You can get more ergo out of it: Rotor Buffer Tube with a Magpul PRS Gen3 Stock+ Fortis Shift + Charging handle = 72 ergo
Not that I would spend that much money to mistreat a VAL like this.
I was gonna add that but 48 recoil it will lose its smooth aim but ur not wrong and i totally forgot about the Charging handle

Its heartbreaking how they massacred my boy, I started out in the 0.12.1 Wipe and this thing was my main gun. It looked good, was incredible for 40k and SP-6 was like 400-600 roubles per shot on the Flea.
A better gun to use than the MP7 in many ways. The MP7 won't most likely be returned on insurance, since it's so small it will fit in a rig or a backpack - high value pr slot opposit to the VVS. The best ammo for the MP7 is ridiculous expensive. AS VAL is quite similiar to the VVS, but it can be folded and because of that fits easily in a backpack (less chance of insurance return). And as you pointed out: the VSS is pretty cheap
maybe don't skip the mount/scope part...
SVD low mount + whatever optic you like
I used it and got 5 pmc kills over 2x raids on interchange my first time trying it out with SP6. Got level 6 slick body armor. 100% durability altyn. Souped up SVDS. Pretty nuts.
now its nerfed :(. do you still play? a response would be pretty cool 2 years later :D
VSS is all I use! Nice to see someone else wanting to see more VSS out there. Stock VSS with PSO scope is pretty kick ass as-is. Just them SP-6 rounds can get quite expensive when you go through clips in raids. I always keep a stack of SP-6 in my alpha container too lol. I'm shocked that no one really uses this gun. It's dirt cheap and hella good. I guess some people have trouble dealing with the bullet drop at 100m+ range?
Dovetail sight reduces recoil. Didn't go over different stocks for val

Dam you, everyone is going to be using vss/vals. It's my go to gun, and people are figuring out how good it is. Already killed like 2 guys with it last two raids

Imo learn a map, learn the caches and use your scavs. Shoreline has 36 of them. I happened to find a blue labs card on shoreline on the ambulance step which you don't need keys for, sold that for 4 mil and used it to buy the keys on shoreline. Theres also 2 spots where the red key card spawns which sells for 16 mil. But you'll almost always have competition running shoreline.
Interchange pistols runs, I can easily have 200,000 in my gamma container alone every time
Interchange. Hit all the PC’s and Oli. I’m averaging 350k roubles per run and it can be done in under 20min!!

I just don't know about the kobra mount its just not visually appealing.
Honestly - SP-5 May have only 35 pen, but depending on map, could be 100% worth it with how cheap it is.
SP-5 has been pretty decent on factory for me
The lowest mine went was 55
Too bad the vss and val dont have that many mods
Doesn't matter already a lazer, and some good rounds if you go bp or spp
