By far the best bang for the buck Minivan. I really do not feel like spending more than $25K for a decently loaded Minivan. If you really do not care for fancy looks, this Minivan is awesome.
Hmm. Inane review. Kia Sedona is a minivan made for the 99%. Not over priced, Not a Chrysler or a Dodge that will fall apart into pieces. Powerful Engine, Good turning radius. Pretty darn smooth. Lots of Leg room in the first 2 rows. Decent Looks.
My mom just recently bought a Sedona. I think it has more room than the Grand Caravan and the Nissan Quest. Yes the road noise does increase once in a while but you can get it loaded for about $30,000 which an odyssey would be $45,000. There is also not that much of an difference.
Renting a 2012 Sedona with 36,000 miles and this thing rides like someone been jumping curves. The motor is very powerful but sound like a quiet diesel. The transmission has a slight slip going to 3rd. Brakes are strong and steering is cool. I read somewhere it will do 0 to 60mph n 7.5 seconds and I believe it. Not very good on gas, 15.4mpg after 55 miles and a 110mph ride. It will probably go faster but slow people keep getting n my way.
This woman is so critical in her reviews. The sedona isn't half as bad as she's making it seem. We've owned a few. Quite disappointing for consumer reports. What a terrible review.
I'v drove a Town and Country and my wife just bought a Sedona i don't see much if any differance except for the $10,000 differance. The Senona also hauls butt i am verry impresed with it. the only thing i would change would be to add a big center console in the front but what do you expect we saved $10,000 compared to other vans.
I have a 2009 sedona with 33k miles. I own this car with my (now returned) leased 2016 ford focus and I have to say that they ride just about the same with the exception of handling and steering. Gas mileage is something I need to get use to but since I got this van with the intention of driving it on various ride share platforms, it should do the job just fine.
I must say this car is okay. Its okay. Its good for an economical family. Weve had this car for around 4 years, so far so good and it only gave us small minor problems. I agree with the rough growling at heavy acceleration, but why would you want to heavily accelerate your car anyway?

KV7 (Kia's concept for the next gen Sedona) can't get into production soon enough. :) Oddly, she chose not to fold the 2nd row out the way to get into the third row....and I'd argue that the folding tray table is preferable to a center console, so a parent can walk to the second row from within the van.
This is a very harsh review. She is comparing a 2010 car (which first came out in 2006) against 2016 cars and the price savings are not being taken into account.
We have a 2010 Sendona it preforms well in the engine dept,its very quick.The interior noise is drowned out by my 3 kids. The radio keeps shutting off ,I keep resetting the fuse and it works. Our dealership's service dept has p***ed off the wife,so NO GOOD trying to defend them.The counter people treat her like she is a dumb blonde.We don't like to spend our money there,only under warranty stuff,otherwise they can suck eggs. Only in Canada,eh,pity,what.

I find it a bit suspecious at the end when she mention that "there is better choices out there", I would like to know what are those choices in the same price range !?! Sometimes a minivan is only a minivan....
I'll trade a few "conveniences" for dependability. I've owned Kias since 2003 and have had no problems. So it doesn't shave me in the morning, so what.

I drove a 2011 a month ago. This review is a little on the harsh side. Its a decent van, that just looks dated.

We had the Entourage variant - I wouldn't say I was in agreement with much of this review.

interior looks like it was from the 90s. They are right about the engine too, it get noisy when pushed, enterprise just got a bunch of these

I think the reason why Kia doesnt redesign this minivan is because they dont really sell this a lot in Korea.
Mine does 200 kms, faster than my 2013 Dodge Charger SE model lol haha 🤣 😂 Which maxed at 191 kms, I love my Sedona it's a great vehicle 😄
