In the front of the pointer, there is a brass ring with two notches. If you use a screwdriver or another tool that fits in the notches, you can adjust the focus point clockwise or counterclockwise until it becomes sharp. Start by setting your laser's focus point before adjusting the red dot's focus point.
Just a more precise guide. To change the laser output to a finer cut you would want to do a ramp test to make sure you are at the correct focus height for your lens.
Great Viv but next time put a description up in the field, that's what that box is for when you put up a video so we dont watch it unnecessarily Thank so much....

Great video. My red beam was still too wide at .03 inches, so I cut my hole at .02 inches, instead. It works so much better. Thanks, again.
This absolutely worked and solved my focus problem.
Very easy, smart fix. Thank you for sharing.
Hello I can not see the red laser any idea what can it be?
This is fantastic. Works perfectly. Thanks!
So where you just bending the pointer's mount to adjust it? Couldn't tell...
It has a pivot point on it for aiming it.
Woooh! I'm excited to see what else you have created... Cheers!
Where can I find the mount for the pointer, I assume it is 3d printed.
It was built into my printer. That being said it would probably be pretty easy to design one for your printer if you have any 3d design experience.
Does this change the laser output for finer cutting or just a more precise guide?
