Elvis was the bomb! Thank you for sharing~

Gorgeous. Wonderful entertainer..RIP our beloved Elvis
That was a peek of what Elvis was like in his prime. If you got to see an entire show of Elvis with that kind of movement and energy, complete with karate kicks, then you got a real treat.
Oh that was good. Still kicking.
@@johncut3039 oh you are so lucky. I'd still go to see elvis even if he was tired or lackluster. I wouldn't expect him to be 1950,,s fresh. He worked hard and did his best as he could. His fans stayed loyal til the end, even when he slowed down a bit. But thing about Elvis, just when you think it's the final inning, he belts it out of the ball park. That golden voice never left. Treasure those memories, because Elvis was declare artist of the twentieth ce.tury, that,s like seeing Beethoven or Mozart. He was a phenomenal to artists yes there was Dylan, Beatles, Stones, etc amazing talents, but it tells you something when Elvis made artist of past 100 years. When the other veteran musicians gone, were gonna have a shortage of classes music, except their past work. You really saw " the legend" and that is the real deal of an overused word. Good for you.
Please excuse some spelling.
@@johncut3039 oh thank you, even for non fans elvis would be quite an experience his charisma and charm affected every one, and that's not even his singing yet. He was not " the rock star" as most people see it. He always was an entertainer he said so himself. He just happened to roll it out to everybody else.
he even needed to put down his mic to do his thing, i love that
🔥🔥
Elvis was music
Lol hell yessssss
Wow 🔥🔥🔥🔥
No one can move like EP they were his moves, he had rhythm in his bones, awesome performance, love if you talk in your sleep .. underrated track . 👍🏿
I loved the live intro to If You Talk In Your Sleep
Great intro !weres the review of elvis in Nashville.. lol
I haven’t bought it. But I was thinking of doing something on it anyway. Like, why I didn’t buy it
I have a video on it called” Elvis 1974 what happened”
Super energy he had!! Elvis is the man 😍💞
Awesome performance! You found a good one, he looked and moved phenomenally here. He also looks like he’s happy and having fun..love to see that!!! Thanks David, very cool!
Yeah he was really moving a lot! Very good footage quality too!

Hi David, you can tell Elvis loves to preform for his loving fans in this video, he is awesome as always. Great job, David. Grace
Glad you liked it Alain
I know when Elvis did his shows he really entertained people and worked very hard. I love to watch him in movies when he would just sing. When he came back in leather and was just sitting in the chair. I thought I was going to faint. I just wanted to look at him and listen. Bob Joyce does just that. He doesn't move all over the place. He just talks and when he sings you just hear that wonderful beautiful voice. His laugh cracks me up. His singing no matter what he sings you just want to listen. I love his humor he makes you laugh. When God made him he knew what he was doing. He reminds me of a summer day at the beach. He reminds me of a Winter Christmas in the white snow. I listen to his Christmas songs every year when I decorate. He reminds me of my hometown back east. He reminds me growing up and my mom back in the 50's singing his songs. There are so many memories that reminds me of him. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful gift your voice. God bless.❤🙏👼😇😁😏❤
Excellent! Elvis really put a lot of energy into this performance! I love it! Thanks. You are doing a great job!
Thanks!
You could feel that energy shoot right through you whether you were in the front row to the back of the stadium- ELECTRIC!!🔥🔥
Fantastic clip 1974 pork salad Anne best version I agree thanks for sharing Dave always Elvis he’s the man
Yes he is!
Simply The King!!
When he was on the stage he forgot all his pains and troubles and gave everything he could.
The amphetamines gave him everything.
@@justmytwobits First of all,his soul, his heart his voice, his magic gave everything!
The King sang with his body too!! Soc cool! ❤️🇮🇹
Elvis lived for music. The man's back catalogue is incredible for an artist who did not live very long. Musically speaking, as far as I'm concerned, the man lived 3 lives. Thank you for your work.
Elvis had such a catalog it’s surprising he did so many covers. I think he got bored with his songs a lot to be honest.
He still put the work in regardless of the differentials in quality. That's real stamina.
@@ElvisistheMan_ If it wasn't for the Colonel demanding publishing rights to many songs offered to Elvis, it would have been a different ballgame. A lot of good songs and song writers couldn't even get to Elvis because of the Colonel. Elvis even mentioned it at the MSG press conference, saying he'd live to do some good rock songs "if you can get them to me." Sounds like Elvis was totally unaware that good songs were being offered, but the Colonel was the "filter". What a waste of talent!
Elvis vocals and stage presence were awesome in 74 even better than the previous year.
I read somewhere where she tried to get a little too close for comfort and it wasn't in a step son loving way. It seems like every woman wanted a piece of him ,,, poor Elvis he must lived a Stressed pressure life. Love ELVIS PRESLEY
Sandra miller! I read something about this same thing! It was suggested that she was taken by his charms, and that’s what broke up her marriage to Vernon. It also said that Elvis never liked her and it put a strain on his relationship with h his father. I don’t know if this was true, but I can imagine what that situation was like! Ahem!
No one can replace mama. But tolerated for his dad,s sake. He must have got sick of women coming on to him. Why he just wanted most only as friends to talk too. Except his girlfriend s more intimate. In an odd unusual way elvis was a one woman man, maybe not in beginning because he was overwelmed by the beautiful women. But he probably tired of that part, just wanted to talk, he really did like women on platonic basis.
Nice video. He had some really good moments in 1974. In this concert, he shows a real good energy, perhaps he was in a good mood and health. And I really like "If You Talk In Your Sleep". One of my favorite songs by the way. I wish it would've sold better.
Elvis is the GOAT 😍
Elvis spoilt us in 1969 and 1970 with his interpretation of PSA. His movement where amazing in those 2 years. Poetry in motion and then it changed quite drastically to this which wasnt the same. It must have been exhausting physically.
I think Joe Esposito had just introduced Elvis to Espresso coffee prior to getting on that stage.... definitely amazing moves and energy from the king! That was great footage!!- TCB Frankie’Elvis’
He can surely move that's for sure gorgeous man 😘💕
Great stuff man...cant wait for the step mom stories ..really interesting
It’s MESSED UP!! Crazy

I can't believe that not a soul has footage from his March 1974 Memphis shows. What a loss.

Hello, I saw Elvis in person in Las Vegas back in the 1970's at the Hilton Hotel...John from North Carolina.
Lucky you!!!! ❤️🇮🇹
How blessed you were to be able to witness that in person
in 1974 he still had the power . Hewas in a good shape and health
There are some interesting facts you shared in this video. And you are right, I didn't know Elvis had that kind of energy on stage in 1974. I thought he would be too bloated to move like that, but Wow, he really is shaking it up. He never disappointed his fans.
No, it doesn't surprise me. He was awesome always.
Elvis Presley felt the music a he put his heart a energy into making his fans happy a giving them a performance to rember he was something else
Wow 😍 watching him move like that will never get old!!!
I think the all the reds at Graceland looked cool in the 70's but I like that the original more classy version was brought back in ⚡
I like the blue and think it’s more acceptable for touring, but i would’ve liked to see Graceland how it was left in 77
@@ElvisistheMan_ luckily there's lots of photos for us to see it & imagine lying on that red carpet like Linda did 😁
Hello Cathy
Great video , thank you for sharing .
Hello, yeh I can say E looked great, and yes Elvis in 74 performing in Memphis was good, but if you look it up because I can't recall, the very Concert Prior to Memphis, Elvis Honestly Sounds as good as his return to Live Performing in 69 /. 70, I could actually say EVEN BETTER, FULL OF POWER, HIS VOICE UNBELIEVABLE, ON FIRE, I LISTENED TO CONCERT ONLINE, I THINK IT COULD HAVE BEEN RICHMOND? I LL TRY HAVE A LOOK, BUT HIS BEST👍🇦🇺🆗🎤🎼🎸🎵
Just brilliant xxx well done for finding this video xxx
Wow what energy

Hi David,
I didn't realise Elvis could move like that in 74. Makes me laugh that he puts the mic down ha ha. Would like to see a video of what Elvis thought of Dee. Thanks David xxx 💝
It’s crazy about what his mom said about him
“Stepmom” lol
@@ElvisistheMan_ hi David, now I'm really interested about Elvis and Dee ha ha xxx 💝
Elvis: THE BODY 😍🧛🏆
He had a lot of energy because he had a pretty little thing waiting for him in the jungle room. LOL! Go Elvis.
Excellent
He looks great here....heavier but athletic/strong. Hard to believe it’s the same guy in Elvis in Concert just 36 months later.
Elvis could pour it on when he wanted to .I listened to a april 1977 concert earlier and he sounded almost like it was 1972 again he had energy good sounds and the audience yelled his name and screamed thru the whole concert so slimmer or bigger elvis was still elvis !
Nice! What concert was that? Do you have a link?
Go man Go! Fun clip. Elvis put in some energised and focused performances every year even when the energy was put into different types of songs. He was really into his karate in 74. There's a good video of him doing a routine to If You Talk In Your Sleep. When you think of what they missed when it came to promoting his singles. They could have filmed that professionally and shown it on TV as a promo. We'd also have something between Aloha and In Concert besides fuzzy fan footage. The Col the record company really lost the plot when it came to promoting Elvis and his music towards the end of his life even the album covers sucked.
HEY 🥰 NEXT WEEK COOKING SHOW 🥰🥰
Elvis got cleaned up in late 73 and he was doing great during the first half of 74. He was still capable of recording hits and he was also still the biggest star on the touring circuit. Too bad he couldn't realize that
Why don’t you think he realized it? Curious to know your opinion.
I saw him in March of 74 in Monroe LA and the show was just about equal to Aloha in sound and performance. A year later I saw him in Memphis and though he had gained 10-15 lbs again the show and sound were incredible. He rocked the Mid South Coliseum, with How Great Thou Art, the building literally shook.
@@ElvisistheMan_ I think that 74 was a year elvis tried to get fired back up , but I think when nothing new was coming elvis sort of let go . I believe 74 could have been the beginning of something new for elvis . He needed a challenge , maybe a good movie or world tour or something with martial arts , anything to stay fresh .
That's the million dolar question 😆. For me, he was a prisoner of his own myth. Anything he did was going to be compared to what he had done in the 50s/early 60s. John Lennon, for example tried to escape the Beatles' myth. Elvis, on the contrary, continued to try to "live up to an image" which meant living in the past. The song you mentioned ("If you talk... ") is a great ex of how Elvis could still be a contemporary artist. What's wrong with "just" reaching the top 20? Elvis could NEVER reprise his early success like Lennon could never repeat the success of beatlemania. It should not have been the end of the world but it was for Elvis. The result was the myth that we love so much but for Elvis as a person it was not healthy
@@rodriguezthiago318 spot on
I read in "Careless Love" that Elvis was infuriated when Vernon remarried and never accepted the new wife.
Nice to see Elvis moving with a bit of gusto here. Nothing could match the performances up to Aloha, but at least you know it's Elvis.
Right! I need to make a video about Elvis‘s stepmom. She said some crazy things about Elvis and made some crazy allegations!
@@ElvisistheMan_ I look forward to watching it.
Damn good video as always. Wow the story was awesome.
I was at the Philly concert in 74, I think this was it. he had on this eagle suit .
Nice!
just wish I would have heard him sing the whole song to really get a true picture of the performance. but he looks great. yeah got a stomach on them but he looks healthy. that's what's important.

Hello Carol
Fxxxxxg amazing
LOVE IT ! 1974 would have been the perfect time for him to dump Parker and go with new management. Great footage and thanks for posting...... 74-76 arrangements of Polk Salad were the best in my opinion. Just discovered your channel and subscribed. Rock on brother !
Nice! Tell your friends lol
Wow 74 Elvis can move around n bend his knee...Yeah he was having a ball here...So 74 was overall ok for Elvis.
Thanks brother!
No problem man!
Great!!!!!
He moved into the Howard Johnson Inn during the redecorating of Graceland
Appreciate all your work and this clip as well. Polk Salad Annie was never the same after 1970.
💯
Wow, he was 39 here he sure was busting some moves there.
73 had been a very tough year for him, mind body and soul, 74 He thought was perhaps gonna be the start of better things to come. Despite his many painful illnessess to be able pull off an energy sapping routine like that proves that he was one hell of a performer. I also think he was purposely trying to prove his critics wrong, he could still do it, and attract crowds of thousands.
I've read snippets about Elvis,s thoughts on his step mom, but some of the things she said about him and his mother were just awful.
Totally awful! And yeah I really like the year 1974
He was 39!! If he’d had been managed properly he’d have rocked the world and still going for years ahead. Instead he replicated the movie years, sat on a treadmill and was bored into addiction
Talent and Dexamyl
King is back tcb channel has that 1975 Toledo concert
I hadn't seen that clip and I have seen alot of clips. I like that American Eagle suit better than the aloha one.
I was told Elvis detested Dee Presley not just because she married his dad but as a person. Also I think the video was just awesome. It shows he had it in him but getting him to bring it out got to be more difficult as time went on.
ELVIS...IF HE WANTED COULD BECOME ONE BAD SON OF A GUN!👊
Yeah
He had a hint of the old mojo there, but it did not measure up to 1970. Please correct me if I am wrong, but I believe If You Talk In Your Sleep was written by Red West. What I would be curious to see is if there is so much as a single performance out there after 1972 where he roared a song out like he did in the '68 special. I listened to one 1974 performance where he told the audience he was going to sing My Baby Left Me just like he did in the fifties, and he did exactly that for about two lines. I was amazed.
Saw him 3-13-74
Hallo, for sure he had much energy in 1974 . He had a lot energy in 1975 too . In march, in june , in july and in december too. Also in 1976 , in march , in may , in october, November and december. I am not a fan to vs all elvis 1971-77 Music with the energy he had in 68-70 . I often Read that These Show is not thats the way ... energy , that Show is not Comeback energy , this Tour was not 69 energy . He was human . And he Show that he was human . Have a nice day .
Elvis feeling it, get down.
Random & off topic but what are your thoughts of Elvis cd A cold night in Nashville that shows songs Elvis wanted to record at cancelled January 77 recording session?
Philadelphia concert
I read that elvis told vernon that Dee really wanted him and only married vernon to try to get with him
Listen to that toledo 77 concert it was really good

Good job Elvis, top 20 still pretty good, he was still out there.
If you talk in your sleep was a good solid song but Elvis was kind of becoming irrelevant in the charts due to the changing trends in music , he really needed to take a break and reinvent himself but unfortunately he was like a train with no breaks as the 70s progressed !
I think the 1977 concert I listed was in toledo
Ok thanks

Yo also check out instagram account called Elvisrarefootage. That person has a lot of vidoes of Elvis i have never seen before.
What's your opinion on why his singles were selling less ?
He wasn’t getting good material because he didn’t have access to songs.
@@ElvisistheMan_ I've always heard that . Wasn't it because in order for elvis to record a song he had to own the rights to the song completely ?
1974 was his really good year! Wasn't to bad with his weight. 1975 that's he went a little down hill.
