The captain of the Myraham hiding Theon's baby (his daughter's son) from Robb after Theon and Robb ended up at war with one another would also be a great parallel to Ned hiding Jon (his sister's son) from Robert.
maybe the captain doesn't feel the baby is safe enough with him, since both rivermen, iromen and northmen hate theon greyjoy. if they go to Jon he could be the one to hide the child in this "promise, Ned" situation.

He destinguished himself in Roberts Rebellion, the Greyjoy Rebellion and his guerilla warfare against Jaime's army and later linking up with Robb's troops enabled the Battle of the Whispering Woods to happen as it did. Later he also excelled at the Battle of the Fords and Battle of the Camps. Probably Robb's best agent aside from the Blackfish.

I believe that the dragon that Euron will dominate will be Jon, and Jon once dead and come back to life can become something different. ''Only death can pay with life,'' Melisandre once said. And GRRM has said that whenever one of his characters dies and returns, a part of him is gone forever. Perhaps Euron and Jon have that connection that will bring the Long Night, and Jon will side with the ''enemies''. Let's remember that Stark blood is ancient and magical, it is the blood of the First Men and the Night King was probably a Stark. Maybe the end isn't a heroic Jon, but a Jon accepting his old blood and embracing the darkness.

She was intended (in Dance, at least) to keep up with Davos-less Stannis and it’s hard to see where her arc may go if she lives beyond the Kingsmoot.
I've long believed that Theon would be ruling the Iron Islands by the end, based largely on the tale of Torgon the Latecomer and Asha's reaction to the tale. GRRM wouldn't establish a precedent for overturning a kings moot unless it was going to be a factor in the story at some point. Theon's inability to produce hiers hadn't actually occurred to me as a factor, but after this video I'm convinced it's occurred to GRRM.
In fairness, I never noticed any allusion to Theon's possible castration in the books and thought the showrunners changed things just to make it more shocking. Until GRRM explicitly states otherwise, I will consider Theon severely mutilated, but not castrated. As such, King Theon can still become a reality as far as I'm conserned. Just watched a video from Interesting Nerd Club that says (with eerily convincing details) either the Captain or his daughter is the Hooded Man in Winterfell
Good Theory and a Great Video. So we have 2 Possibilities who could have the Will, this Captain and Robb's widow. But who says it could not be both? What if Robb made 2 Copies? One he gave Jeyne and one for the Records in Old Town. I mean why should the Lords of the North believe Jeyne, She is the Daughter of Sybill Westerling, who made a pact with Tywin Lannister and was complicit in the Red Wedding. If Jeyne travels North to bring the Will to Robb's loyal Men, who says they believe her? We don't even know if Maege or Galbart will be with her and furthermore, we don't know if Howland Reed is friendly to Jon, Okay, he is Lyanna's Son, but he is also Rhaegar's Son and if Jon really comes down from the Wall and says he was freed from his vows from a Kinslayer (if Shireen will be still burned by Stannis that is something that will play a Part) who wants to be King, Howland could all tell who Jon really is because he wants to make sure Rikkon will inherit. I think the Will could make things Complicated.
Not a bad theory but why would Robb trust the Citadel? What would he hope to accomplish by doing this? Ya, If Sam is the one who finds the letter & If it names Jon as heir, he'll try to get the word out but still, the maesters are going to do whats best for the measters. And the North is in even worse shape now then when Robb was alive, so why would they care or want to help? I just don't see what Robb would be hoping would happen by doing this
Cool theory but I think the will is being taken to Howland Reed... Robb knows that Howland was his father's most trusted man... I think Robb's will and the knowledge of Jon's true parents will make Howland finally leave seclusion and seek Jon to let him know everything
If Jeyne Westerling gives birth to Robb's heir and Theon also has an heir, the two kids could be raised together mirroring their fathers. Perhaps Theon as Lord of the Iron Islands will foster Robb's heir.
What if George finished Winfs and Dreams but because we been on his head about them he got them set to release posthumously, just so we have to continue waiting
To the question of why he would entrust such an important document to a commoner: it's the easiest thing in the world to make a merchant sea captain into the most loyal of followers with the stroke of a pen. Little appendix at the bottom of the will: "This document was signed and witnessed in wartime, deep within enemy territory, and its safe delivery entrusted to Captain Whatsisface of the Myraham. Should this will be brought intact to Oldtown as decreed by the King in the North Robb Stark, this man shall be compensated for his bravery with a castle and lands on the Eastern shore, and the title of Master." Will? Title. No will? No title. Most bulletproof incentive scheme there is, even established lords have less incentive than that to remain loyal.
I think the chance of the kingsmoot being overruled because of some technicality like Theon not being dead yet and there being this infant heir has about as much chance of changing anything as Rob Baratheon's will had of making Ned regent. This isn't that kind of story.
Isn't it implied that theon had a bastard son in clash of kings. He was banging the millers wife. Then used the kids corpses to pass off as bran and rickon.
Imagine Aurane is legitimized by Daenerys, become Aurane Velaryon? A solid, knowledgeable seafarer is what she needs to even begin to challenge Euron. And that's only to start with
Only in ASOIAF can you have a theory this crazy sound so real, BECAUSE YOU'RE RIGHT! GEORGE HAS THAT OPPORTUNITY RIGHT THERE AHHHHHHH (Sorry, i haven't taken my winter meds recently)
Myraham sounds like miriam who was Moses sister, a prophetess, and later Mary had a form of the same name. So the girl on the myraham having Theon’s baby is a Jesus parallel
Where this theory falls apart IMHO is in its assumption that the Kingsmoot can just be "undone" by an heir of Theon appearing. But that is never going to work, because the Ironborn don't care much about rules or legality, if they did, they never would have accepted the Kingsmoot in the first place as it hadn't been held for millennia. They care about strength, and they follow whoever can give them the most, and that person is Euron, as he has proven already with his raids on the Reach and soon Oldtown. No ironborn is going to change his mind because a baseborn infant of a dead prince who was Balon's heir once turns up. Also, Euron has just been introduced, so to end his reign already in TWOW would be a waste of a great character. He is one of the characters I'm most certain we will see survive until the Dream of Spring.
@@QuinnTheGM I don't think that would make her position any stronger than it already was during the Kingsmoot. Since that point her position only got worse, Asha got defeated and captured by Stannis, while Euron got victories in the South. I can see a potential heir to Theon play a role only if Euron is defeated and the Ironborn are conquered, and the conqueror forces the child upon the ironborn as their future lord, a puppet ruler loyal to the conqueror.
I think Euron will be dead by then. It will be a battle between him and Bloodraven/Bran and since Bran is fated to be King by the end, logically Euron would have gotten what was coming for him before then
Catelyn aka Stoneheart is more likely to strangle Euron than marry him. She has no love for the Iron Born especially since Theon supposedly murdered her darling boys.
Bran will be King by the end (this comes from George himself) and there is _no_ way Bran/Bloodraven would allow this maniac to continue running loose the way he has been running loose. Logically, Euron would be dead or suffering some gruesome fate before then
@@gerardjagroo I agree, something is bound to happen, but ASOIAF clearly doesn't go the way readers want or expect. As an example, I agree that Bran will be king, but a king of graveyards, corpses of kingdoms. If Jeyne Westerling gives birth to Robb's heir and Theon also has an heir, the two kids could be raised together mirroring their fathers. Perhaps Theon as Lord of the Iron Islands will foster Robb's heir.
Catlinn was naked in the river also. Where could she have been keeping that will?? Lmao
Should this will be brought intact to Oldtown as decreed by the King in the North Robb Stark, this man shall be compensated for his bravery with a castle and lands on the Eastern shore, and the title of Master."
Will? Title. No will? No title. Most bulletproof incentive scheme there is, even established lords have less incentive than that to remain loyal.
I really like your logic, I wish I’d included this in the video.
Great video! Is difficult nowadays to find fresh content
Damn this is so good.
How does Randyll Tarly play into all of this? The man is a force of nature.
I think the chance of the kingsmoot being overruled because of some technicality like Theon not being dead yet and there being this infant heir has about as much chance of changing anything as Rob Baratheon's will had of making Ned regent. This isn't that kind of story.
Yay, another reminder that I will never be able to read WOW. But great video nonetheless.
Cause you're dying or cause you don't think it's coming out?
@@myujmes I think it’s never coming out. This series is older than me. I don’t think that George is finishing anytime soon. But hey, I could be wrong.
@@Elhombrequemurio I hope you are wrong, but I've been having similar thoughts
I think we’ll get Winds, but Spring? That’s a whole other season…
@@warlordofbritannia It truly is a dream💀
Theon deserves some redemption
whowa....love it
The baby will be sacrificed in the battle at oldtown for he has kings blood in him
Isn't it implied that theon had a bastard son in clash of kings. He was banging the millers wife. Then used the kids corpses to pass off as bran and rickon.
Yes! Though those kids are dead.
Euron will take over everything!
great vid
You make me laugh. Thank You.
What map are you using in this video?
God please this was would be cool as shit if Theon had an heir
Howland Reed is likely to lead Arya and Catelyn and possibly Jaime to the north
Why did you switch from calling it the Myraham to the “Miriam”?
The Miriam 😁
I think if someone has Robbs will, then its blackfish.
The will makes catlyn lady of winterfell imo
I thought each group had a copy?
Myraham sounds like miriam who was Moses sister, a prophetess, and later Mary had a form of the same name. So the girl on the myraham having Theon’s baby is a Jesus parallel
That c=sea pun
Lady stone heart no question
Pls dont insult my house like this
Sorry don't have time to skim comments. But Cat was tossed into the river naked, the lady wouldn't have dropped anything in the water after death
I feel like a lot of people forget that TWoW won’t be the end of the series. A Dream of Spring is still on the way
THEY AINT COMING OUT WHILE MARTIN is alive
My thought isn’t that Theon’s heir appearing will suddenly solve things, it’s more than Asha could advance the heir’s claim as a potential regent.
It will be a battle between him and Bloodraven/Bran and since Bran is fated to be King by the end, logically Euron would have gotten what was coming for him before then
The weaterlands got burned in clash its not untouched
I spend most of my time on YT looking at ASOIAF theories tht iv started thinking GRR is doing the same and changing shit 4 spite.
Why do you think that the story will go in this direction? if you think it will have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention
Yo, what if Euron marries Stone Heart? Then Stone Heart is the actual heir to Winterfell and Euron the new Lord and King in the North?
Euron already is King of the Isles & North
Catelyn aka Stoneheart is more likely to strangle Euron than marry him.
She has no love for the Iron Born especially since Theon supposedly murdered her darling boys.
Euron takes the W
clearly Theon will die and Asha will pretend to be Theon and claim the throne.
Bold of you to think Euron will be defeated
Also, if I remember correctly, I believe Jason Mallister is currently under house arrest at Seagard by the Freys. Maybe the Myraham never left port?
Bran will be King by the end (this comes from George himself) and there is _no_ way Bran/Bloodraven would allow this maniac to continue running loose the way he has been running loose.
Logically, Euron would be dead or suffering some gruesome fate before then
@@gerardjagroo I agree, something is bound to happen, but ASOIAF clearly doesn't go the way readers want or expect. As an example, I agree that Bran will be king, but a king of graveyards, corpses of kingdoms. ( I haven't read nor will read any of the sample chapters from TWoW so I may indeed be missing some context)
“Robb tells us he is not doing that.”
Bruh this is George rr Martin we are talking about. TRUST NOTHING!!!
0:28 terrible map of Westeros, just look at the iron islands just to start. Kings landing is not in the right place and there’s more I can’t zoom far enough. 2/10 wouldn’t recommend
