I know it's not gameplay but something about this trailer really reminded me and gave me the feel of the older games pre origns era (where I kind of started to not like the games though I thought Origins was good) and it genuinely has me excited for an assassin's creed game for the first time in a long time, of course I'll have to see gameplay first but I would love it if they went back to the older format but modernized instead of the kinda clunky open world rpg games they've been making recently I would be over the moon. I love seeing the assassins robes proper again. The setting looks absolutely stunning and if the gameplay looks good I can't wait to run though those streets and climb those buildings. It just reminds me so much of the games that made me love the franchise in the first place.
as an old ac fanboy I'm really excited, ac really ended for me after the origins (it was not bad but certainly not the old ac I liked) they also said that mirage had more stealth related gameplay which is good beacuse I always found the old ac games really lacking in that, it's my first time since the black flag that I am genuinly excited about an ac game (though unity and syndicate were not bad either)
Accordingly, they said it’ll be around 15-20 hours of gameplay like the older AC games. Not to mention that Basim will visit Alamut later in the story, the legendary fortress of the Assassins. And considering this is taking place in the Middle East, it’s definitely gonna be a tribute to the very first entry of the series. While I might not have a console to play on, I’m honestly excited to see how this story will play out!
People are funny. Everybody bitched and moaned about AC games being the same. Then they changed with Origins and everybody celebrated. Now, they are going back to the way they were and everybody is hyped.
I've played every single Assassins Creed game there is (not including liberations) and it planted the seed of my love for mythology and history ever since my older brother let me play AC2 back when I was 5 years old. So much so that I took multiple courses in university on Greek, Roman, and Norse mythology. I have stood by this franchise, defended it, and played it for all this time and year after year my passion and desire to play slowly faded especially through Valhalla and Odyssey. I truly hope that all of this marketing of going "back to basics" isn't just a marketing scheme to get people to buy Mirage. Assassins Creed went from competing with other series' like Halo and COD to becoming a laughing stock. We the fans don't want anything over the top and revamped from the ground up we want our likeable characters like Ezio back. We want our hoods and hidden blades like Connor had back. We want beautiful cities with co-op like Unity had. This series has become unrecognizable when compared to any games post Unity. So for all my other hidden ones and for all the members of the brotherhood I pray that this game unites the entire fan base together again because if this game flops and turns into another Demi god, mercenary, superpower wielding murder spree again than Assassins Creed will truly be finished.
Vahalla was amazing , I will miss it . You sound like an emotional prick. I hope they don’t go back to old stale gameplay that was the reason for its downfall in the first place .

I just love how they made a reference to Assasins creed II trailer seen on 3:02 like bro that put a smile to my face and has me hyped up seriously just revive the series back please we still have hope
Yes I've noticed it too early And there is another reference that the narrator used he said to basim that you're now a hidden one meaning that this game will likely be focusing on Egypt but with a huge year gap after bayek forms the brotherhood of hidden ones (proto assassins)
For those who are confused with the setup. Mirage is the spin off game that was originally meant to be for Valhalla expansion but now a full blown game. Jade is the collaboration with Tencent to make a game set in China for mobile users. Infinity is just meant to be a platform for the Games that take place in Japan and Germany. Which is what Red and Hexe are. Think of it as mini Assassin's Creed games with their own narrative in 30 to 50 hour gameplay. So think back to how Unity kinda hinted at what they wanted to do but here you can just click on what game you want to play and it will take you to that story.
No I grew up with an ac game that has a good trailer with quality sound track. Not this lack of really anything to make basim worth playing..when I said the trailer to ezio revelations and just ezio in general I knew I wanted to play that game. All the way to syndicate did I think the trailers looked amazing. Than Valhalla came with a nice one but this is a set back in terms of display however it brings back what we can assume is original ac style
This game just doesn't look all that appealing from the trailer sure basim is a character worth learning about from Valhalla but they can do better than that to show him off

Yes! Going to back to their roots! Shades of AC: Unity! I can’t wait to get my hands on it! I am so getting this! I’ve been dying for a real Assassin’s Creed game again! Thank you, Ubisoft & I hope they’re going to have a panel at NYCC this year! Between this, GoW: Ragnarok & Gotham Knights 2022 going into 2023 is looking pretty sweet right now! The future is bright in gaming!
For those wondering how the game will play. It's been confirmed the combat from the Origins trilogy will comeback, but this time Basim have a ability to slow down time and Assassinate multiple targets. Stealth plays a primary role like AC1/Unity. There are no rpg mechanics or gender swap either. Eagle this will get attack and will return once the conflicting activity dissappears.
this can both be a return to what's good with improvement's By that i mean, exploring a sprawling city, building yourself and the brotherhood, doing a myriad of things with a good paced story High level balanced combat where with time and practice i can dominate all with the most high tech weapon possibly being a hidden gun and challenging assassinations with bonus challenges and pushing my stealth and technique on a decently open path with not full linearity ... Also some Abstergo and modern stuff cause I like that
Okay i see people commenting on how this looks like the old days of AC. People this is a game made by Ubisoft, that alone should warrant caution. Wait to hear reviews on this game before you preorder or buy this. Dont be dumb and let your hopes get the better of you again.

So good!!Love from Bangladesh 🇧🇩
OMG AC mirage looks so realistic and awesome. Definitely will be worth the money
Realistic? It’s a CGI trailer lol
This feels like the first few AC games, it's such a return to form
And that soundtrack 3:03..... Omg.
ALTAIR IS BACK! HELLL YEAHHH! BUT WITH DIFFERENT STORY! OMG LOVE YOU UBISOFT! Hope it's better than that Valhalla one
No one ever: I love cinematic game trailers
A very special and amazing voice from an Iranian woman named Shohreh Aghdashloo.
Love seeing Basim fail the wall climb and then succeed later on. Hope we get to see a lot of character progression and feel like you’re really growing as the game progresses.
Did y'all actually make an *assassins* creed again ?! I'm crying tears of joy.
Reminds me a lot of Revelations, will be the first AC game I pick up for a long time
This sends chill down my spine with its truly next gen graphics. I hope gameplay is as good as the trailer.
Next gen graphics?? Have you heard of the term CGI lol
BRO FINALLY THIS IS THE ASSASSINS CREED IF BEEN WAITING FOR SINCE UNITY!!
I like that little AC 2 reference at 3:00
Hopefully if this does well, we can get an Origins trilogy. I really think we should finish Bayek’s story, because he is one of my favorite Assassins.
OMG the last part of the trailer, damn good old days
For those wondering how the game will play. It's been confirmed the combat from the Origins trilogy will comeback, but this time Basim have a ability to slow down time and Assassinate multiple targets. Stealth plays a primary role like AC1/Unity. There are no rpg mechanics or gender swap either. Eagle this will get attack and will return once the conflicting activity dissappears.
Noooo same combat? Pointing at one character and invisible skateboarding around?? No free flow?!? Come on Ubi!!! 😩😡
That is very dissapointing tho. Origins combat isn't fit for this kind of game
Therefore it kind of makes it an rpg
this can both be a return to what's good with improvement's
By that i mean, exploring a sprawling city, building yourself and the brotherhood, doing a myriad of things with a good paced story
High level balanced combat where with time and practice i can dominate all with the most high tech weapon possibly being a hidden gun
and challenging assassinations with bonus challenges and pushing my stealth and technique on a decently open path with not full linearity
