. Anytime im hungry, i stop by town and pick up a happy meal.
It's a setting you can use from the in-game console. It allows you to go out of bounds and phase through everything. This is only accessible to server admins. Here's how to use it: 1) Enable console from the in-game settings menu 2) Press the ` key to access the console while you're out of the settings menu 3) Type "AdminAuth" and press ENTER (this will give you admin privileges) 4)Type "toggleobserve 2" then press ENTER (this will enable ghost mode) If you wish to get out of this mode, type "toggleobserve 0" instead. Hope that helps!
The best plot to build a castle in PVE servers is the one in Farbane where you have the ancient bridge. The natural scenario is just amazing and already give you the storytelling element where you can think this castle may be as old as Dracula's fallen reign.
@@steaks14 if you choose to start in the West Portal go to East and check the plots between those two portal, you'll see the bridge. Would be easier if i could send you a printscreen, but i think you'll find it easy mate.
Ah yes. Close. Close. My base location is still the best and secret compared to others for one thing and it will always be a secret that people dont really use or know about. And ive been raided like 12 times (brutally offlined) only to have all my stuff remain in the castle. It pays to know what to do and so far. Im damn near the only one to find it out. And no, it is not a bug.
I love how you sell the fighting around your property as "free entertainment" x'D
Spoken like a real estate agent!
LMFAO
the second plot you show in this video is the plot i always grab when i start a new game or jump on a new server. CHEERS!!!
Nice!

Yeah it's a very nice location.
Waaaaahhh I would have needed that when I started out :3

There are a lot of connected plots but which would you recommend for a duo pve castle location?
If it were without relocating, I would say somewhere in Dunley. Maybe somewhere closer to the iron cave than the haunted mines.

i go for the one in Hallowed Mountains just on top of frozen cave i like the idea of my vampire living away form eveyone

@@XoloQueue Thank you very much 👍
But I like your choices
If you could have a custom plot, what are all the features you would want?
Waterfall, bridges, scarecrows, caravan path, werewolf path, no connected neighbors, snow. All of these things together. 😂
My main games castle is already on 10 its cool, and downright gothic with all the mist
It's definitely a great spot.
