Hi, it's a nice tutorial. But I can't make sense of the way you tie the ropes to lift inwards ... There are knots and tails sticking out and it looks not very neat ... Why don't you just use a single strand that goes down from top to bottom and hide the knot between the other strands of the ropes? ... Even , if you get a thick and firm transparent thread (similar to fishing rod thread, but for costume jewelery ...) you could do that and not even a rope would be seen inside ... There are some transparent threads of those that support a large amount of weight! :) I know because I have used them :) Hug
