This video focuses on the Discovery Loop Trail which is a short one mile trail near the visitors center. I’m SO glad we saw the ancient bristlecones while we still lived there. We took the longer trail, if you’re used to living at sea level, it can be a little rough, but worth it. We saw Bighorn sheep on the way up.

Josh and Pop, go back there! Order ominous black clouds, and then take photos of iconic tree with black clouds in the background. Oh, so divine! Did you take that little spur trail to the cabin? Nice views of the Sierras from there. As always, great video! Thank you!

There are not a lot of trails that I really, really, really want to hike again. I've done these trials twice...and can't wait to get back again! My wife has never been here...we were in the Owens Valley but skipped visiting this area because I thought the trails would be closed, knowing that the visitor center and the Grandview Campground were closed. Arrrrrgh!! BUT: that'll give us a reason to go back really soon! Thanks for the video!
