We just got a Pomsky puppy two weeks ago. Pretty much everything you mentioned in the video is true. She is destructive, she loves to chew, she loves to dig, she loves to escape, and she requires constant attention. Luckily, we've had many dogs before, including rambunctious ones, and we knew what to expect, so we were prepared for it. But the cute looks are deceiving. The only thing is that our dog loves everybody, including strangers. Everything else was bang on!
I was given one for free, the owner realized it was too much work, I am ecstatic! She's 3 months and perfect with my 2 other lil pups and a cat. They are great and loyal watch dogs as well. I am in need of a watchdog at 65. What a blessing she is and her name was and is Dora, meaning a gift from God.
I've had a pomsky for about two years now and I couldn't imagine life without him. He's extremely playful and lovable, not to mention talkative. The intelligence of pomskies is never to be underestimated. My little guy knows his name as well as the names of everyone in the house. Whenever he wants to go outside to go to the bathroom he will sit in front of you, sneeze, and then make a yawn-like bark that sounds like he's saying "oooouuuuuut". It's adorable to say the least. My mom often complains about his size although I did do my research and told her ahead of time that they can get to the size of a medium dog. He's almost 40 lbs and is definitely a lap dog despite his size. Frankly, I love his size, he's like a big teddy bear that I get to cuddle and curl up on the couch with.
I have one, 15 months young. He's my first dog and i'm glad I got a trainer.. he's so easygoing and loveable but would be too hyper without proper training. Doesn't take much but make sure you do it!! Train him/her and walk him/her twice a day and they will be like an angel. He sleeps all day, never chews things and is so gentle and friendly with children and other animals. Everyone wants to know what his breed is and they laugh when I tell them haha

I have a first gen pomsky and its been a whole year and I did not expect how energetic she would be, she either is super high energy or very tired and is sleeping for half the day. Not destructive when left alone, she just gets bored and goes to sleep. Learned a lot during the experience, if you plan on getting one be prepared to spend a lot of time with them and to be aware of the extremely high energy they give off. Recommended to have a good amount of space too!
i have a second gen pomsky, she is my first puppy and honestly i cannot imagine life without her. first few weeks were hard as ive never owned a dog before let alone such a high energy breed (real puppy blues) but i followed training, built a relationship, made sure she is healthy and now she is the life of the home. this video is absolutely right, please please pleaseee do your research before you bring any precious life into your home. Wolfy (my pomsky) is one of the sweetest most beautiful thing ive ever had the privilege of getting to know, kinda makes me tear up as im writing this, but i do have to mention she is a high maintenance dog. you need to make sure your entire family is on board and invested or else its simply not fair for the puppy. anyways, if you do decide to get one, i can guarantee you will fall in love with it, but again please do your research. dogs are simply our pets but for them, we are their entire world. It breaks my heart to see such precious gifts from god end up without homes and in such terrible situations. :(
Refreshing to see someone take a responsible approach to learning and applying what they have learned about this cross breed. Since I tend to be a fan of Spitz breeds, friends ask me about Pomsky as they look so "cute" as puppies. When I am done, most decide not to get one as they didn't realize the amount of effort (as you put in) to get the best rapport with their dog.
Yes, I was one of the owners unprepared. I went into the shelter looking for a rather more docile breed like a lab, who I can take hiking, but couldn’t keep my eyes off my (now) dog. I’m only familiar with full breeds, so I never knew of such mix. Lots of trial and error, and he still a puppy. It’s hard to get everyone on board in my family, so I try to spend time with him more so he’s more aware of what I teach him. He is definitely a handful but I’m a good way, I guess 😂
Just bought a 2 month old pomsky from a breeder, and I was immediately in love with him.My pomsky is so smart and affectionate, with a mix of stubbornness and sass....I wouldn't have it any other way.
@@AshleyJolienne They are highly intelligent, so if barking is an issue, you can teach it to control the pitch of its bark. I taught my pomsky to whisper. She now knows how to go from a high pitch bark to a very soft ruff...
Spot on! High maintenance but sooo worth it! My 5 month old female, Piper is honestly a dream puppy when it comes to potty training and sleeping arrangements. She sits by the door when she needs to potty and wakes me up at 7 every morning, after sleeping a full night through. The only thing I will say about breeders is....do your research, make sure they deworm their puppies and get their proper puppy shots, and offer a health guarantee! When you spend that much, there shouldn't be ANY surprises! I think Piper might end up being a larger Pomsky... the breeder estimated she'd get about 25 pounds but at 5 months she's 16.5 lbs already! I can't find a harness to properly fit her head/chest LOL If you are a homebody like me, this breed is perfect. She gets my full attention every day, gets along great with my 2 cats and even cuddles with them occasionally! Truly a life changing animal ❤
I have 2 pomskys ,both are First generations,, one black and white with blue eyes while other is pure white and amber eyes . my black and white one is now 3 yrs old while my white one is 1 yr old .Loki the black and white one is 19 inches at the shoulder , Thor the white one is 22 inches at the shoulder and both are about 45 lbs ,, both dogs turned out being the biggest out of their litters , and i found mine were fairly easy to train using treats . my older one i got from someone who gave him up , as they couldn't handle him he was just a yr old at the time, and i met his breeder , the 2nd one was a rescue and was 5 months old when I rescued him . I couldn't imagine life without them .they my best buddies. spoiled puppers.
Everything said is so true! I have 1 year with my pomsky and he is a tornado but within the year we have learned to grow together, he learns super quick, obedient to one owner and eventhough he drives me crazy sometimes he knows when he does wrong but hes part of the family.
I absolutely love the breed. I raise them. Loyalty, love, and bunches of fun all in one. To me .. mine are highly intelligent. You give them love and respect they deserve and its paid back 10 fold. My pups now are 8 weeks old. Almost ready to leave me. I stay w them 24/7. Handful with 8 but I wouldn't change anything. Love my pomskies.
I have one but know that they are verry active and not all the time will the litter of puppies be super fluffy. Sometimes they don't even have husky markings.
My 20 pound pomsky is all black with little white toes. She is so cute and knows it! Leash training has been the hardest, because she wants to explore, is stubborn, and ignores me (sigh.) But she loves to go running with me. Unlike a lot of other pomskies, she isn't a digger or a chewer. In fact, she doesn't like chew toys or playing tug much at all. She loves her squeaky plushies and trots around the apartment with them in her mouth. I have to brush her often, but she can go without a bath for months and smell fine. Oh, and she hates being held, which is a shame, because she's so fluffy!
My Pomsky is 40lbs and amazing!!! He’s the most obedient dog ever. I don’t need an electric fence and he knows how to swim. Living at the lake has been a dream for my Bentley ❤️
My Pomsky is brilliant. He potty trained himself in 12 hrs. I have never swen anything like it. He is also very strategic in getting what he wants which is usually love, attention and treats. Most intelligent dog I have had. He also has said 'mama' which I have a video of. He talks. He is my furr baby. I adore him so much.
I have a Pomsky I got from a couple who were unable to care for such a high energy puppy. She's gorgeous, about 25-30lbs, and very energetic. When I got her, she was 5 months and completely neglected in the training department, which was hard at first. For a few weeks I had second thoughts thinking that I made the wrong decision and she was too much even for me. But with hard work, discipline, and love she developed into a great companion. However, she's not really "calmed" down much and I don't see it happening. These dogs need a lot of time and attention and if you don't have time for them, they are not right for you.
Or, if the pomsky is a F1b, with a F1 parent, and the other parent in a 100% pomeranian, you could have just gotten a pomeranian. But, I think pomeranian, is still less of a choice because they are still smaller and extra furry.
@@icanfinnsmh6824 from a actual breeders who can show you the parents of the puppy and registered papers don’t buy puppies from the store they are over priced and conditions of the puppies are horribles since they come from puppy mills
We have a Pomsky. She will be 1 yr old on 4-10-20. She is an amazing little girl. She is currently 26.7 lbs. She has trained up easily and well but definitely head strong just like our Huskies. We have owned a Pomeranian in the past and we definitely see pom traits in her as well. She loves to eat but we are very strict with her diet. She is super healthy. Unlike huskies she is a barker which is very Pomeranian, however her bark is deep and sounds so much bigger than she is. She is an absolute joy. She gets along great and is inseparable from our 8 yr old Husky and our 2 1/2 yr old Shiba Inu.
We got our dog from a rescue. In the beginning she ate everything thing in sight. She is an amazing dog! I wouldn't have changed a thing. It takes time and training. Plus, a lot of brushing her coat!
I have a rescue pomsky and I love him, but he needs plenty of walking, lots of boundaries and tons of love and attention. DO NOT GET THIS BREED IF YOU CANT COMMIT. We were his 4th home 😔
I have a Pomsky, and I can tell you some things that i learned having him. Before you adopt a Pomsky though, please make sure you can care for it. They are very high maintenance; they need a lot of exercise and things to keep them occupied. They are difficult to train; mine is super intelligent so would often get bored with training (always had to spice things up) and is very stubborn (if he doesn’t want to train anymore, there was no changing his mind haha). Last, the shedding season is rough; you need to groom daily and bathe regularly, or they can leave fur tumbleweeds in your house if you don’t keep up with it. Mine also had two shedding seasons a year where he completely blows out his coat (seriously you can make another dog with all the fur that comes off him during this time). My Pomsky, was very anxious and coy when we first got him, he was afraid of everything. He has definitely grown out of it a bit, but I wouldn’t say he’s super sociable, although he gets along with my family and my other dog just fine. Last but not least, he is so lovable, loyal and quirky. Also the fluffiest fluffernutter ever. ❤️🥰
My female Pomski weighs 46 lbs!! I assumed she would be 25 lbs tops!! But she is sweet, no matter how much I feed her or give treats, she is always up for more food!! Love my little girl Ali!!
I have a pomsky and she plays well with other dogs. She loves the dog park. She is a great walker and companion. I would recommend this type of dog for active owners. We are up at by 7 am and at the dog patk by 8:15. It helps to have a routine schedule. I found that early activity is best and a late night walk. She is also a helper dog. She will walk with me in the garden. She is also protective and friendly. She can be easily distracted by birds and other animals at times. She is stubborn to commands. Still traing her its not easy.
I have a 2 year old pomsky and a lot of what is in this video is true. He has a LOT or energy so we go on 3 walks a day or 2 very long ones and some playtime at home. He sheds A LOT i need to vacuum daily and brush him every 2 days. He is very smart thou so it makes training a bit easier but he is extremely stubborn so a lot of patience is required! If you’re looking for a lap dog i don’t suggest this breed as he’s very independent, but can be clingy at times. He’s adorable and super loyal and good with other animals but you do have to put in work and patience! Hope this helps anyone who’s looking for answers.
I have had my pomsky for almost three months he’s 5 months old he's so loveable and energetic he brings life into the home he does love walking and playing and digging and being a little trouble maker Planning to get some training though But I don't regret it he does sleep a lot but loved playing
I have a Pomsky She is adorable and was easy to potty train and learned 7 commands in 2 weeks! Training was easy for my Pomsky despite what others say about this breed!
My husband and I just got our first Pomsky (and first dog) a few days ago, and a lot of this is true. He has A LOT of energy, but he is so playful and bouncy. We’re still working on basic commands and potty training, but he’s learning fast! He still hasn’t learned his name yet, so it’s a bit difficult, be he’s already very smart. His name is Bowser! ❤️
Growing up I ALWAYS wanted a husky. Rescued an abused Staffordshire bull terrier almost two years ago and an acquaintance gave me their 9 month old pomsky. It's been SO much work but def worth it. Took three months before he would sleep w me. He has the nerves of a pom w the look of a husky lol 1st generation. He nearly 30lbs ar the least. Couldn' live without him
Im planning on getting one when i move out in about 8 years time, i do also have other dogs so aswell as me giving it attention, it shouldn’t get too bored because it will have other dogs to play with
My Pomsky is very sweet. She loves attention and I’ve definitely noticed that she inherits a lot of traits from both the Pomeranian and Husky. She’s around 25 lbs. Walking is a little bit difficult because she likes to pull. She is an F2 Pomsky and has similar traits to her parents. I don’t know if this is just her or not but she wouldn’t like to eat her food and we had to try several brands to find one she likes.
We have a pomsky named mogwai. Today is his 2nd birthday! We think he was the runt of the litter because on average he weighs about 20lbs and his brothers and sisters turned out much larger. We got lucky with him cause he has stayed relatively small. But he is one of the sweetest, most well behaved, cuddly pups. Although he doesn't always get along the best with other dogs we are still working on that. But we adore him and we're so happy to have him in our lives. He is very energetic and playful but he's also so stinking cute. He has one eye that is half brown half blue and the other is brown. We couldn't be happier with him.
I have a pomsky he is about 2 years old now. He is about 10lbs and has one blue and one brown he looks like a mini husky but he does have a lot of energy. Great dog!
HUSKIES are NEEDY DOG'S ALWAYS ANYWAY, NOTHING NEW TO ME. THEY ARE SOOOOOO STRONG and POWERFUL THEY DON'T KNOW THEIR OWN STRENGTH BUT THEY ARE ALL LOVE 💘 ABOVE ALL ELSE. 🐕
I brought mines on my bday, from a breeder On march 2, 2020. Her name is luna, right now she is 9 week old. ill say she pretty calm, energetic, love to eat, love to play with puppies n kids older, her toys, loves to get the attention, here n there she love to sleep n chill. that about it from her.training her is ok. she learns how to sit, stay, poppy train. Im very happy to have her
Our family just got a male pomsky. He is 5 months old, we got him at approximately 3 months old. He is extremely smart and already learned sit. Shake hands, roll over, fetch high five, and dance. He is very energetic and gets into trouble. We are all in love with Shadow. We have 2 boys 14 and 4 and its challenging. Our boy shadow does enjoy digging and chews on everything as he is a puppy. Thankyou so much for your content so informative. Please keep it coming!!! I was born and raised in Chicago, at 50 I just relocated to vegas. I'm worried about the extreme heat in summer here. I still have a grown daughter in Chicago and maybe I should think about spending summer in Chicago. I miss home so much!!!
My pomski is 3urs old and I had him for 2 yrs. The first yr was ruff, lol. Chewed up pretty much anything that was left out. My daughter's shoes, 2 remotes, inhaler, bra, and a hose, Even on my blinds and walls. Luckily he's cute and a little goofy too. I didn't want to give up on him. They didn't mention hard to train, stubborn, talking back and all the ooòhs and awes you'll get. I love my Jax 🐶. Btw, he weighs about 40 lbs, he's chubby. His fur is black and white with a little brown on back of legs, and blue eyes. His back goes to my knees.
Our girl is 2nd gen pomsky. She is verry playful, smart and a quick learner. ⚠ Be careful what you are getting yourself into. They are bred from huskies. Keep in mind that they aren't only a cute ball of fur or couch patato. If they are not excesised and challanged enough they get bored and destructive and turn into houdini. They need a firm leader and training and can be stuborn. They are highly pack oriented, not a breed to keep alone while at work + at night when you are sleeping. They will get bored, destructive, lonely, ... . Also when getting f1 you can't presict things like markings, hight, fur, life span, ... . This breed is to "new". Concider if the breed meets your needs before buying this cute pup. Not an active person, not at home a lot, nit having enough space for running, ... ? Maybe look into another breed. Provide your dog with what they need, don't expect them to provide in your needs. Still want a pomsky? Great! Enjoy your fur-friend :)!
I have 2 Pomskys - Grizzly (2 1/2 yrs old) n Daisy (2 years old) n they're my first dogs ever! I've raised 5 of their puppies before they were adopted, also 😊 I was very lucky 4 of them went to great homes in 2s n the last to a great home by himself, but they all visit with each other! My Pomskys are stubborn but VERY trainable and extremely smart. My Grizzly argues with me like a teenager 😆 Daisy is VERY protective of me. I don't know what I would do without them!
I have a pomsky and she just turned a year old. She is exactly as described. You need to have patience and prepare to do a lot of praising. They are very proud and EXTREMELY stubborn. Now on to the pros of having a Pomsky. The may be small but they have big attitudes and are very spirited animals. Extremely smart, sometimes too smart. They don't do well with yelling and you should never hit any dog. I can talk to her in a stern voice when she acts up and that stops her behavior immediately. You have to be consistent and stay consistent because again they are extremely smart. Make rules and don't sway, even if they give you the cutest face you ever saw and roll over for a tummy rub. They know how to work you over well. I've owned a Samoyed Husky in the past and a Pomeranian and they tend to have more traits of the husky. So prepare yourself and enjoy their spirit and the bond will come. Once you have this, you'll have the sweetest ornery dog ever. We spend hours laughing until we cry at her silly antics. Also they tend to be very social so if you don't have much time to spend with them it will be a nightmare. They need lots of TLC and I would recommend someone older and well vetted in dogs to consider this breed. She is constantly with me, my 19 year old twins, or my husband and HATES being alone. They get a bit anxious so I've left her alone (crated) once and she was completely upset all day and very clingy afterwards. So when you plan a vacation I would look into pet friendly hotels or leaving them with someone the trust completely. We love and enjoy every minute with her and is family. I don't like referring to her as my dog. She is my baby girl. They are SO worth it if you just have the patience and make sure you stick to your guns on the rules. I raised twins and this dog had me wishing i was chasing my two 2 year old twins again when she was around the 6 month mark. She was a handful and thankfully we all took our roles. She's very loved and very spoiled.
We have a Pomsky did buy her from a pet store very loveable, energetic, loves to be told she a good girl. Loves her treat (cherrios), and we tease her telling her she can't eat the kitty. Cat and her are 10 lbs each cat is older and front claws declawed. They love each other. When I take her out on leash she does the lunge rope. Great exercise. It the fenced in yard as a race track.
May I ask about your experience introducing your Pomsky to the cat? Thats kind of my main issue ATM... Would love to get a pomsky, but not if its gonna cause WW3 to break out as I've got a few cats already...
We've always had cats and dogs I'm afraid of the cats getting hit by a motor vehicle so their front claws are declawed. They are strictly indoor. They just seem to play with each other.
I have a 5 month old pomsky and I love him so much but he’s A LOT of work. Incredibly smart but stubborn so he needs strong leadership and lots of training but it’s been amazing watching him learn and grow. He’s such a mischievous little guy, always making me laugh with his antics. Pomskies are adorable but please do your research because they are not for everyone. They need tons of attention, training, and exercise but are amazing little fluff balls if you can put in the work.
I just got a pomsky couple months ago. She is 6 months old weighing around 10.5lb. She is super intelligent. I've noticed she just observes everything. Gets along with my husky and two chiweenies. As well as my 3 cats. She can be a little hyper but she plays well with my other dogs. I've done some training with her and she is really getting the hang of commands already. Potty training went well. Much better then my chiweenies lol. Each one of my dogs have their own little quirks. My favorite one with my pomsky is that she will lick you but she stops mid lick for a couple of seconds before finishing lol.
May I ask how was introducing the pomsky to your 3 cats? I've got several felines living here as well & would love to adopt a pomsky -- noticed one of the "local" shelters has a 7month old pup... But the cross-species issue is kinda bugging me... How'd you introduce them? Any issues? Tips/advice?
I got a pomsky back about 5 months ago and she was very easy to train with a little effort and an amazing dog In general. However I will warn you about size, we were told she would get no more than 30 lbs, however she is now 60 and still growing, cant complain however.
*Sir Bonzai Boogie Mojo Risin Hendrix* our Pomsky, cost us $1000, and we got him when he was 8 weeks old. He is a loving, rambunctious little character, full of love, a billion kisses and unbounded joy ! He earned his name 'BONZAI!!!'... because he's a wildman !... and he's just as smart, as he is sweet ! Be firm, and loving, treat them like your child, like family, and youll never regret having one. ps. !!! BONZAI !!! 🤣✌
My Pompsky stubborn as hell lol. She listens when she wants to though that's for sure. It's just hard to maintain her attention, on a leash is fine she doesn't yank and walks side by side. Without a leash in the backyard there's no way to get her attention other than running in the opposite direction she'll follow you. Any tips on how to maintain positive attention?
Just bought a 7 month old Pomsky a bit over a week ago, 10 lbs... mini husky with husky traits... she is awesome, she needs training and an alpha but fully confident with some time and training she’s going to be awesome which she is!!!, she has made big progress in 7 days and she’s super smart... but stubborn as huskies are... she sleeps a lot!!! hahaha but wakes up with energy to go and settles down super quick. She’s a keeper!
if you want a dog that will stay small but you want the husky look? Look into the Alaskan Klee kai!! they been around for a long while! They come in THREE sizes. Toy, mini & standard(which is still really small) .
I had a 25 pound Pomeranian. The vet thought he might have been part Eskimo or husky. Stunning thick coat. He was wonderful. Smart and stubborn. I really miss him. But I agree, this is not a dog for children and they need a lot of attention.
Instead of getting a designer breed like the pomskey, as they were created solely for aesthetic purposes, get an American eskimo, Alaskan klee kai, pomeranian ect. Designer breeds are not typically very stable in temperment. If your super stuck on a designer breed, either rescue or get a later gen dog that will help with temperment.
I know each dog is different, but my pomsky doesn't really dig. That, and he's super smart and food motivated, so super easy to train. Only advice though is to skip breakfast to really ingrain that food motivation for training. After about 30 minutes, he can learn most tricks shockingly easy
Our pomsky is more like lots of husky.. adopted from a shelter at 11 months old, we are training him to be kind to small children and small dogs as we have both. He spends most of his day running in the yard with our other Husky and sleeping in the office while I work. He's settling in well otherwise. I should mention he is my 6th Husky in my lifetime, so we know exactly what to expect and the best ways to train the Husky side of him. He's also as tall as my Husky but we were told his mom was a pomsky
I just picked this breed up. He was abandoned in a park and previous owners were abusive. He snaps at being pet, put on leash, and even fed. Any tips will help!
I think it’s important to note that Pomskies aren’t just expensive to buy but also very expensive to care for. You pay 1000s for the dog, then more 1000s to care for it. And trust me, it won’t be any less because you think the youtube comment must be exaggerating, this is what my Pomsky is costing me. Please be responsible.
I’ll be picking my pomsky pup up tomorrow. The person i got it from had at that moment three nests. Mine was actually one of the most expensive ones (€2500) i have an expensive choice.
Me and my girlfriend got one, smart easy to train but they will tend to get in trouble if they dont burn that energy, feed her mostly horsemeat. Considering mixing it with dry food however to calm her down lol.
I hope to bring one of these guys home, but I am still going to calculate if I can be this best parent of them! I like medium size dogs! so just got too see if the are suitable! but gotta a puppy crush on them!
Awwwwwwwww So Sweet 😍

Tanya Sellick does he bark as much as a Pom, or is this breed a bit better for that? Absolutely gorgeous breed!
@@AshleyJolienne
His bark is very high pitch and resembles a huskey...in my opinion....very high energy but so much fun
@@AshleyJolienne They are highly intelligent, so if barking is an issue, you can teach it to control the pitch of its bark. I taught my pomsky to whisper. She now knows how to go from a high pitch bark to a very soft ruff...
Can you recommend me your breeder trying to find someone reliable and not a scam
We have 2 Pomskies! 1 is 20lbs and the other is currently 5lbs. Definitely easy to train. I grew up with Huskies and they are wonderful as well.
My daughter has a Pomsky and I’m absolutely in love with him! He’s lively, loving and has so much personality and sense of humor!! He’s my baby
I got my pomsky puppy from a breeder in az, Arctic Design Pomskies, she was absolutely wonderful to work with and her dogs are stunning!
Would you mind sharing the breeder? I live in AZ and we’re currently trying to find a trusted breeder
Finally a video with actual facts and not just clips of someone’s Pomsky playing
I have one and she drives me nuts lol but i love her to death
I absolutely love the breed. I raise them. Loyalty, love, and bunches of fun all in one. To me .. mine are highly intelligent. You give them love and respect they deserve and its paid back 10 fold. My pups now are 8 weeks old. Almost ready to leave me. I stay w them 24/7. Handful with 8 but I wouldn't change anything. Love my pomskies.

I might be getting a pomsky
Consider an Alaskan Klee Kia. Google these fabulous scaled down Husky type minis.
@@Dobiegal at least they used similar drives with the Klee Kias
Pomskies are mutts. Overly priced mutts that are the butt of all the jokes by dog people. Well that and mini bullies
Did you get one yet
These dogs need a lot of time and attention and if you don't have time for them, they are not right for you.
if your "pomsky" is more than 45+ you could have just gotten a siberian husky
Or, if the pomsky is a F1b, with a F1 parent, and the other parent in a 100% pomeranian, you could have just gotten a pomeranian. But, I think pomeranian, is still less of a choice because they are still smaller and extra furry.
That would be such a scam but i would still love it
Oh no I’m scared, is there any legit way to buy the breed?
She gets along great and is inseparable from our 8 yr old Husky and our 2 1/2 yr old Shiba Inu.
i have a 6 month old pomsky😍🥰 love him soo much. energetic, VERY friendly, smart, and easygoing.
We got our dog from a rescue. In the beginning she ate everything thing in sight. She is an amazing dog! I wouldn't have changed a thing. It takes time and training. Plus, a lot of brushing her coat!
Thank u this was helpful for my soon to be new pomsky
i need one i love huskys and poms so this is so perfect
I have a rescue pomsky and I love him, but he needs plenty of walking, lots of boundaries and tons of love and attention. DO NOT GET THIS BREED IF YOU CANT COMMIT. We were his 4th home 😔
Wow man. Thank you for helping this dog. I am sure your dog is very happy with you!
I agree, they are very active and demanding lol. She has 2 sister's , and alway's wants to play. I'm not complaining. Blessed
It is crazy how much their weight varies. Mine is 34 lbs
I have had my pomsky for almost three months he’s 5 months old he's so loveable and energetic he brings life into the home he does love walking and playing and digging and being a little trouble maker
Planning to get some training though
But I don't regret it he does sleep a lot but loved playing
Couldn' live without him
My Pomsky is so hard to train but once you get past that stage there the best dogs, always wanting to play!!!
Im planning on getting one when i move out in about 8 years time, i do also have other dogs so aswell as me giving it attention, it shouldn’t get too bored because it will have other dogs to play with
i got a pomsky last year and definitely dont regret it
I subbed, solely to get you the 1000 subs cause you were at 999
Awesome top 10 facts! I recently uploaded me getting a Pomsky video, so I can totally relate. Thanks!
Husky: SO CUTE
Pomeranian: FLOOFY MARSHMALLOW
Pomsky: *THE CUTENESS IS OVER 1 MILLION*
ItsPixPlays lol i agree
I have a pomsky, she is beautiful and my first dog. She is wonderful and I am so lucky to have her. Her name is Yuna!
I have 2 Pomskies. One is 28 pounds the other is 11. They are both very energetic and fluff balls of love. ☺️
So true on them escapeing the back yard twice I have had to chase my Pompsky around the neighborhood cause he found a new way out!

Im very happy to have her

I got my dog from my sister in law's brother freind
This is a great video!
I have always had a Pomeranian. I would love a Pomsky. But they are soooo expensive!
Vanessa Furlough just buy a husky then push them together 🙄
I got my pomsky for 3,000 my gf bought it for me
These are one of my favorite breeds
My family has 2 pomskys and they are very fluffy adorable little handfuls
Great dugs

Anyone know of a breeders in San Diego CA?
I have a puggle and 2 pomskis! Best dogs ever!
I’m getting this kind of dog, tysm for the info
if you want a dog that will stay small but you want the husky look? Look into the Alaskan Klee kai!! they been around for a long while! They come in THREE sizes. Toy, mini & standard(which is still really small) .
I have a pomsky/Shih Tzu mix. She’s a high energy dog that loves to play!
Haha can I find a picture of your dog somewhere online? What an awesome combination
Love my Pomsky
I had a 25 pound Pomeranian. The vet thought he might have been part Eskimo or husky. Stunning thick coat. He was wonderful. Smart and stubborn. I really miss him. But I agree, this is not a dog for children and they need a lot of attention.
Instead of getting a designer breed like the pomskey, as they were created solely for aesthetic purposes, get an American eskimo, Alaskan klee kai, pomeranian ect. Designer breeds are not typically very stable in temperment. If your super stuck on a designer breed, either rescue or get a later gen dog that will help with temperment.
coolkillerchic 108 I have a miniature Alaskan klee kai
I looked into getting an Alaskan Klee Kai just as expensive as a Pomski
Do you know where you can rescue a pomsky?
I know each dog is different, but my pomsky doesn't really dig. That, and he's super smart and food motivated, so super easy to train. Only advice though is to skip breakfast to really ingrain that food motivation for training. After about 30 minutes, he can learn most tricks shockingly easy
Amazing breed we have puppies and 3 adults
They used to be really tiny when they where a puppy but now they are much bigger and they love digging hahaha
That was our Luna at 3:56 when she was 3 months old!!!! Pls follow her and Milkyway the pomsky in IG at Furry_Luna24!!!!!! Thanks!
Happy to report that she wasnt that hard to train - pooping, peeing and other household commands we use daily
chuyadriano she is adorable! 🥰
Thank You!! Pls follow her and our Milkyway
I should also mention he is currently about 35 lbs, but we exhibit to fill out and be closer to 50ish full grown
How do I get please give me an idea?
Pomsky is the future!, 😊
I just picked this breed up. He was abandoned in a park and previous owners were abusive. He snaps at being pet, put on leash, and even fed. Any tips will help!
I think it’s important to note that Pomskies aren’t just expensive to buy but also very expensive to care for. You pay 1000s for the dog, then more 1000s to care for it. And trust me, it won’t be any less because you think the youtube comment must be exaggerating, this is what my Pomsky is costing me. Please be responsible.
I got a pomsky f1 for 12 weeks now :)
My pomsky loves to dig so much She digs into the carpet 😂
3:19 Blue??? Really??
I’ll be picking my pomsky pup up tomorrow. The person i got it from had at that moment three nests. Mine was actually one of the most expensive ones (€2500) i have an expensive choice.
Pomskys are too cute
Me and my girlfriend got one, smart easy to train but they will tend to get in trouble if they dont burn that energy, feed her mostly horsemeat. Considering mixing it with dry food however to calm her down lol.
I hope to bring one of these guys home, but I am still going to calculate if I can be this best parent of them! I like medium size dogs! so just got too see if the are suitable! but gotta a puppy crush on them!
